First visit to the Taco Cabana chain and I left satisfied. This location was located right next to my hotel and I was jonesing for a Taco. Went with the steak street tacos. Very, very generous with the steak. It was kind of tough meat but it was seasoned nicely.

After waiting for 25 minutes stuck in line, we where handed a bag of cold inedible junk by a guy with no apology and grease literally dripping from his gloves. it was all over the bag and would have gotten all over the car had we accepted this bag. we asked him to re-bag the food and he grunted, I kid you not, didn’t say a word and put it in another bag. when we got home we found the floutas broken up and cracked like they had all busted open. I’m not sure how they got this way but no way am i eating this. Even the queso has grease and every thing just looks dirty. Maybe if they had no capable employees they should have closed early?

I got the street tacos. The corn tortillas were hard and chewy. They gave me flour tortillas with the plate as well and they were puffy, doughy and had awful flavor. Thanks guys! I won’t be going to any Taco Cabana ever again!

Building super nice the staff is super slow and doesn’t know what goes on food. No music playing it so blah in building I wanted to leave. Manger sitting at tsble next to me not even taking note of all the mistake her staff were creating… next time ism going next door to the new Pollo place.

Eh, not bad, not great. I stop here sometimes for a breakfast taco because there’s not many other choices in Kingwood aside from the donut shops. They have decent tacos and salsa. I judge any Mexican restaurant on their salsa. It’s a staple. The tacos are about half full and that’s on par for cost so I don’t expect much more. Flavor is ok but you can’t really add much in them. I’m all about avacado in a taco and I can’t here.

This may be the first taco cabana to ever go out of business. Was trapped in line for over 25 minutes waiting on one car to receive their food. In the process watched all the other cars that were not trapped leave. Could also see where larger vehicles plowed over the curb to get out previously. No apology once I finally arrived at the window. Thankfully I checked my quesadilla order before driving off as they forgot the sour cream/guacamole accompaniment. Dry quesadillas… yummy.

Always love getting the bowls or steak quesadilla. The ranch salsa and the green salsa’s are killer but wish they would bring back the mango salsa. Best Mexican food I’ve had I’m 3 months!!!

Absolutely horrible service! I stood at the counter for 5 minutes and never was waited on. Many workers in plain view with attitudes starring directly at me. I walked out and I will never return! I think it’s time for a new staff and new management!

Went through drive-thru this morning. Line moved very slow due to 1 person working window/food. Barely any beans in my bean/cheese taco.

Had a chicken quesadilla and a Tony Bock beer here. quick lunch, quite enjoyable, nothing offensive that would make me give a lower rating.

Almost completely inedible. Rice not fully cooked. No seasoning in the beans. Greasy cheese enchilada. Nachos smothered in queso cheese and so soggy you couldn’t eat them. Greasy chips. Nasty. Normally I love Taco Cabana but this one is awful. Tried to leave a comment for the restaurant but their mobile website is terrible.

Standard Taco Cabana. We were the only table in the whole place. It still took 15 minutes to get our food. Employees are generally angry(same as every Taco Cabana). Brisket and egg tacos and barbacoa tacos. Tasted okay. Super greasy. Don’t recommend.

Taco Cabana never disappoints. They have fresh ingredients, amazing tortillas, and great prices. There’s usually little to no wait for your food and the salsa bar is always available to ensure your food has just the right amount of kick it needs. Taco Cabana also has a fabulous breakfast menu and really great happy hour drink specials. When I’m back in Texas, Taco Cabana is always my first stop for quick TexMex!

I work next door so I have tried it a few times. Breakfast: they always run out if steak. Lunch: they had me waiting 25 minutes for 2 tacos! Dinner: they ran out of queso! This place is a joke. There are never any managers. Service is slow.

I have tried this location a couple of times just to make sure I hadn’t just come on an off day, but they have all been off days. The food at this location is terrible! It seems that the people who make and serve it could really care less what they are putting out there. The service is so bad. After waiting an eternity at the drive thru, I barely got a thank you from the server. She could have at least offered an apolopgy for the delay. I ordered two breakfast tacos and they were awful! How do you screw up a simple breakfast taco?! Note to the owners, get rid of this staff and start over again, or just close down completely.

Absolutely ridiculous. SUPPOSEDLY open 24 hrs on Fridays and Saturdays. So why is it that at 1241am, there is an automated message saying«We are sorry, we are now closed.» — ?! Insanity… now I know why I never go to Taco Cabana!!! Without a doubt, 0 stars, all the way across the board. I only put 1 star, because I HAD to.

We normally eat at the Little York@ 59 Location. We figured this being a chain that the food would be the same, wrong. The food was cold and tasteless, we took it back and they replaced it with the exact same crap. Not only was the taste terrible but they barley put any meat or anything on the tacos or burritos. In addition it took a long time to get our food even though we were almost the only people in there about(1pm on a Tuesday afternoon).

Came to Texas for business and my hotel was next door this restaurant… i got hungry so i walked to this place without checking Unilocal. omg. BADMOVE. Are you seriously a restaurant? or are you a pretend playroom with real food, and a real kitchen with real big people? I swear i do not know how this business survives. If I put you here in CA, you’d be dead in a week. And this is supposed to be a Mexican restaurant? Are you on drugs? no really. are you high? The tortilla bowl is outrageously disgusting. it tasted like bad deodorant mixed with old baby powder, blended with rotten milk. It is 100% NOTFRESH. I ordered a carne asada bowl man. not a lettuce bowl. OMG! the meat. TASTELESS. The little counter with their salsa and jalapenos and stuff… DIRTY. OMG. is there a manager in this place? DONOTRECOMMEND. Go online, get recipes… even if you’re not mexican… you can definitely pull off a more mexican dish at home than eat here. Seriously. okay. i’m done ranting.
