Randomly dropped in on a Sunday afternoon while visiting Huntington and had an amazing experience. The quality of the glass collection, firearms collection and other art found in here is really great. I was especially blown away by the conservatory and the incredibly diverse array of plants that they had in full bloom. Somebody really takes care of this place.
As a side note the woods behind the museum have a really beautiful walking trail. Amazing in the fall!

It is such a wonderful thing that this place exists in Huntington. They rotate their art fairly often and feature some pretty cool exhibits.
I wish they had one room consistently dedicated to local artists.

I can’t vouch for their collections, but every small city should have a gallery this well maintained and supported by the population. Worth a visit when in the area.
