Came here to kill time with my friend since they were repairing her phone at the Sprint store. The sprint rep recommended this place since we were undecided on where to eat, very good recommendation. My friend was very satisfied with her carne asada burrito & I was very satisfied with my shrimps green enchiladas. The food was great & they were very attentive. Also, 10% off for new customers when you check in on Unilocal :)

It was a nice and cozy place. The food was good and the service from the waitress was nice. 3 stars because it was outdated and seemed kind of run down from the outside and because they do not offer refills on drinks. otherwise the prices are ok.
Forgot to mention we got 10% discount with Unilocal check-​in. :)

I found myself in Huntington Park visiting a client and stopped at this restaurant. I found the food and service to be great. I had the steak and enchilada. One of the best enchilada’s I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back.

After having a good meal and we got the check rather quick we joked around how they wanted to kick us out and we where laughing about it. Never did we expect what was about to happen next, as were sipping our micheladas and eating the chips the waitress comes and takes our chips. Very rude.!!

I’m always on the lookout for some local, Mexican food. Well, I found some in Huntington Park. Casa Luz is a wonderful, family owned restaurant and has so much great stuff on the menu, but the best thing I ate while I was here was the homemade salsa. Oh MY, it was spicy and it was wonderful! I put it on my cheese enchiladas and I was very happy. A great find!

My favorite Mexican Restaurant… CASA LUZ. Food is very good. Service is awesome bc it’s family owned. My favorite breakfast there is the Chilaquilas con Huevos… Lunch/​dinner hands down the Molcajete and try the Flan (they make it there). Everything was yummy. Oh and chip are the best too.

Been living in LA/​Huntington Park my whole life and had never visited this place. I took my parents to a doctor’s appointment nearby and decided to give this place a try. I’m sure glad I did! Food was delicious and service was attentive. I ordered the combination # 1, cheese enchilada, beef crispy taco, and chile verde burrito. I was so hungry that I immediately dug in and forgot to take a picture but no worries, I will definitely be coming back and will post some pictures then :-) We had flan (made in house) and the cheesecake for desert. Yum! Almost forgot, if you check in with the Unilocal app while there, first timers get a 10% discount.

I love that it’s a mom and pop type of restaurant. Family own so you always see the familiar faces. I love places that you go to and they remember you. It show good sign of attentive. There a woman there by the name of Sonia. She is super friendly and nice. She always so helpful if you need anything.
I can’t tell you what I usually order, since it’s very random. But nothing I order has ever been terrible. Thanks Unilocaler for your recommendation!

We have been to this place 10 times or so in the past 7 years. Food is good.
I usually get the burrito, but this most recent time I had their fried steak from their lunch menu. It was good. Staff was always very attentive.

Casa Luz has been around since I was a child. I loved coming here and ordering the quesadillas. As I grown Ive become more experimental. I love their carne asado tortas. They taste great. The owners are so friendly. Everyone is so amicable and courteous. The prices are pretty steap. But I dont mind, as they give excellent customer service.
ambience is very relaxing, small but beautiful when you look at the aztec, maybe mayan? Mural on the wall. Ive been obsessed with that painting since I was 5! Still beautiful since the first day I gazed at it.
so I would advice my fellow Unilocalers to give this place a try. of course, when you come during busy hours, you might experience not so great customer service, but thats any business. Some customers are just picky.
