I don’t see how anyone can say something bad about this place. It’s a plain simple beef bowl, chicken bowl, or salmon bowl AND they offer white or brown rice. Front cashiers are super nice. Never had an issue…

Ok enough, My mind needs to rest. This place is good. Eat here, you’ll live longer or something for a healthy choice. I highly doubt you’ll be disappointed with anything you choose.

Sadly this is my first Unilocal review. I felt like I had to inform people about this location. My review is self explanatory after viewing the uploaded pictures. Please double check your chicken if you eat at this place.

I love this location. Christina and Julie were very attentive and knowledgeable about their product. They were both very patient with me given I was asking a lot of questions. It was a good experience and food was delightful. I will absolutely recommend this location to friends and family

I come a lot to this waba for lunch… and they are very friendly specially the cashier… I like the way it smells and its always clean the employees are always cleaning the dinner and patio I do recommend this place…

I’m a big waba grill fan, cashier was nice. But when I got my order (it was too go), I ordered the half and half bowl. I got home and found out they gave me a chicken bowl wtf. Instead of calling them to complain I decided to write a review here since I was already far from the restaurant… disappointed. also the sauces were horrible, never coming back to this location.

the food was not tasty, the lines were long… and the place smells like a dirty restroom

Around 6 pm tonight I walked in and smelled a clean aroma was very pleasant. There was a young lady mopping but I noticed all the counter tops where clean, lots of sauce bottles available for customers but not a drip or spill.
I walked to the counter top and was greeted with a smile and a great attitude from the guy behind the counter. After ordering my meal without buying a drink he handed me a cup and told me get something to drink while waiting.
Once getting home and eating my food, a few grains of rice were hard and a little slickly but good overall and walking into waba I had no intentions on writing a review but my experience with the man behind the counter going the extra mile and making my night was well worth the review.

This restaurant is in the old Roma Joe’s joint that we used to frequent. This is our safe bet in H.P. if we have visitors at the plant and we don’t know what to get.
Pros:
1) I always have their Chicken bowl. It is delicious, healthy and pretty filling.
2) The employees here are industrious, and try to provide the best service to customers.
3) You are in and out of the restaurant in matter of minutes be it cashier order carry out or phone in order carry out. Leaves us with adequate time to enjoy food during lunch break.
Cons:
1) Parking could be a little problematic during peak lunch time?

I really can’t rate this company higher than 2-​stars. The food isn’t bad and I appreciate the healthier alternatives but I’m not a fan of the taste of their meals.

I love food that’s healthy, fast, and cheap. I’ve been coming here alot, so much so that the friendly staff now know my «usual.»

I could eat here everyday. yum.

2 days ago, headed over to this place for lunch during lunch break for change of scenery. This place is nicer and cleaner compared to the Alameda location as one of the co-​workers pointed out. Nothing too special about this place, never been here before, but had a nice and simple meal.
Food: Even though there was a decent-​sized crowd lining up, the line went by quickly and I didn’t even have enough time to decide what I wanted to order. Prices vary from $ 5 – 7, so nothing too pricey. Selection varies from bowls to plates with your choice of chicken, beef, salmon, and shrimp. You can add on sides and brown rice for an additional $ 0.45. I’m so glad that brown rice is always an option now! I refrained from eating white rice for the past few years and now I have no cravings for it. Also, no minimum charge for using credit cards. Another plus!
Service: The cashier was nice and friendly, seemed like she liked her job here!
Not likely that I am coming again because I can cook this type of food myself, but recommended for others who want Chinese fast food.

Really great customer service. The cashier was friendly and helpful. Parking was not a problem and the restaurant is roomy. I ordered a chicken and combo plate and the order, which were tasty, was ready in a few minutes. The place is clean, including the ladies room, which is a big plus in my book.

First time here, had a healthy salmon bowl, plenty of parking is a plus!

Go to this place wayyyyyyyy too much.
Good healthy and cheap. Can’t get enough of the sauce. Gets really crowded at lunch at times.
Chicken is juicy. I always go without sauce with white rice and green onions.

I read someone’s review commenting on how hot the chicks are who work here. Well, that does nothing for ME, but I will say they are always incredibly friendly, efficient, fast and even recognize my voice when I call in my phone order. Kudos!
I’d eat here everyday if I could. I love the combo plate with chicken, steak and rice. Add some hot sauce to the mix and it’s da bomb (do people still say that?).
The countertops are white and always spotless. For the amount of sticky teriyaki sauce that passes from the grills to the customers, you’d think there would be remnants and splotches of spilled mess. Never. They run a very clean joint, which is RARE for this part of town. Parking is often a challenge, but go early and beat the noon rush.
Waba Grill is what Yoshinoya wishes it could be.

A came here and got the shrimp bowl. It was good and the teriyaki has great flavor, but a little on the small side. And for the price, I expected more. Service was friendly and the place was very clean.
And the best part… they’re not that busy. So no waiting. lol

I love Waba in Walnut –this location does not do Waba justice.
The chicken is a little dry, the beef is a little hard, the vegetables a little under cooked. and overall, just NOT amazing.
However, if you are craving teriyaki flavored chicken or beef, I would still recommend this place! It’s a healthy alternative to all the greasy Mexican food around town.
I recommend the half and half veggie bowl with brown rice and half an avocado on top ;)
