Sylvia and ngoc are incredible hair stylists. Both pretty much get how I want a specific hair style done. Everyone is incredibly nice and I’m always satisfied whenever Sylvia and Ngoc fix my hair

I’ve been going to the Supercuts for numerous years because of the quality of service and skill of the stylists. I often bypass other Supercuts and higher and barbershops specifically to get my haircut at this location. However, recently I have noticed many of the stylists I go to have left for other salons or quit altogether, and the level of service at this location has suffered greatly as a result. I have since learned this location was sold to new owners who obviously have no sense of respecting the longstanding, loyal customers who frequent this location, or the stylists for that matter. On my last visit I got a sense that not many of the employees enjoy working there and they are forced to «up sell» their customers on styling products. I was essentially escorted to the shelves to view their products even though I didn’t need anything. It’s obviously a new requirement they have… It’s also harder to get an appointment to see a preferred stylist because their hours are constantly changing and unpredictable. When you do show up there’s often a wait to sign in since they have no receptionist and the stylists have to pull double duty to put you on the list. As a result of this ownership change I followed one of my favorite stylists to another salon down the street on Beach Boulevard where many of the original Supercuts stylists now work and still offer excellent service and haircuts.

Sad to say, after 7 years of coming here, this place is no longer the same. The appointment system never worked out correctly, the atmosphere is somber with stylist playing musical chair, high turnover rate and prices have gone up. I’ll take my 7 years of business elsewhere. Just like the rest of the reviews, I believe it’s all in the new management team… why fix something that’s not broken!!!

just moved to the area & needed a trim. went in & Erick was my guy. he was kinda quiet & sweet & had a cool look. more importantly he took his time & gave me a great hair cut! usually super cuts is all about quantity, get em in & out… got a great cut from a good guy & will definitely go back to him! thanks Erick!!!

This place is fast and efficient. When you walk in a there are a lot of people waiting, don’t fret because these ladies are machines! It is almost too fast as my haircut was average. I felt like she rushed my cut. Either way it got the job done.

This place went downhill QUICK!!! I guess other reviews were right about the new management. The gal who answered phones and greeted people is gone, no decorations, and price is jacked up. Really? Greedy and dumb? It’s one thing they kept everything but charged more to maintain it, but they made all the wrong decisions. I feel bad for the staff because they are all great, a high school diploma would tell you this is bad decisions in a heartbeat. I guess I am yet again looking for another haircut place.

New owners — your changes are not for the better! I’ve used this location for over 20 years. I moved, but have gone back because I get a good haircut, the price is reasonable and it has a pleasant atmosphere. Today? Not so much. There is no receptionist, so each stylist answers the phone, while cutting. They also ring up the customers, thereby losing cutting time. Previously, it was always decorated for the season, but now it’s stark and cold feeling. The new manager was in the back or I would have asked why no holiday décor. It was getting very busy when I left, but the new manager/stylist was nowhere to be seen. They have raised prices as well. I’ll give it another shot because I like the haircutters, but I don’t like giving business to someone who seems not to care about customer satisfaction.

I love the stylist and receptionist there. it’s the only reason why I always come back. I came in to get my haircut and couldn’t help but notice a new & obnoxiously loud stylist, whom later I was informed is «the new manager,» and she was very loud throughout the whole haircut! I wanted to walk out. I like to get my haircut in peace without feeling obligated to get extra services or products. All the products and services prices have sky rocketed! If anyone needs a haircut I suggest a different more relaxed place.

Well I have been getting my haircut there for 13 years and have never had a bad word to say about the shop or the wonderful stylist working there… until it just came under new ownership that is. The stylist are still great but the new owners destroyed the place in a matter of days.(literately the first week) They blocked the online service, raised all the prices, refuse to have any deals on products, cut the staff so now there are days with no receptionist. Great business practice! that now causes many double and triple bookings and general chaos and stress for the stylists and customers. I sat there and watched the stylists try to do their normal jobs while running around having to book appointments, cash out and even leave clients to answer the darn phone. People come in and there isn’t even anyone at the desk to greet them. The new owners also banned all holiday decorations and basically just made the salon a miserable place to be. I can’t help but feel bad for the employees there and what they must be putting up with. There is definitely a different vibe and feeling there now. If your thinking about going to a Supercuts I recommend finding a different location. I’m sure there are much more client and employee friendly ones in the immediate area. Or better yet, go there to at least support the stylists but that’s it. Get your products and extra services elsewhere. I’d hate for the bad ownership to hurt the livelihoods of the employees.

I used the app, and got a confirmed 1:30 appointment with Thu. She has been cutting my hair for over 20 years. When I arrived at 1:15, they told me they were call-ins ahead of me and I could not get in till 5:30PM or 6:00 pm. I’m thoroughly confused. When the app first came out, I had to wait in the lobby there for two hours because there were people checked in with the app. Now, I use the app, and people are calling in and bumping the app. I have the screen shot that shows I was confirmed for 1:30. Who’s paying for my wasted time and gas? If you want my opinion, which you probably don’t, I think this store is greedy. For a while you tried to charge us extra to pick a stylist. I’m not sure why the app came out, but it’s not working. GOBACKTOFIRSTCOMEFIRSTSERVE. No call aheads. One last thing, turn your AC a bit lower on hot days. It sucks to sweat while getting a haircut. My business there is not convenient any longer. I go because Thu does such a great job. I have a family of four and we all go here. Treat her well because her customers will go wherever she is. If things don’t change its just not worth the frustration. I’m sorry if this is rude, but you wasted my time and I’m frustrated with your broken system.

How’s this! the sign on the door says business hours Saturday 8−7pm, I walk up to the door at 6:52pm and it’s locked, the cashier is counting money and there is 1 stylist finishing up a guest. The cashier looks at me and says were closed then turns me away??? I’m confused given the fact that I’m willing to spend my money at supercuts, this particular shop is where I come every month with my son and spend 50 – 75 dollars $$$$ you do the math. Anyways I’m sure the owner will be pumped to know that his people are turning away business, not only that repeat clientele. This makes no sense to me.

This specific super cuts is just terribe. I came in with a friend one day to ask a question about what could be done with her hair after a coloring problem and the customer service we experienced was downright rude. After a battle of trying to talk to someone about what could be done with no help whatsoever, we said«well just go find someone else who will help» with a rude response of «yea maybe you should.» That is not a professional way to talk to someone and I am appaled that they had the odacity to speak to us like that. I can assure you, that I will not ever be returning to this location again and refuse to have any other friends go to this location. Work on your customer service skills and start acting professional you rude people.

This location has a general manager who genuinely wants to give back to her community. My son’s 12U travel baseball team is doing a casino bus fundraiser. She donated free haircut cards to our on board raffle. I came in with a donation request letter during one of my son’s haircut appointments and she came out to greet me, shook my hand, thanked me for my business as well as thanked me for thinking of them for the raffle. I’ve been to this place twice now to get a hair cut, and I haven’t been disappointed yet. Both times the stylists were very kind and helped me figure out what I wanted to get done. The most recent time that I’ve gone in, it was only like a five minute wait which isn’t to bad at all for a hair cut joint. I had my hair cut by a girl named Amber,(I think), and she was wonderful. I just told her that I wanted it short on the sides and a little longer up top, but just to do what she thought would look good. She talked to me and was telling me some suggestions and it turned out looking great. If you want a hair quick hair cut then this is the place you should go. Ignore the one star ratings because a lot of them are just about people complaining that you can set an appointment up online. It’s 2015, get over it.

I have been going to this particular Supercuts since 1997, and Thu has been cutting my hair exclusively since 1998. I won’t go anywhere else. Occasionally(If Thu is on vacation) I will have one of the other stylists cut my hair, and I’ve never walked away disappointed. Everyone at this Supercuts is amazing, and as friendly as they come. The receptionist(Rosa) is awesome. She is extremely helpful, and I’ve never witnessed her having a bad day. She always answers the phone with a pleasant voice, and is extremely helpful when providing information on the stylist’s schedules. A+++++ for this business…

I used to go to this salon all the time on weekdays, but come in after 6 and it can be a nitemare. The staff has terrible time management. The last time I went in for a cut, I was told there would be a 45 minute wait. I told them I would come back then, but actually got back in 35 minutes… only to wait another 45 minutes. What was their excuse? ‘People were in line’ in front of me. Absolutely ridiculous. The other mistake I made was breaking my rule that only a stylist with bangs is allowed to cut mine, but because they wouldn’t let me choose my stylist so close to closing(again, their fault), I got someone who cut them MUCH too short. You get what you pay for. I’m done with this place.
