We eat take out from here more than any place on the planet. Yes, it is that good and I can’t stop going back. We have tried other places just in case we are missing something but they don’t stack up.

The best Thai I’ve had in a while. They are very liberal with there shrimp and meats. We ordered a large soup, salad, dumplings, and curry. Everything tasted so different from one another and they also offered a variety of sauces to give there dishes a more distinct taste. This is definitely going to be my go-to spot for soups. The only complaint I have was that they really skimped out on rice. We received about half a serving of rice, the white box wasn’t filled up all the way.

Great little Thai spot. Modern décor. I had the lunch special Pad See Ew. I know everyone goes for the Pad Thai but if you’re looking for something different get the Pad See Ew it’s my favorite thai noodle dish. The lunch special came with a delicious tom yum soup and a salad. 9 bucks for all that is a steal! The crowning jewel though is the service here. I was hesitant to come in here for my lunch break because if the service is slow it can really kill my break time. I’m so glad I did because I was greeted immediately as I walked in and seated quickly.
My server was Jay and she is a rock star waitress! She knew I was on my break and she made sure to have everything out quickly. She was super attentive the whole meal even though the place was moderately busy. A lot of places can’t give me the superb service I received here even on a slow day. I asked her name so I can give her a shoutout here on Unilocal and she actually bothered to learn my name. You really feel like the servers here care about you and they seem happy to have you there. That is so rare these days. Keep it up guys!

Delivery wasn’t bad. Had pad Thai and the spring noodles. The peanut sauce was the best. The fried dumplings was delicious.

I have only ordered takeout here and the food is pretty good. The shrimp fried rice @$ 15 is kinda pricey but the shrimp are large and plump.

My husband and I love silk THAI. Both pickup or delivery– food is delicious and service is great. We love the pad see ew with chicken or shrimp, and egg fried rice. So good– we have tried many Thai places around here and silk THAI is the best for sure. We have tried the fresh rolls with shrimp and they are good, too! Delivery arrives hot and on time.

The food is delicious and the service is great! Other Thai places take forever with delivery but not Silk Thai! Our go to order is chicken spring rolls(healthy and tasty), Pad See Ew with steak, and veggie green curry with brown rice. We can’t get enough, we order from here at least once a week.

Silk Thai has some decent Thai flavors, but compared to countless other Thai restaurants in the area, the portions and prices aren’t enough to keep me coming back frequently. Friendly service, though! It’s just hard in such a competitive market for me to make this my go-to Thai place.

Came on a Saturday evening for dinner with my parents. It was surprisingly crowded but we were still seated quickly. I was surprised but impressed at the modern, elegant décor of the small restaurant. All 3 of us ordered Thai iced tea, which came in a huge glass(yay). It was a little too sweet for our liking but I loved the large portion. Service was quick and extremely nice. — Calamari: Perfectly crisp and golden but wasn’t a big fan of the coconut milk sweetness — Shrimp Pad Thai: Good! They gave a lot of shrimp but the cut of the carrots were weird and inconvenient. — Kra Pow(pork belly): Didn’t personally try it but dad said it was salty. Overall, the location is convenient so I’d probably come back for a quick Thai fix but there wasn’t anything that really stood out for me.

When I walked in they didn’t even smile or say hi very rude and horrible service. They seated me at a table with a bunch other people! the seating arrangements are horrible they didn’t feel my drink up !! service was very very bad which made the food taste bad. Although in honesty the food was OK but I’ve had better Thai food

I intended to go to SlapFish for dinner, but they unexpectedly closed early. So, we made a split decision to step into Silk Thai instead. It was a great decision. The atmosphere was great. The service was solid. And, the food was tasty. We ordered calamari and toong tong to start. The sauce on the calamari was had a good balance of sweet and sour and didn’t make the calamari soggy. For my entrée, I had the Crying Tiger. The meat was cooked to perfection and didn’t need the sauce they serve with it. The vegetables were a tad undercooked, but edible nonetheless. For two of us, the bill was just over $ 50…consider we had two appetizers, the value was great! I’m definitely planning to return.

My choice was the king egg roll with shrimp crab and chicken. It was tasty and ample as an appetizer. The chicken Pad Thai was fresh and screaming Wok hot but a little oily for my taste. They served a chicken soup and a salad. The soup was … Soup? Suggest some Tom Yum or coconut galangal soup instead of Campbell’s??? The salad could have come with a nice sweet peanut type dressing. Also shared the spicy eggplant also NAMPRIKPAO Wok hot and very oily. The egg plant was a little mushy but tasty. I don’t like it when I have to beg that the Nam prik, NAMPRIKPAO peppers and ground chilis to be brought to the table as in Thailand they are the salt and pepper shakers on any table. I love the sauces and roasted Thai ground chilis. The Thai tea was decent with no offers of refills. However those in my party had their Cokes refilled often. Overall I left stuffed to the max. The servers were pleasant and prompt for the most part. I will go back in time but there are a few more Thai eateries I need to examine. Cut back on the oil, please!

I had high hopes for this restaurant. We ordered from here through Eat24. The delivery was prompt and the packaging was really good. The food wasn’t as good as we had expected from the 4.5 star Unilocal rating. Not sure whose palates they’re catering to, but everything lacked balance. Almost every dish was overly sweet, there was too much coconut milk in our curry, and there was a lack of acid(which could’ve cut down on some of the sweetness). The spice level was weak also, medium spicy and spicy tasted pretty mild. We ordered: Tom Yum — Shrimp Pad See Ew — Chicken Papaya Salad Larb — Pork Pineapple Curry — Vegetable Spicy Eggplant — Chicken Brown and White Rice The Spicy Eggplant and Pad See Ew were the saving dishes, but I’ve definitely had better. We’ll probably try ordering from one of the other half dozen Thai restaurants in the area next time.

We reached there at 9.05 and the receptionist handed the menu right at the gate to choose the food immediately as they were closing in 25 mins, I found it very disrespectful. The food was delicious– no doubt. The prices were too high. And they mentioned on their menu that they will give 10% off to the HB residents but even after showing our ids they did Not give us the discount which was unfair! The food gets 5 stars The service get 3 stars The price and dishonesty gets 1 star

It was our first time trying this restaurant. My bf and I really love Thai food! It was a quaint little place that holds maximum capacity of 35 people or so. The décor had contemporary as well as Asian flare. They had white linen napkins folded into an origami design and chandelier lighting. The ambience was quite impressive. Ok, enough about the décor. Let’s critique about the food. We ordered the following: –E san sausage for appetizer Had unique hint of lime which enhanced the flavor –Panang curry with chicken A little on sweet side but overall chicken was tender with right amount of spices –Pad thai with shrimp It was ok except for sweetness. Just add a splash of lime and chili sauce to balance it out. –Spicy angus beef salad Choice cut beef with romaine lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, cilantro tossed in a lime dressing. Notable dish was excellent. Friendly customer service. One downfall was the amount of time it took for the food to be served. I guess I shouldn’t complain because the food was fresh and made from scratch. We may try this spot again if the Thai cravings recur!

This is easily my favorite place to get Thai food in Orange County. The restaurant is a mom & pop joint — small, well decorated and packed with locals during prime meal times. Silk Thai is located in a strip mall so there’s plenty of parking and you can run errands before/after your meal. Service is a bit slow but the quality of the food will make up for it. I fell in love with their pad see ew and their duck curry. What phenomenal flavors! The food came out piping hot and packed with proteins. I wish the portion sizes were larger but I’m not sure if it’s because the portion sizes were a bit on the smaller side or if the food was just so fantastic that I wanted to overeat. Probably a combination of both. Silk Thai is now my go-to Thai restaurant. YUM! Support local!
