I can honestly say that I was never committed to any one stylist or salon because I never thought he/​she had ever done a spectacular job that was worth another visit. That is until I stumbled upon Lavish Salon and their reviews on Unilocal around 6 months ago. I thank Unilocal for introducing me to the best hair colorist EVER! Elyse is the goddess of ombres and hair coloring in general. I initially got a balyage ombré from Elyse six months ago and was ecstatic with the results. I received so many compliments that when it was time for a touchup I did not hesitate to reach out to her yet once again. Despite having to reschedule once Elyse kindly welcomed me when I asked her if there was any way I can come in same day, she actually changed her schedule around to accommodate me. This time I asked for a slight change and instead we decided to extend the ombré highlights to the roots for an all over highlighted complexion. The only hesitation I had with my decision was the damage it’ll do to my hair. 3.5 hours later and a much needed hair & gossip therapy session later I was more pleased than I was on my first visit. Also, I do not know how this is possible but my hair feels & looks much healthier than before. I am in love with my new hair! Thank you Elyse for being so sweet and superb in your trade, you are a true hair genius!

I have been going to Elyse for 7 years now and I wouldn’t go to anybody else.
There is not a day that goes by that I don’t have some give me a compliment on the color or cut of my hair. Elyse has helped me learn the best way to care and style my hair so I always look and feel my best. The salon is alway clean and a great place for a great time for a lil girl talk!!!

I am very picky with my hair especially because I have had a couple of bad experiences in the past so I have been so lucky to find Elyse on Unilocal and let me tell you I will NEVER go with another person to style my hair I fell in love with her and looking at all the positive comments got me so excited to schedule an appointment with her! I have gotten my hair done by Elyse for years, she is so amazing at what she does. I always feel I am in good hands. I have gone dark, light, black and even experiment with punk colors (purple, green, blue) in my hair. And know matter what I’ve wanted to do Elyse has made it look so great. Every time I’ve wanted to try something new she’s known exactly what I’ve wanted.

Elyse does an amazing job with guys hair too! I have thick wavy hair and after going through many stylist, I settled with Elyse a few years ago and haven’t looked back. She always is ready to go at our meeting time yet she is very patient and takes her time. Elyse is also just a nice person and fun to talk to. I enjoy my visits to catch-​up with her and then leave feeling like a million dollars. I’ll never go to a barber again!

I have been going to Elyse for over a year now. I will be going to her until the day she retires! And still after that I’ll probably be begging her to do my hair. I have bleach blonde hair and its extremely healthy thanks to her! My hair use to break and never grow but now my hair is literally to the middle of my back! It has been six years since I have found a hairstylist who I’ve felt confident and comfortable enough to stick with. Elyse is an excellent stylist and is able to work with my super thick, crazy hair. She listens to what my needs are and gives important feedback so that I don’t do anything that won’t be flattering. She is precise and professional, clearly knows exactly what she’s doing. The atmosphere at the salon is also very comfortable and personable and makes getting your hair done a very lovely afternoon out!

Elyse has been doing my hair for quite a few years. I have very curly thick but fine hair, it’s hard to deal with. She always does a beautiful job with both my color and my cut. Elyse is very personable and listens to what I want carefully. I love Elyse and will never go to anyone else.
