I walked in here for lunch today a bit after 2. Nobody was waiting in line, there were only a couple people eating there. I walk up to the counter and the cashier looked at me, didn’t greet me, turned around and started talking to the cook. After about 3 minutes, she then turns to me and asks for my order. The only reason I even came here is because I was craving spam musubi, so I ordered it, and was met with «we don’t have any spam.» How does a hawaiian restaurant not have spam? Hell, there’s a super market like 2 blocks away, take your fat, lazy booty on the heel toe express and go get some! I just left, and as I was leaving, I was met with the emptiest apology ever. Your experience may differ, but judging from all the bad reviews (I know, I shouldn’t have gone based on them but I was craving SPAM!), it’s probably best to go further down the road to Ohana or Ono.

Had the katsu chicken nd grilled chicken lunch combo. The katsu chicken was okay, the grilled chicken had no flavor and the macaroni salad taste like I was eating a cloud (No flavor) the menu looked good, but I think that’s where it stops, my 2nd time here, thought I’d give it another chance. Don’t think I would be back again. Maybe some basic seasoning and basic cooking skills are needed

This is my first time at this so called A restaurant, first impression was great the place look very nice, but when it came down in ordering, I had ask for a certain item in the menu and they responded with «oh we don’t have that «, so I ask if I can get bubba tea and again I get a respond that they did not Have it, so I pull to the side and let a friend order they didn’t have what he wanted, I finally chose the bento chicken for 6 $ and man was it awful, the vegetables taste frozen, the chicken taste light they just warmth it up, I mean if you come to spend some money you would like to be inform what is not available, I had my hopes up to eat a certain food to be let down and force to eat something that looks like you can pick up at any am pm franchise or 7/​11, next time I’ll stay with wabba grill for the rice and chicken, but the good thing about this place is writhin budget so that anyone can afford it, nice vibe, but not for me, on to the next place …

This place is overall pretty awesome. The food is delicious, the ambience of the place is neat, but my only complaint is the employees. And by employees I mean the cashier and one of the cooks that are ocasionally there. The cashiers attitude is pretty unwelcoming and emotionless. She also looks like she thinks shes above everyone else. If you come and eat here you’ll instantly know who im talking about. But besides that, 10⁄10 would recomend.

I called and ordered my food and the lady on the phone was very nice and said it was going to be ready in 10minutes. As soon as I got there my food was already nicely packed. The order was correct and everything smelled delicious! Food is cheap and very good! I would definitely come back!

The food I ate was not good. When I walked in I found the food selections odd. I saw lo mein, shrimp with garlic, salmon, and tilapia, not typical Hawaiian BBQ. I ordered the chicken Katsu, it came with cabbage salad with I think was ranch dressing, the macaroni salad was cold in which I think they just added macaroni to a potato salad, and some version of an egg drop soup. The whole thing was bland and the chicken wasn’t cooked all the way! After an hour, I still feel queasy from the food I ate. This was my first and last time visiting this place.

The worst customer service ever… DO NOT COME HERE… ive never been here and the cashier is so rude. I jus asked a question n I explained that I have never been here b4 n she replied, you dont need to speak to me in that way… lol huh? What way? So I jus lost my appitite. They don’t accomidate to your needs. THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. SO I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place at all. if I could I would give them no stars!!!

WTF is this place? Chinese or Hawaiian? Why there is Chinese Chow Mein and Kung Pao Chicken on the menu? Ordered the Loco Moco was very nasty and there were so many people working but still take forever to make the food. I really don’t recommend come to this place because I can’t find any REAL Hawaiian dish here and they should name it Hali Hali Chinese Grill instead.

Love the Orange Chicken Bowl, Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, Shrimp Rangoon’s (Cream Cheese & Shrimp), even the Imitation Crab Meat soup is really good!

Food was really low grade. Be warned, If you’re an L&L fan PLEASE DO NOT «try» this place. I had the #13 Half chicken & Half Beef combo plate. It was not great at all. The chicken was really soft like it was baked not grilled, gross texture. Didn’t taste well. The beef wasn’t that thin-​sliced delicious treat I’m used to. Just was some small cut prices of steak I suppose. Appearance wise it’s an ok place, definitely had me believing the food was good. SIKE! Never again! Sticking to L&L Hawaiian BBQ where it never disappoints. And beware of this places «Mac salad» that has potato in it.

The food I got here was really bad! I ordered the «shrimp cheese wonton» and a salad. I normally love those high fat cream cheesy wontons but these were awful. Obviously straight out of the freezer, they were still cold in the middle and were not even crispy at all. I felt kinda sick by the time I finished them. I should have sent it back. The salad was HUGE but it wasn’t very good: just iceberg lettuce and some sad, dried-​out vegetables. There weren’t too many other restaurants open at 8pm (not sure why… isn’t that normal eating out time?) so it was nice that this place was, and my boyfriend liked the meat all right. I definitely would have had a much better impression if my food has been served hot!

If I could rate this place a 3.5 I would.
The food was 4.5 stars. I love Hawaiian food and these folks really did it right, with the exception of the macaroni salad. Instead of the traditional macaroni salad served with an ice cream scoop all by itself these folks combined macaroni salad with potato salad. Yuk! I guess some people like the combination of the two but I happen to despise potato salad and would have appreciated a choice between macaroni salad, potato salad or neither. Certainly not both.
This place went from 4.5 stars to 3.5 stars because of the restroom. The restrooms were deplorable. There was graffiti on the door, on the trash can and even on the ceiling.
If this place cleaned up back of house they could have a nearly perfect review.
