Baskin-Robbins 31 Ice Cream

Horrible customer service. Went there on a Saturday night 1÷16÷16 at around 8:30pm and the employee working there just kept talking to her friends. We waited there a few minutes and decided to leave.

On that day this incident occurred (8÷23÷15) the store was supposed to be closed at 11:30, but we stayed open until 11:45 for late incomers.
We are very sorry that she arrived after the closing time, but the website she found that says we are open until 12 is wrong; it always has been. Our location is not obligated to stay open any later than our hours because a website says so. I would urge anyone reading this to call the store to ask about our closing time, as it is constantly changing. Also, the reason the employees did not let her in is simply because it is store policy; we are not allowed to open the door after closing to avoid robbery, vandalism, and another other late night issues.
I am sure if Heidi M. ever came in during the actual business hours she would have received great customer service, like many people have before.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced at any Baskin Robbins I have ever visited in my entire 30 years of life and I didn’t even step one foot in the door. It all started when my Boyfriend and I wanted to go and do what used to be our favorite «let’s treat ourselves tonight» bi weekly trip to get some ice cream. We looked it up and the only store open until midnight was on Main Street in Downtown Huntington Beach. It was 11:52 pm, 8 MINUTES before theyvfSHOULD have been closing and much to our surprise the doors were locked and the two associates that were working played dumb like they didn’t realize they closed. There was two people working in at this time (one young man and one young lady) and I want to make this clear. The young man that was there looked as if he was feeling in his pocket for keys to open the door for us and looking at the girl that he was working with for some direction or guidance as to what he should do. Sure enough, we heard her say «no, don’t open it» and they both didn’t even come to the door they kept saying we are closed, can’t you just come back tomorrow. Even after I raised my voice trying to ask for the managers name she stayed behind the counter, cleaning, with compete disregard for the young couple trying to enjoy their first and only Sunday evening off together (since we both work two jobs). After we had enough of trying to get them to open the door we started walking back to our car. I couldn’t help myself, so as we were doing so I called the BaskinRobbins location as one last ditch effort to get the ice cream we had been craving for hours AND STILL THIS POOR EXCUSE FOR AN EMPLOYEE WOULD NOT HELP US. One scoop on a cone and one scoop in a cup, was apparently asking too much of this employee. She wouldn’t even give me her name when I asked for it as if her manager isn’t going to know which associate I am referring to by simply looking at the schedule

Good ice cream, but super expensive! I didn’t know ice cream would cost $ 17 for 3 cups! Great flavor selection, just a little pricey for standard ice cream.

The folks that work here are great, friendly, fine customer service.
Store is nice and in a great location – open late.
Love the smell of the waffle cones.
Years ago I used to eat the BR Mint Chocolate Chip like crazy.
But of late I discovered Dreyers – and I think Dryers is a few notches up from the ice cream that I got here on the 4^th of July. At least the Mint Chocolate Chip.
The waffle cone smelled great – but tasted flat – tasteless. Won’t get that again either.
It was a total loss on the actual product that night sorry to say.
I prefer not to have BR again.

Love the customer service here. Kathreen, you rock! What s sweetheart. You were so nice to my boys. I know it can be tough giving 100% customer service to 10-​year-​old boys who are extremely picky about their ice cream, so thank you so much for your help.

Always good ice cream, but when your claim to fame is 31 flavors don’t roll your eyes at me when I ask for a sample.

I really liked the salty caramel ice cream flavor that Baskin Robbins used to have! However, now I go for the turtle sugar free ice cream, which is equally delightful.
I love walking to the Baskin Robbins on Main Street for a little scoop after dinner and then walking in the pier!

The girl, Taylor here tonight was very sweet! Very helpful and I didn’t catch the guy’s name but they were very down to earth and helpful! I recommend going here :) it was my bday and she was very excited for me.

the staff was amazing! they made conversation and seemed very genuine I visited the store last week on wednesday night with my boyfriend and was extremely impressed especially with who quick they were and with how excited they seemed to help us! love love love

This review isn’t to challenge the quality of the product it is the quantity verses the price. I live near this location and go there 3 or 4 times a week, for months. I always get the same thing… two scoop sundae and it is in a nice large cup and all is well… until now. Well, that same sundae now gets shoved into a very small cup. I asked why. I was told the sundaes are kid’s scoops and now put in the smaller cup. What?! I am not a kid! I am paying almost $ 6 for this thing and now literally half the volume of ice cream is given but the price didn’t go down. Greedy and disgraceful. I will not be back. Seriously. if you have seen a kid’s scoop, you know it is half the size as a ‘normal’ scoop. Okay… then charge me $ 3 for it then. There are other dessert places walking distance from me that don’t pull crap like that. I don’t need you, BR!

My husband and I really enjoyed their banana split. Vanilla + rocky road + mocha = YUM! It’s also great that this place has outdoor seating so we can take our dog with us.

This is easily my favorite ice cream place! As always, the ice cream was fantastic. On the other hand, the girl who rang up my order and got my ice cream was extremely rude and seemingly distracted. As I recall her name was Chloe. Luckily, there was another girl working with her that was a lot more friendly and took total control of the situation. Thanks for the great ice cream, Baskin Robbins, and thanks for the great staff that make up for the not so great of staff.

I like Baskin Robbins but I’m writing a review about this specific location because he service is awesome! The employees are always so friendly and willing to help. The location is very clean inside. This is my favorite Ice cream shop!

I love peanut butter and chocolate and cake frosting it’s super good! I love it, love the great employees as well. They are really nice and do a great job. Like to recent upgrades they have made to the location as well.

***Baskin-​Robbins is typically an okay spot for ice cream, but I felt my experience here was slightly subpar compared to other Baskin-​Robbins stores I have been to; the ice cream was too soft and melted and the dulce de leche was just an overly sweet caramel; service was fine; prices seem to be going up at Baskin-​Robbins stores; there might be more interesting and more local frozen treat places nearby***
Metered street parking and a pay parking structure are nearby.

Brooke was my very friendly server that night. I got a single scoop of the Gold Medal Ribbon at 11:45 pm on a Monday Night. Nice to know that places are open this late besides bars and gas stations! :-)

I started the Jarod Subway diet model there ordering a pint a day of my favorite ice cream and it has been a true awesome adventure, the staff are stars, all stars and of course who doesnt love ice cream, my favorite is peanut butter and chocolot, yes choclot lol and Ice Cream Cake Frosting, YUM and it happens to be a YUM Brand’s company, Bravo!!!

Baskin Robbins is what it is. Except… the manager at this one makes it a total joy to go there. So 5 stars as long as they have him working there (no I don’t know him but he makes you feel like you’re his long lost friend).

AOk ice cream. Always crowded but it is a must stop for anyone who has a sweet tooth! A perfect place to chill on a hot day. I wish they kept adequate staffing and perhaps would keep the store a bit cleaner.
