We have been coming here for years and love it. The price is great for what you get. And it is good, good food. Healthy food and quick and easy. Love coming here.

Best sushi place around. Been coming here for years. They even offer brown rice instead of white rice. Making your sushi a little healthier. You can eat there or take out. Reasonable prices.

Loved their beef curry and sesame salad dressing. Very tasty and good portions for the price. Would definitely come back.

First time in Sango, lots of pictures to show you what the food will look like and after looking to see what I would like, I ordered a sabo tempur that was deliver to me hot, however the sabo was Microwave and white material in too did not make it appealing at all. The rest of the food was good, just not the fish.

Stopped by this place while i was out and about. I am new to the area, and LOVE sushi! I got the spicy tuna bowl, with POKE sauce, and it was SO good! I couldn’t stop thinking about how I hit the jack pot with this place!
Definatley check it out! The staff is SUPER friendly too! :) I’ll be back again, and again!

First time here and was not disappointed. Came in during lunch time. Although it was packed, service was very quick. Orders are taken at the register and brought out to your table if you dine in.
I’ve been craving Udon and ordered the Veggie Curry Udon. It was worth the $ 5.50! The udon came out with potatoes, onions, and carrots. It was fresh, tasty, and hit the spot. The other items on the menu also seemed reasonably priced. Will definitely be back to try there other dishes.

I have been going to this place for over 10 years. I can always count on their high quality Sushi to go.

Fast and reasonably priced.

Got the spicy tuna bowl, but replaced the white rice for brown and the tuna for salmon. But overall it was ok. Nothing to rave about.
There was too much sauce on the rice and the salmon didn’t taste as fresh as it looked and there wasn’t a lot in the bowl. The cucumbers looked and tasted old and withered. Will not be coming back :(at least not for bowls

This place is a pay for what you get for. XD
So I was in the area and I was craving for some simple rolls and I was like, no place can screw up on a CA roll or spicy tuna. Well on the outside, this place looks Japanese but when you eat the sushi, you will realize that this is some of the most americanized sushi ever. Every roll was difficult to eat, and packed with carrots and cucumbers. It was just tasteless to me.
Honestly, at least the service was decent and the décor is nice and clean or else I would give this place one star. Skip for me unless you like eating cucumbers dipped with soy sauce.

Tuna sushi and a spicy tuna hand roll on soy paper. Very delicious, great prices and super casual! My son ate all his miso soup and loved the tofu! It’s a small place and offer take out too! Kid friendly and have high chairs

Sango sango sango. Say that three times in front of a mirror and a delicious Combo B will appear in front of you. Seriously, this place is so unassuming yet a hidden gem. Cheap prices and good quality sashimi.
I’ll come back here for as long as I live in the area.

Absolutely horrible service. Called my order in so I could pick up in a hurry for my sick mother who needed to take her meds with food. I arrive promptly and what a surprise they gave my order away. I stood there and waited another 15 minutes for my order. Mistakes happen, I get that. I’m not even that upset about now having to wait a total of 30 minutes for my moms food but if they knew anything about customer service they should have comped my mothers meal (instead of offering a cup miso soup which my mom doesn’t even like) to make up for their mistake. So that is my reason for writing this review. On a side note I’ve had the food here and it’s not even good. Go down the street to sushi on fire and get some sushi that actually tastes good and has excellent customer service. I won’t be back here.

Terrible yellowtail sashimi and crunch roll. Chewy yellowtail and the crunch rolls were too large to eat, falling apart, and had too much cucumber.

Been enjoying Sango Sushi for at least 10years… since I first found out about then in Los Alamitos.
I enjoy the casual dining along with their inexpensive pricing, great for those days when u just want to eat and go home, without spending so much.
Their sushi is actually pretty good, considering what u are paying. Definitely one of our favorite casual spots to eat.

Casual dining, excellent service and prices, clean atmosphere. They serve draft beer.
I love Sango. Our family eats here about once a week on average! Excellent menu for the Sushi lover AND the non sushi lover.
The kitchen menu is very good as well!

This is a decently priced place for sushi, and it’s really good! I come here very often for asian food. This is the first time this has happened, but I found a hair in my food. I usually scrape off the wasabi from the sushi, so i lifted up the fish and found a hair. Cute. Otherwise the food is amazing! Love the beef bowls.

Chirashi: Big portion with decent amount of toppings. The fish quality is really not bad especially for the dirt cheap price.

Serious sushi aficionado need not apply. BUT even if you were, you’ll be surprised. I might be one of those, and I’m not kidding. For this crazy cheap price (mostly under $ 10, yet you can upgrade it with minimal costs), the quality is very admirable. You’ll get much more satisfaction than many table service sushi bars and other places that offer to-​go sushi like «Whole Foods» (though those are a plain «joke»).
Huntington Beach really don’t have a quality sushi — «Gesshin» or «Hashigo» are the best Huntington Beach could offer. They aren’t even close to «Kasen» and «Koto» in Fountain Valley — even they aren’t better than «Nana San» in Newport Beach.
Bro and Bro Hoes prefer pizza and sandwiches. And they seem to consider «RA sushi» as a good sushi. There’s little hope for this «bro» town…
If you have never tried «sushi» or wanted decent sushi quite often, come here.
You do feel the value and better quality sushi than many sushi places around here.
They offer more than sushi and everything (curry, noodle, bowls etc.) except for cut rolls are dirt cheap. It’s quite an unassuming yet admirable restaurant. Support this type of good local restaurant!

Tried their beef udon and salmon sango dish here today. Beef udon was a bit salty but had good flavors. Salmon sango was baked with a mayonnaise sauce (similar to baked mussels) on top plus it’s salmon so it can a bit much and fatty tasting halfway through. Overall both were quite good and relatively cheap. Portions were also generous. Got take out so can’t say much about my experience there but I’ll definitely be back.

Super nice people and the food is great! They make special designer sushi and tasty udon. For the picky Sushi eater this place may be okay but for the weekend warrior like myself this place is great! The price very affordable. This is a Huntington Beach local hangout and it gets busy and has a limited seating. But you can always go eat outside!
This is in the SeaCliff Center and there is lots of parking and in a prime location.
