The courtyard marriott was able to accommodate my 10am check-in. Upon arrival, my keys to my room were ready. Hotel is clean and close to stores and restaurants. Great location and close to work. We’ll definitely stay there again.

Dated, no mirrors except in sink area, bathtub dirty looking, walls seem to be paper thin. There should be a television channel guide. We were part of a wedding party and the breakfast served in Room B left a lot to be desired — had to ask for bowls for oatmeal, no hot water for tea — oh, yeah, no teabags. Water pressure in the shower was great! Reception staff was mostly friendly.

I’ve stayed here on a regular basis over the last 10 years. Yes, the rooms are very dated. Yes, the fitness center is not the best… but there are some advantages, first the staff is friendly as well as helpful, there are plenty of restaurants close by, the lobby is remolded and the food is actually pretty good. Finally like most Marriott Courtyards the place needs a complete make over, hopefully it happens… at some point.

Summary: Bugs, dirty, useless staff, old building — ie. never again. From check-in to check-out this place was a nightmare. The room was dirty with items from the previous guests still on the floor. The shower barely worked. The toilet seat was broken. The room was small because the hotel is an old building that was(poorly) remodeled. I have to agree with Bill T. who said: «I’ve found dead hookers in places that didn’t smell this bad, bless its heart». Out of desperation we stayed the night before moving in with family. When attempting to use the guest laundry services, I found stink bugs and water bugs, both dead and alive, everywhere. Same at the ice machine … on every floor! The next morning we found ants in our room. When trying to bring these issues to the attention of the front desk, I was ignored for 20 minutes(around 10pm) by an employee who would rather talk with his friends on his cell phone than service customers. He looked right at me and then walked into the back office to continue his conversation. His response was that this was«normal». When we checked out many, many nights early and explained to them why, we received an «Oh, ok.» What a hell hole. Also, check out the«Hunt Valley Courtyard» listing with the Cockeysville address for the reviews this hotel doesn’t want you to read.
