Great bread, pizza, Stromboli, and pizza. The portions are large. My favorite is the grilled chicken salad(they put french fries on it) I come here every time I am in Huntington! Definitely a must

Waiting for Unilocal to update the business name to the following: Original Italian Pizza — OIP After hearing a whole lot about OIP’s stromboli and being told that this location is better than the others nearby, husband and I had really looked forward to a meal here while in the area a couple weeks ago. Long story short, the service(15 minutes of sitting before being acknowledged and another hour wait for food), cleanliness(streaked table and sticky menus), décor(odd knick-knacks and ripped booth seats), and overall ambiance(fussy children) left much to be desired, but I don’t doubt we’ll return for the stromboli. I was the only one in our party of 6 who didn’t order stromboli and I wish I had. My white pizza was satisfying enough but the stromboli better. Surprising to me was the fact that I enjoyed my sister-in-law’s steak and cheese stromboli the best. Would definitely order that one next time. Oh, and the size of the stromboli – HUGE. The medium size equates to 3 or 4 reasonable meals. I can’t imagine what the large size looks like. Totally forgot to take stromboli photos, by the way; I must have been distracted in awe. Prices are extremely reasonable. I’d like to challenge OIP to improve quality of service, cleanliness, and perhaps make some aesthetic improvements at this location. There’s a good thing going here, but it can be better.

More people need to know about the glorious food of «OIP22.» In Huntingdon, there are two OIP, or «Original Italian Pizza» shops. There is one in the town proper, which has limited hours and a small menu. Then there’s OIP22, which is open until ten daily and has a huge menu. It’s also creatively named for being right on Route 22. When I went to Juniata College, we ordered pizza from here at least once a week. The pies are a generous size and well-cooked. But my FAVORITE thing at OIP22 is the lasagna. For ten dollars even you get a huge serving of the pasta, a side salad, and a LOAF of freshly-baked bread! For a dollar more you can add a large side of meatballs or sausage to go with the lasagna(although the pasta itself does have a meat sauce). In my opinion, the sauce is the best thing. It’s slightly sweet and completely covers the pasta. After all that, they bake a thick layer of mozzarella on top. Brilliant. I’ve tried several of their other pastas and they are all top-notch as well. If you’re ever in central PA, give OIP22 a try! You won’t be sorry!
