I don’t like that this store opens later than normal(11:00 a.m.) and does not stock the #1 brand of cardstock but another brand that’s not as popular. My hat’s off to the owner who has managed to move up twice from much smaller locations but the selection can be sparse from one vendor then abundant from a less popular vendor. I’m assuming that’s slower moving or old inventory that didn’t sell well. Not alot of unusual stuff but I’m glad this store is here and when I’m in the neighborhood, go by.

this shop was awesome. I had a crafty project for work and needed a lot of supplies that I didn’t know too much about. the lady working was super helpful. she helped me find the right colors of paper I needed(they have a TON) and the tape stuff for pictures. fantastic!

My wife’s latest hobby is making handmade cards so she’s always on the lookout for places that sell rubbers stamps, paper, etc, etc. Being the good husband I am I found this place thanks to Unilocal and took my wife here. What really ruined this store besides the scorching stuffy heat was the lady working here. It’s a tiny store and we’re the only customer. Not once does she ever greet us, ask if we need help, or even look at us. She just pretends we’re completely invisible. When my wife went up to her to ask her questions she literally could not answer a single question. She knew nothing, NOTHING, about any of the items she carried. She’s not the owner, but sheesh, learn about what you’re selling. If the owner of this store witnessed this employee in action I’d hope she’d be ashamed and offer up some training or a new employee. With the marked up prices you should at least be offering me customer service to make up for it. But no, all this place offers you is extreme heat, overpriced products, and a clueless rude employee For some reason my wife decided to buy something and it took what felt like eternity to check out. She couldn’t figure out how to use her iPad to ring up the transaction and the Unilocal check-in coupon really confused her even more. We were about to walk out and tell her to forget it when she finally figured it out. Thank god I payed with cash since I can’t imagine what she’d do with a credit card. I’m all for supporting the little guys but I’d never step foot in this store again.

There is no way I would give this place four stars. One reason is it has nothing for the card maker or any other craft just plain scrapbooking. Each piece of paper is sold individually not in packs, this is so that they can make more money on the paper. The lady behind the counter told me that the owner actually does get these in packs but she separates them when she gets them. Another reason I would not ever go back here again — prices are high! And there’s no air conditioning so in a 90° day like the day I went in — it was too effing hot to even shop –yes I’m really saying that. I’m not going to go back not worth my time.

Just went to Perfectt Day this past weekend during shop hop and it is a nice little store. Not alot of items, but what they have is nice. Also a great sale bin! Plus it was decorated very nicely for Shop Hop. The owner is nice too. Check itout.

This store has quickly become my go to scrapbooking store. Perfect day was my «home store» during the 2012 Shop Hop and were very helpful and great, they even hosted a fun pre Hop crop to decorate the bags and get to meet other Hoppers. They have done custom orders and helped me get items from other stores if they don’t have an item. They have a nice selection of papers, stamps and just about everything a scrapbooker needs. Perfect Day also offers classes and crops. The people who work there are very friendly and I often lose track of time when I shop there enjoying the time i get to visit with my friends.

Love Perfect Day. Always a great selection of new stuff, Rachel will bend over backwards to order anything she can that she doesn’t already stock. People who crop there are friendly and welcoming.

I love this place. Rachel is so nice and always willing to help. She’ll do special orders, ship if need be and pull and hold items until I can get there. Crops are low key and a blast. Always have great conversation! Prices here are better than some other specialty scrapbook stores. Rachel is always wiling to give suggestions when I get stuck on a project. I don’t feel like I’m being pushed to buy product when I come to crop.

I had bought the Groupon and of course, it was about to expire so I finally made it in the store. We walked in on a Saturday afternoon and apparently a regular group of scrappers were just finishing up. Felt like we walked in on a private party. I read the store had just moved to a larger location so maybe that explains why so much wasn’t priced and how many things were in boxes. The owner came to ring me up and kept going on about how much it cost her to use the Groupon. She said it was a success but did I really need to hear 5 times that is cost her? Um, I’m spending twice the amount of the Groupon in your store, how is that? I don’t know. I thought they had a lot of cute paper but that was pretty much it. I don’t go in to Huntington Beach that often and she didn’t really show me anything to get me to come back. Her clerk raved about all the cute stuff but maybe it just hadn’t been unboxed yet?

I went by this store a few weeks back, just to browse, and left totally pleased. The owner was super friendly and helpful and the prices on paper were fair. Definitely a good scrapbook store :)

a cute little scrapbooking store in a strip mall. they are pretty small, so just look for the sign saying SCRAPBOOKING on the street and once you’re in the parking lot, look for their sign in the window. they’ve got lots of parking. yay! the shop has a nice selection of papers and a few tools and embellishments, but they are so small! a whole wall of the store and more is dedicated to papers(which i bought a few of) including seasonal /holiday like Easter, Valentines, Halloween, and Christmas. My favorite papers(and what i bought) are the Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland, and cute bugs. talking about Harry Potter, if you’re going to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, they have a special die cut of that, plus lots of papers, stickers, rub-ons, and a whole kit if you can’t decide. they have a few different decorative brads, like flowers, hippos, ants, ladybugs, and screw heads. the embellishments are spread out around the store, and the ink pads are limited, but that’s expected, since it’s not a rubber stamping store. they’re got ribbon, adhesives, buttons, and a few things on sale. i was looking for more embellishments, but i easily spent $ 40 and got a whole bunch of craft supplies. the staff is friendly and helpful. check out is a breeze, and i used a Groupon this visit, and had no problems. she even told me i had more i could spend and let me wander around the store to find more to use all of the value of my certificate. how sweet! i’m sad they’re not open on Sunday, but i guess everybody deserves a day off! i’m rating it a 4 because i wasn’t looking for paper(that’s most of their supply) and they’re really small, but prices are great and i would definitely visit again if i was in the neighborhood.
