I’m puzzled by the good reviews for this place. The coffee isn’t very good and the service is excruciatingly slow. I stopped in a few times hoping for improvement, but saw none. The last time I was there, I was the only person on line and it took nearly 20 minutes to get two lattes. I just don’t get it.

Good coffee shop and a nice alternative to Starbucks. The sign on the outside is for Ideal Cheese Shop.

Stopped by earlier today with a friend and LOVED the coffee. I opted for the medium brew and — wow. I’m very picky about coffee, and I was more than pleasantly surprised by this. I’m usually a light-and-sweet sort of girl, but I was already halfway through drinking it before I realized I didn’t even need to add any milk or sugar! It was just that great. I’ll be back, for sure!

this place rocks, i wish i woulda known about it sooner. coffee and espresso are fresh and delicious. up until a few days ago i’ve been drinking starbucks. this place is a whole nother level, it conquers what coffe and espresso are supposed to taste like! i can’t even compare. if you like coffee/espresso, do yourself a favor and get over here. chelsea at the counter was extremely helpful too regarding all the different beans they have as well as giving me advice on how to brew correctly.

Georgios Huntington is an amazing coffee spot. I’ve been a fan of Georgios Farmingdale for a long time now and the coffee at Huntington is just as good. If you like coffee, do yourself a favor and check this spot out.

No longer will you see STARS from spending your BUCKS on joe. Finally, decent coffee has arrived on Long Island. For coffee and espresso drinks, go to Georgio’s all the time. No — every time. Georgio roasts his own beans in his shop in Farmingdale. If you go there, chances are you’ll meet him. The Huntington location is in the awesome Ideal Cheese & Wine café, right on Main Street. You can get a macchiato. A real one, no caramel in sight(a «caramel macchiato» has nothing to do with the real article). Yes, the word«caramel» is written on the drink menu, in a font size reduced like a plaintive sigh. Pretend like it’s not there. It’s clear that Georgio cares — the flat white is on the menu prominently. And the brewed coffee — the roast is so perfect, the notes complex, this coffee doesn’t need sugar. Do yourself a favor — skip the sugar. Sip the coffee slowly, and appreciate what chain competitors do not bring to your palate. Add sugar if you must, but at least try the coffee first without it. Only locally, expertly roasted coffee can taste like this. Finally, the beans — the beans are not cheap, but I’m intrigued by them. Last I visited, Georgio’s most expensive coffee was $ 100/pound. What could it taste like? I can only shake my head in wonder. Don’t worry — he also has much more reasonable priced beans. Look, unless you’re familiar with the likes of Stumptown, Blue Bottle, or Intelligentsia, you have not had coffee like this. Trust me. I drive 30 minutes one way for this coffee, and damn it’s worth it. Yes, I drink as much chain coffee as the next guy, and I always add sugar. But Georgio’s — this is the real deal. Be here.

Finally there is a place to get superior coffee in Huntington village. While the Farmingdale location has the charm of the Probat roaster and sacks of beans lined up by the bar, the Huntington location is sleek and sophisticated. For those unfamiliar, Georgio and Lydia source the absolute highest quality beans in the world and expertly roast them at their Farmingdale store. In Huntington, you get to enjoy their great coffee in a bit more of an upscale environment — located in the front of the Ideal Cheese shop. There are multiple brewing techniques available, including the pour over and trifecta the last time I was there. Freshly roasted beans are also available for purchase as well. If you like good coffee, come here. It will not disappoint. Your biggest problem will be that after you have had Georgios coffee, you will not be able to enjoy your usual cup of coffee.

Georgio’s in Huntington serves the same drinks, etc. Using the same rare coffees that he roasts at the Farmingdale location. Espresso, lattes, cappuccino, and more. You can have it there at the coffee bar or take out. This is the perfect addition to Ideal Cheese café & wine bar where the food is excellent. They take coffee to the extreme and reward the farmers they visit for their effort. Beyond fair.

This place is amazing. Been a fan of Georgio’s coffee for years, his farmingdale location has been a saturday staple for months and his new Huntington extension is a welcome location if you are in the area and want quality coffee in the Huntington area. The quality is excellent and the variety of single origin coffee is wonderful.

Finally, finally an artisanal coffee shop in Huntington!!! Georgios shares a spot with Ideal Cheese in Huntington which started out at The Crushed Olive. They are both now in a new location in a really beautiful café. Georgios coffee is the same owner as the Farmingdale location, and boy do they know coffee. OMG this is my new favorite place!!! The people running the shop are really, really nice. I told her what kind of coffee I liked and she gave it to me… a really dark Sumatran, so dark, so rich, so good. I can not wait to go back!!! The serving size was really generous and such a great price, 2 coffees, 1 small and 1 medium, and get this it was $ 3 and change for both. I think I am in love with Georgio.
