located in the saks at the walt whitman mall, i was surprised to learn their haircuts are reasonably priced. my appointment was booked on the fly without having knowledge of their stylists, but I was pleased with the cut marisa gave me. she took the time to assess my hair before it was washed and made a great recommendation on what would work for my face. she advised me on how to get a better blowout without damaging my hair and without giving me the hard sell on their featured products. i liked that it didn’t have the chaotic feel of your typical high-​end salon (but maybe that’s because i booked it during my lunch hour on a weekday).
