La unica razon por la que eh seguido iendo es porque a mi esposa le gusta la sopa de gallina india que asen alli de lo contrario por mi no regresaria por el mal servicio de 2 tipos que toman la orden. Pero ya no voy a seguir iendo, nunca pueden atender bien los tipos no mejoran su actitud. La ultima ves que fui nos vio llegar el tipo el mas chapparro medio calvo y no se molesto ni en llevar el menu para pensar que ordenar, teniamos hambre y le dije que estabamos listos para tomar la orden y en muy mal tono me dijo: TE PUEDES ESPERAR. No es la primera ves que tienen un pesimo trato, y por ellos ya no vuelvo a ir; de lo contrario si seguiria iendo porque la comida no esta tan mal. Ni propina le deje por el pesimo servicio.

This is only phone experience. I called them to order some pupusas and they did not answer my call. It was around 8:00 pm. I thought they might have been busy. Then the lady answer the phone a second time, and I told her my order and she said they were closed. The signs say at 9:00 pm they close and in Unilocal says at 9:00 pm as well. She said she will not take my order because they where close to closing since it was 8:15. Horrible customer service. Never again ordering from this place. GET YOUR HOURS STRAIGHT!

I’ve been coming here since I was maybe 3 years old. This place is the best. Better than any other pupusa place I’ve been to.
Love coming with my family. It’s tradition for us to come on someone’s bday.

Hay un lugar nuebo humtigton park que ricas pupusas pero las meseras son fatales mucho tienpo para traer la comida deberian de poner tostaditas para calmar el hanbre por eso les doy una estrella

Un mal servicio después de varios años de ser clientes, una mesera de lentes sin educación que Hasta el café nos tiro en sima y ni se disculpo y luego la orden aquivocada y cuando se le dijo enojada y nunca trajo la orden correcta y en la cuenta cobrando todo muy mala experiencia pero luego se ve que cuando no está el dueño hacen lo que quieren sin pensar que de los clientes depende su trabajo

Best Salvadorian food I’ve tasted outside of El Salvador! The restaurant is very clean and the owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend the pupusas. They are so good I travel about 20 miles from my house to get some of that deliciousness!

Clean, quiet spot. Fast service. The experience was better than the pupusas. I would eat here again, pupusas I would rate. 4 stars. Everythjn else looked good.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for decades! I must add that the quality of the food has gone down some, but given the many pupuserias I have visited, this one is one of the best. Yes the restaurant itself lacks any type of atmosphere and hasn’t been updated for years, but I feel that the food makes up for it. We have stopped eating in and only order for to go. My favorite is the pupusas revueltas and their «ensalada» fruit drink. Also their curtido is my favorite, I can eat it all day! My family and I have never gotten sick from eating their food and from my experience, only a few times has the food been a bit bland. And yes, the quality of customer service isn’t the best I have experienced but since I always go with my mom, she handles them (I guess it takes a fellow Salvadorian to do so!) and makes sure that our order is correct and well portioned. Prices have gone up, but in my opinion, they don’t seem unreasonable.

Best pupusas in the area. It’s a little dirty inside but it only adds to the authenticity of the location.

The food is good, the place is really disgusting. I don’t know when was the last time they clean this place. The dining area is extremely dirty, I can’t imagine how is inside where they cook.

Honestly one of the beast places you can get pupusas. I came to this place for over ten years straight but ever since I moved up to the Bay Area I haven’t found a place quite like it!
Their pupusas revueltas are sooooo good! I definitely recommend those if you are a fan of pork! Also their fresh waters are made to perfection! The service was not bad but the wait time was a tad bit long.
Overall, a great place to get some delicious Salvadoran food!

I buy food here for the people I work with. I love their Pupusas & Service. I call it in an hour before just to give them time to do their stuff. totally understanble from the other comments about service but in their defense the restaurant is always full of customers & to be honest Salvis (no offense) can be rude most of the time. I’ve been a witness of how some customers are rude to the lady/​guy at the front counter and it’s not cool.

The Pupusas here are good. They aren’t as good as mom makes but they satisfy the craving. The Tamales de Elote con frijoles y crema are great! Pastelitos de Carne or ok they have to much achiote for my liking. As another reviewer has stated costumer service is bad. If you are planning on eating here for lunch call in your order otherwise you’ll never make it back in time. They could have better service but the food is good and authentic so I am willing to overlook that.

I’ve been coming to this place for a couple years now. It’s great! But it has its downfalls. First, the food is authentic and tastes very good. The biggest problem is the service. It’s horrible! You’ll probably be waiting for a while for service even on a slow day. Some of the staff seem to not care for customer service.
You’ll be better off ordering take out since you’ll enjoy the food and don’t have to put up with the bad service. Just make sure they have your order correct. One time I had to go all the way back to return an order given to me that was meant for another customer. The owner said, «sorry,» then made me wait to cook my food. He never offered anything for free or seem to care that I had to come all the way back or have to wait again for their mistake. Again, BAD customer service! or else this would’ve had 4 or 5 stars.
Other than that, the food tastes delicious!

This is my favorite Salvadorian restaurant in the world. I have been coming here all my life. Their pupusas are delicious, they even have vegetarian pupusas. I suggest you get a revuelta pupusa, which contains pork, cheese, and beans. Oh and they also have great tasting plantains! I do suggest you take your food to go because their service is not the best. They have no free refills, which is totally uncool for a restaurant. Other than that, make sure you stop by because this place is authentic!
