I recently purchased a 3⁄2 suit, the middle of the line suit, with the leg zips. Fits great, is light and warm. The leg zips are killer. Shipping was fast, about a week from order to delivery. …I also have an old 4⁄3 Advantage suit that’s a couple of years old. I like the 4⁄3 it’s a nice wetsuit. Great details like the key pocket, loop for a hat tether, and great overall finish. The seat seam was coming loose so I called them about a warranty repair for my old 4⁄3. Alex called me back and asked me to send them the suit. I sent it USPS for about 5 or 6 bucks. Two weeks later I got my suit back. Great turnaround time. Now the suit is good as new. Looks like they replaced two panels of worn out neoprene, and fixed up the rest of the seams. The repair, and the shipping back to me, were free. Best part is they’re made in California. I’m stoked.

These suits are amazing. Personally made to fit you and at a cost lower then an off-the-shelf brand such as O’Neill. Great customer service, especially for anyone with a disability, and swift. The suits are so comfortable and, yes, the most important — they keep you warm in the colder water. I recommend them to everyone.

I have been using Aleeda wetsuits off and on for the past 12 years and unfortunately their new top of the line suits fall apart almost instantly even when you take care of them. A long time ago they used to blind stitch their top of the line suits but about 5 years ago they decided to stop doing that and just gluing the seams on the inside dosent yeild a long lasting product. They are very comfortable but this dose not take up the slack for the longevity of the suit! Ya they are a little less money than others but to me you get what you pay for. I hate having to keep taking my suits back for repairs like it’s a damn car that needs oil changes every 3000 miles. Save your money and go with a different brand. It’s not just me either, my friend has had the same problem! Please blindstitch your frickn suits and I will buy more!

My sister gave me a wetsuit as a gift purchased directly from Aleeda. Unfortunately, she purchased me a XLS when I’m actually a medium. She purchased the wetsuit thinking is was the right size for me because an Aleeda worker had told her it was a medium. I’ve e-mailed Aleeda twice telling them about the situation and no one has reply. I was going to get a custom wetsuit from them this winter, however because of this incident, I’m going to get my custom suit elsewhere.

Custom wetsuits for less than normal O’neil price? I had my doubt. For $ 50 more, they will build your custom wetsuit. That was a joke in my book. I had my windsurfing days. squeezing myself in Oneil wetsuit, I was expecting the same fate since I decided to take up boogie boarding in southern CA beach. I surfed the web and found this place, It was too good to be true, but the price was lower than O’neil, and I do not have to drive all around the town. So, we ordered 2 custom wetsuits –His & Hers.(All you have to do is measure yourself and type in your measurement). We received them a week or so later. Hmmm, cannot be true. We are talking made in USA here. Custom shirts takes 6 weeks. Custom suits takes 8 – 12 wks and 2 fittings, if you are lucky. But they did arrive in unbelievable time, a lot faster than they told me(I think they said 4 wks or so but it arrived in about a week… I think). It has been over a month since we received them, and finally, we did go out. 55 degree water, and wow! easy to slip in(no Vaseline needed), keep us toasty warm, soooo comfortable as any custom fit item and we have so much fun playing in the water when no one else other than surfers were willing to go in the water(whole water and wave to yourself?)-then who could blame them in 55 degree water. We are totally sold. I checked Unilocal many times to buy a wetsuit, bunch of shops with big name wetsuits. not impressive. Buying a big name stuff without big quality and paying big money is just an expression of insecurity to me. I can tell you that I am so glad to go with Aleeda. They are right here in Huntington beach, CA.- Another too good to be true. Try it, give them your measurement and a week(maybe 2 wks, I do not remember) later, you are ready to go. wow! I cannot recommend these guys strongly enough, Did I tell you that their wetsuits also come in not-so-black-color too?. Their wetsuits have a little flower on it, not that it makes you surf any better, but still, Wow!, again.
