The cashier«Theresa» is the rudest person I’ve encountered in a long time. I am seriously considering just doing business with CVS or Walgreens.

Best. Pistachio ice cream. Ever. I’ve tried so many different ice cream places. And so many different kinds(liquid nitrogen, gelato, custard, etc) and I have to say that my favorite ice cream is the pistachio ice cream from Rite Aid. They only put pistachios which is nice because sometimes I just want pistachios only and the ice cream itself isn’t bitter and tastes really sweet and creamy. I like it because it has this really great pistachio flavoring and scent but it’s not overwhelming. I love Rite Aid ice cream forever.

I think this Rite Aid store should seriously consider educating their cashiers. I was in the area where you are suppose to wait for the next cashier & guess what there were at least 2 other customers who formed their own line & did not follow your store’s instructions. The cashier decided to pay attention to that customer & when it was my turn I provided the cashier feedback. Well, guess what that cashier did not bother to apologize or say something about that. This is the 3rd time this happened to me within the past 3 months. I am seriously considering just doing business with CVS or Walgreens. Forget that damn wellness points and forget that damn Plenti card!

I needed some gift cards and since this rite aid is by my house, i came back. There were 3 tellers including the undriendly one i had the other day. Of course when it was my turn, the other 2 tellers walked away leaving me with the same grumpy teller i had before. There was one teller who hust finished ringing someone up and i went to his lane and he said the drawer was closed. So i had to use the same grumpy one again. Again, her affect was flat and offputting. This time I caught her name, Teresa. Ill keep shopping here since these corporate atrocities have put many ma and pa shops out of business, but i wont put up with bad customer service. I own a retail shop and take pride in training my employees on respect and self awareness with a positive personality, which is the key to a retail shop. That is unless you have no competition since you put everyone out of business.

Great service!!! They say«Welcome to Rite Aid» every time you go in the door. Ice cream service is excellent. My 2-yr-old dropped his ice cream cone and the server took care of it immediately and with a smile. The little things like that make us come back… plus the great price on everything.

Hello I would like one scoop of cookies and cream and one scoop of pecan and pralines please. OK, here you go. I take a bite. Oh you know the pecan pralines is completely melted, can I have another flavor? Blank stare… You already took a bite, I can’t put it back in the container. I don’t want you to put it back, I would like you to throw it away. Then he throws it away and re scoops me the smallest scoops I have ever received at right aid. Errrrrr

DONOTSHOPHERE, MANAGEMENTALLOWED A CUSTOMERTOBULLYMYHANDICAPFATHER. INSTEADOFOPENINGANOTHERLINEANDHELPINGTHEIMPATIENTCUSTOMER. My handicap father and I went to shop at this location today and had the most horrible experience(horrible is an understatement) my father is an old fashion man who takes pride in saving money so he does use coupons. Because this store and the store manager named Ali(who had no sense of urgency to open up another register and deescalate the situation or just discount the 4 coupons valuing $ 4 for my father) watched over my dad like he was a criminal for using coupons(do not make them available if you do not want your customers to use them) and an impatient customer in the line behind him yelled«Its too fucking busy to use coupons» then under his/her breath called him an «Asshole» my dad ignored the first comment and when he/she called him an «asshole» he said«fuck you» then Ali jumped in and said «do not talk to my customer like that.»(What do you think my father was you idiot) to top it all off my dad asked for the corporate number and was being given the run around, and as my dad returned to his vehicle the man/woman? was waiting for him with something in his/her hands to threaten him, car parked behind his so he could not leave but said«you are lucky you are handicap» when I came back to the car my father was shaking, Ali is a real piece of work, and I will never shop at a Rite Aid again, I will never take him to a Rite Aid, and I will ensure that everyone I know, knows how Rite Aid allows their management to bully and be accessory to violence toward their customers and does not care about their safety. DONOTSHOPHERE. My father does not control staffing and how many cashiers are in the building, regardless of the time of day, he was just a regular customer using coupons as anyone believes they could in a store that sends them to his home. Transaction # 1301685 Register #2 Cashier #57453049 check camera you’ll see when the customer in the line«started yelling at him» Ali failing to stop it then, then intervening when my dad«responds to him/her» you’ll also see when my dad asks for the number that Ali«beats his name badge on his chest» what professional manager does that?! Rite Aid used to be so great.

So this was a very different kind of visit to this store today. The cashier helping me was very service oriented but the rest of her team was not supportive. I dropped by to purchase some goods I had seen on sale online. I have been to this location a couple times. I noticed the loss prevention expert/security guard right when I walked in which was a new addition. I also noticed he was actively following me and others… but that’s his job. I proceed to grab my goods and check out. While checking out the security guard and a patron get in a scuffle at the door. There’s all kinds of commotion and my poor checker is all out of sorts. She calls the police and hands the ph to the old lady that’s complaining about my purchase of more than the allowable item for the coupon I’m using. Further she goes on to complain that giving me more than one item will cost the store more money than they are already losing.(Not a convo you shd have in front of the customer) The older lady continues to hover over our transaction while my cashier makes me a raincheck since they were out of the size I wanted(while customers are waiting). Now the older lady is telling my cashier not to raincheck it. I mean, where is the service here? This lady is doing all she can to diminish my experience… meanwhile there’s a fight about to start right at the front door where I’m headed. The sad part about this whole experience was that I felt so bad for my cashier that I didn’t know what to do. So I stood there while she made it right and towards the end that lady still came over to «police» my transaction? I’m a bank manager for multiple locations of a local institution that holds service as the highest standard… and I can tell you that this person doesn’t have the customers best interest in mind. Thank you to my cashier who powered through the transaction and went the extra step.

Good for the local goods. They recently remodeled the beer and wine aisle, but they are still lacking my 12yr Jameson. It seems although this place gets bigger and bigger. And remember, THEYHAVETHRIFTYICECREAM!!!

My 5 star review is for the pharmacy. Seriously, they seem to know everyone! I walk in and they grab my prescription without me having to ask. They are friendly and ask details about your life. This is the pharmacy where everyone knows your name…

I am reviewing one part of the store… the Thrifty’s ice cream counter! You can’t go wrong on a hot day with Thrifty’s ice cream. Unlike my memories as a child, I have never had to wait for someone to come help me :-) Plus they have so many choices!

Everyone here is so nice. This is definitely my fav pharmacy. The clerks are fast with friendly faces. The ice cream I’ve loved since childhood. But this last visit really prompted me to write a review. I dropped by the other day with my sister; we had stopped by CVS previously and she had asked the CVS pharmacist for consultation and the pharmacist on duty said that she needed to see a doctor. Nothing else said. So I suggested we try our neighborhood Rite Aid since it was on the way home. Todd was the pharmacist at Rite Aid when we got there. He was sooo nice and you can tell he just genuinely wanted to help us. He gave us advice as to which over the counter medicine to use, even home remedies to try! Thank you Todd!!!

Hubby and I stopped by Rite Aid to pick up some items. I typically don’t shop at Rite Aid but it was on my route and convenient. The store is large, needs to be remodelled, but seemed well stocked. As I was at the check out counter, our nice server Miguel told us that my witches hat costume would be $ 4.99 if I had a Rite Aid customer card. Hubby told him we wanted to sign up for the card and Miguel typed and typed and typed in all of our information. You would have thought Miguel was getting clearance for launching a nuclear weapon. Then, it gets even better… Miguel had difficulty processing our information and asked for assistance from Theresa(Shift Supervisor). Theresa’s reply to Miguel was, «I don’t know what to do. Just follow the directions.» Umm, Theresa wasn’t helpful and she needs to «Shift» her tired and grouchy attitude to Florida and join the retired peeps. Hubby’s patience finally hit it’s limit and he asked Miguel to please process our discount so that we could get home to drink our 50% off wine. =) I won’t be returning to Rite Aid… CVS, here I come.

I had to stop and pick up ice cream and ice for a friend’s get-together. I had always heard that Rite Aid’s brand ice cream(Thrifty) was very good. So instead of just going to Ralphs and getting some known brand, I decided to stop at this Rite Aid. The store was pretty big for a pharmacy, and the Thrifty brand was prominently featured. There was actually a little ice cream parlor station(though it was unmanned) as well as freezer cases of packaged ice cream. I wanted chocolate and vanilla, but surprisingly, they were out of chocolate so I had to settle for strawberry and vanilla. I wasn’t a big fan of the ice cream. The flavor wasn’t anything special, and I didn’t care for the consistency, which was kind of taffy-like. I prefer the smooth, creamy texture of Haagen-Dazs. Maybe it is a matter of preference, but for me, I probably won’t be getting Thrifty ice cream again anytime soon.
