Don’t eat here. Trust me. I ordered Tomato/Basil pizza and when I got home i noticed something funky with the tomato’s. I started pulling them out and each slice was the end/butt of the tomato. The part of the tomato that you and I would slice off and throw in the trash was turned upside-down in the pizza and baked. This was truly garbage pizza! No basil either. I phoned and left the owner a message and of course. no reply.

I went to this place the first time on Tuesday and ordered the works pizza. I arrived home and and took a bite, then a second bite and noticed there was no taste, especially in the crust. I have never been to a pizza place where the pizza dough was tasteless and the toppings had no seasoning to it really. Also I’ve never given a bad review to any place I’ve gone to that I felt was a decent place, but for the first time I am. Won’t be back and the other patrons, I wonder about your taste buds. Hopefully this was a mistake or a bad day with all due respect to the business…

Decent pizza, nothing to brag about but not terrible, wasn’t upset just wasn’t exactly satisfied with what I paid for. Overall average

Will be my go to pizza place! Oh my is this pizza good! The crust is delicious, the cheese, toppings… Everything. Expensive though. $ 17 for a large seems like a lot to me. Delivery takes about 35min when you call at 5pm.

Love King’s $ 5.50 Lasagna and garlic bread lunch special! What a deal!

They recently changed their sub bread and went to a tougher, thinner roll. Very disappointing. Their subs are so good, and loaded with great stuff– but cmon, the roll is super important! I still love their pizza, but I am very sad that they decided to start skimping on the sandwich rolls.

Be careful today Unilocal said this place was closed; it’s open. I’m on my way to get my delicious pizza now!

Highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner, the service is great and kings special is my favorite, large sandwiches to choose from that can easily be cut for two people and 2 buck chuck down beers

The problem I have is when the pizza crust is tougher than the pizza box. The toppings and cheese however were very good. The delivery time was well over an hour. Might give them a second shot

Now, this was my first time coming to King’s Pizza since I was in high school and it was right next door to Von’s. A few years back, I remember getting a slice of King’s during lunch just about every single day from junior year to Senior year. Well by the time I graduated, they were moving stores across the street next to the 99 cent store, and I moved out of the area. I was hoping this place was going to be as good as I remembered, and man oh man. I forgot how great this place is! The décor is still the same, it’s a lot bigger and nicer inside than it was previously, and their pizzas are still to die for! A large pepperoni for like 12 bucks. You just can’t beat it. Ladies and gents, this place is the best place for pizza. I don’t care how awesome you think Papa Johns or Dominos is, you’re wrong. King’s Pizza takes the gold.

Kings pizza is such a legitimate, old school spot that brings back great memories. When I went to Marina for summer school this was the place to be after school. The pizza isn’t the best on the planet but it’s fantastic for a student or someone eating on a budget. The staff is always friendly, not overly conversational, and really about the business itself. Five stars because pizza is life.

Yay I’m glad I found a goodie pizza joint nearby my home and work I’ve been curious about this place for quite some time now finally placed an order with them a few weeks ago. I went with their ‘The Works’ large pizza for $ 14. It included fresh ingredients, such as onions, bell peppers, peperoni, olives, mushrooms sausages, and tomatoes. It was excellent. The bread/crust was cooked perfectly and tasted good. It had enough cheese and plenty of flavor. My whole family was happy with it. The people who work here are very friendly. The inside is small but there are booths and tables for those to eat inside and enjoy. This place is located in the 99 cents plaza. It’s worth checking out and is a great alternative to your current pizza place.

Been going to Kings for some time now, the price is not the only factor in five stars. Such flavor with the dough, quality toppings. Best place to get Pizza in the area, your cheating yourself if your getting anything other than Kings. Keep up the great Pizza making!

Welcome back Mike, you’re the reason why Kings pizza is so good. I guess they were losing business and had to pull you back in… Hope to see you soon and hopefully you get your cooks back…

I’m basing this review on not the food because with 2 deliveries(which I overheard the unfriendly gentleman say to his co-worker) they were too busy for my delivery. So I’ll take my still tipping business elsewhere. Thanks for nothing kings!

I love eating the cheese pizza here! The bread of the pizza tastes so fresh and moist! I haven’t tried their spaghetti and other stuff yet. It’s a bit greasy than most pizza but if your looking to get fat with delicious food. I recommend this place!(:

Friends in our neighborhood told me about the place and said you got to try it, not satisfied. Back to Valentino’s pizza for me.

$ 11 for a large pepperoni pizza. The larges here are huge! The pepperoni was so good, not the cheap kind most places nowadays use. They put a ton of cheese on their pizza. Ask for extra sauce. You might have to call a few times to get someone to answer because they are really busy. It took two times for them to pick up for us. Only took 15 minutes! The parking lot is dark at night so be careful. Near the 99 cent store.

Best pizza I’ve had in a LONG time! It tasted like homemade pizza instead of pizza from Dominoes or Pizza Hut. Totally worth the 10 to 15 min wait too if you just walk in. The staff is also friendly and there is seating available to dine in.

Same old great pizza and service. They moved across the street from their original location but with Carlos behind the counter still running things, everything looks like King’s will keep its thrown another couple of decades.

This location is nicer than their last one in that there’s more seating but it’s still nothing amazing on the inside. The pizza, however, is nothing but amazing and that’s what matters. It’s unhealthy, greasy, made-from-scratch exactly like any pizza should be. Slightly more expensive than Pizza Hut but the quality is much higher and it’s a lot more filling. Plus you’re supporting local small businesses!
