Best value on the beach. Amazing value food and the quality was great. We ordered burgers and corn dogs for the kids, a breakfast burrito with all the meats (they let you get all three for no extra charge) and a couple of the $ 1 tacos. Everything was fantastic and the owner was super nice. They don’t have a public restroom but he let us use the one in the back when he saw my little kid needing to go. We will be back!

I didn’t get to go to this location since I had to stay at our hotel with a sleeping baby– but my husband brought me back a kids burger and taco for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised at how great they both were! Both tasted great and when my hubby told me how much it was I decided we will definitely be visiting this place again before we go back to az. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for affordable great tasting food.

Five stars because of five great things: great food, great service, great prices, great location, great menu. It’s that simple! My family loves this place so much we ate there twice this week already. My favorite is the $ 1 chorizo tacos.

You can go wrong with dollar tacos, but this is not the place. The tacos here are delicious and fresh. For a dollar more you can get shrimp or fish tacos which are dope. I highly recommend this spot if you are in the huntington beach area.

I was meeting a friend of mine downtown during lunchtime and we wanted a place that was quick and cheap. I saw the reviews on Unilocal about this place in downtown HB so I thought we would give it a try.
It’s a small place off of PCH by Huntington Surf and Sport. This particular location has been everything from an ice cream spot to a candy store and other businesses that have failed over time. After reviewing the menu I thought I would try a fish taco and shrimp taco. My friend got a carne asada burrito. He liked it. He said it had good flavor and it was a meal in itself.
All the items were inexpensive for the downtown area. The tacos were only $ 2 each and the burrito was around $ 6 I think. It’s a nice area to hang out at and have some decent food without feeling like you are paying for the view. It’s not gourmet food, but its just good fast food at really good prices. I hope these guys stay in business for years to come.

I don’t understand how anyone could like the food here? It was absolutely horrible. I ordered enchiladas and they were cold and the cheese wasn’t even melted. Sauce was bland. I also ordered a chicken burrito that was small, bland, and boring. George seems like a nice guy, but he didn’t seem concerned at all that the food is terrible.

While on one of my beach walks I stopped in for a snack. I thought I would try the $ 1 tacos. I got chorizo, carne asada, and al pestor. Service was very fast I also enjoyed my tacos. They put plenty of cilantro for me and I added the spicy sauce.
My order was 10 tacos. I don’t know what happened but in a couple minutes they were gone. I had to order 10 more.
Beach food can be expensive and shit tasting but this place is good. For a great meal at a good value this is the place to go.

Since I’ve started working in Downtown Huntington Beach I have been on a search for the best taco in town. It’s been an emotional roller coaster with lots of ups and downs.
After spending about $ 15 for a taco plate and drink at Avila’s I decided to give this place a try while walking down PCH.
Now this review is based on both a combination of quality and value. I walked into Georges with my expectations really low (C’mon, $ 1 tacos by the beach). Once my food came to me though I was presently surprised.
There was a lot of flavor in these tacos. The tortillas were nice and crisp, meat tender and the onions and cilantro fresh. Topped with a little bit of green sauce and now you’re talking!
Gourmet? No. Fancy pants? No. A great value? Hands down. If you’ve just got a few bucks in your pocket this is the place to be!

Came in early afternoon on a Monday & got 2 shrimp tacos as a combo w/​beans & rice, which was excellent by the way! My only beef this time & the reason why I’m keeping it at a 4 star rating is because the workers are so serious… NO ONE SMILES!!! What the heck??! This is a beach environment, laid back chill vibe. Everyone’s happy when they come to the beach. A smile can do wonders for making people feel welcome inside your business. Try to crack one every now & then huh? Other than that, yea, food is definitely tasty :)

I love this place since it’s cheap and delicious… Especially when you got a family of 5. We order 5 breakfast burritos and drinks $ 40. What more can you want. The spot is across the street from the beach and pier. Perfect! Customer service is great.

$ 1 meat/​veggie AND $ 2 seafood tacos DAILY? it’s like were celebrating taco tuesday EVERYDAY here! PLUS it’s right by the pier so i’m glad they aren’t over-​charging just because of location
they use corn tortillas here with a STRONG corn meal taste so you’ll either love it or hate it
—shrimp taco ($ 2): NICE deep fried crust, even better with that avocado sauce they have at the sauce bar
i would definitely come back to try the other meat tacos & the fish taco!

Came here looking for tacos. I came to the right spot! Tacos Tuesday prices, everyday.
I’ve only had the shrimp and fish tacos. One of the best I’ve had. They also have other items on their menu but I haven’t tried it yet. It’s hard to find a decent fish taco around here, so I was real happy about it. Big piece of fish. Don’t bother with the hyped venues on main.

Good spot. Had some ok tacos here and really enjoyed the comfort and beach-​on view. Service was wonderful and allowed us to customize some of the items for what I felt was a fair price adjustment.
We will definitely take a laid back place like George’s vice all the jam-​packed chains that permeate HB around the corner. this will be a regular spot for sure!

Got the shrimp burrito and I have never heard of fried shrimp in a burrito… this is never done in San Diego… I didn’t even think to ask if it was fried. Ok, so I like some greasy food… If it had been done properly, I could overlook this apparent faux pas. But! It was a chopped up shrimp with tons of heavy and poorly battered mush around it. I had to pull that stuff out and that’s when I noticed the battered shrimp was a chopped up piece.
It only had rice and cabbage in it so it was dry as a bone. I honestly didn’t know it was possible to get a bad shrimp burrito so 7 bucks later I regretted not going to Sanchos which has better food and service.
