A chill, yet intimate atmosphere (date worthy) and gluten free baked goods to boot! I never thought I would find a cute little place like this one in Huntsville. It is super clean. In fact, the staff is stellar. Everyone is helpful and friendly but does not dally on the job. The coffee was perfection. Better than the mint green and white star palace any day.

Please read the reviews for Angels Island Coffee. People who give it 5 stars or 4 stars admit to either not liking coffee or drinking flavored coffee or espresso drinks. Folks are professing this shop to be the best in Huntsville. If this is the case, Huntsville has a pretty sad coffee landscape. Let me be absolutely frank — the Angels Island Coffee espresso is absolute garbage and sewage. Order an espresso drink (unflavored), taste it, and throw it in the trash because trash is where it belongs. The desserts here are decent, and if you pour enough syrup into your espresso-​based drink, you will be alright. But if you are an espresso connoisseur, run as fast as you can or better yet don’t even stop here.
To be fair, I’m not sure there is a decent coffee shop in Huntsville; I’m here for a weekend and so far completely appalled by the espresso I have tasted so far around town.
An espresso revolution occurred in Birmingham, AL, but Huntsville is still stuck in the 20^th-​century Alabama coffee wise. If you want to taste what espresso should taste like, get an Americano or Cortado in Octane located at the Birmingham Westin in downtown Birmingham — that is a 5-​star espresso. Otherwise, go to any other downtown Birmingham coffee shop for a 4-​star espresso.
Let me give you one hint. If you walk into a coffee shop and see styrofoam cups, it’s a 99% guarantee the espresso served tastes like sewage. Not a single self-​respecting coffee shop owner who understands espresso would allow styrofoam cups in his/​her shop. It seems that in Huntsville, styrofoam cups are pervasive in coffee shops, which should tell you everything right there.

I have to say I did enjoy this place and the coffee was good wasn’t sure I would like it cause I live in Nashville and I’m very picky with my food and atmosphere. It is a really neat place and I’m going back now that I’m in Huntsville

I have been here plenty of times and the folks here are always very nice and cheerful. The price for coffee is very reasonable. They have a good variation of flavor and hot/​cold drinks. If there is anything that can be improved it would have to be their cups, there is no logo or marking linking them to their business. When you see a Starbucks cup in the trash you might feel like getting some coffee at Starbucks, but Angles coffee had nothing on the outside of their cups to advertise or let other people know where the great coffee came from.

They are always EXTREMELY slow with their service. Don’t get me wrong, they have great coffee and their employees are very nice, it’s just I don’t enjoy being three deep in line and after 20 minutes only one car has moved. And this isn’t an isolated incident; every time I’ve been there it has been slow, despite NOT being busy. I hope they will work on this and it will end up being a rare occurrence instead of a very common one. I will gladly change my rating when they do.

Love this shop! There sun blast drink is great! You get to choose your flavor so you can shake it up a little. The employees are always so kind. Only complaint I have is that when I go through the drive thru I always ask for no whip but they always put it on there anyways, I understand that most like it but it’d be nice if they listened a little better. Otherwise it’s a great shop!!!

This is my favorite coffee shop in town. I spend way too much time here. Okay… no I don’t! But I do spend more time in this shop than any other in town. Friendly staff, great environment and I love the coffee. My favorite? It’s a toss-​up between a classic caramel macchiato or a «snickerdoodle mocha» (which I order all year ’round.) I’m a big fan of the fresh fruit smoothies too. :) Oh, and the wifi is some of the most reliable I’ve used outside of my own home.

I just stopped in because our building on the arsenal lost power for an hour. I don’t like coffee, so I had them make me a Dingo without the espresso. It was very tasty. The ambiance is very nice, and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone.

I introduced my sister to this place and now every time we go to Huntsville we stop here.

I’ve been coming to Angel’s since 2011 when I used to live in Madison, and I usually return whenever I visit. Without a doubt, the best coffee in the Huntsville area (used to be Kenny Mango’s in Madison). In fact, I would even say that Angel’s is better than Café 153.
First, the drive-​thru is actually reasonable on time when you consider how busy it gets inside. The one downside of the drive-​thru is that upon making that left turn, you’ll find yourself almost in the lane of the back of the building of the adjacent strip mall. Another small downside (and I stress small) is that Angel’s is further down Memorial Parkway than you think. You would hope that it would be closer to the Drake Mall, yet its so-​so.
Now, for the product. Absolutely outstanding! I’ve never had an issue with her coffee assortments, yet here is the thing: she actually gives almost a double the portion size of what is expected. For example, if you get a double expresso at any Starbucks and compare it to Angel’s double expresso, you’ll see a major difference in both quantity as well as price. This is one reason why I keep coming back. And the snacks from the vendor that she is contracted with brings in the freshest brownies and muffins. The brownies are a must-​try. Huge portion size, and succulently moist. Further, if you want a good sandwich or wrap, Angel’s makes a good one. For a coffee place, this alone is a welcome surprise, and reasonably priced.
The WiFi is good, and the décor is quite comfortable. The leather sofas that she has in the front make you want to sit and lounge for hours upon end with a good coffee, snack, Kindle & Ipod playing whatever and without a worry in the world. Huntsville, you have a good one with Angel’s Island Coffee!

I have also come to Angel’s for a lunch a few times. The Angel’s Choice salad is excellent. The vegetables are very fresh and flavorful. I added both chicken and turkey to the salad which was great. It will certainly fill you up for lunch. They have several type of sandwiches and wraps which look good but I am one of those gluten free types so I don’t order those. They look good from what I have seen.

Awesome! Great coffee place, will be back whenever I’m in town. I really appreciated the almond milk option. The store was very cute and relaxing, service was top notch and lattes were excellent!

Awesome service every time! The only coffee shop that my wife and I go to away from home. Fair prices, awesome coffee, if you want an original awesome place to have coffee, this is the place for it. On a hot day a nice «dingo» is the way to go! Enjoy!

Angel’s is officially my favorite coffee shop. They are cheaper than chains (Yeah, Starbucks. I’m talking about you) and the atmosphere is super chill and relaxed. I always get Fiji Tea in the biggest possible size and my total is never more than $ 2.50. I love to hang out with friends here, or just come and study.
If you like super-​sweet drinks remember to get your coffee «Angel Style.»
They also have little punch cards that will earn you free drinks and sandwiches, so if you come here regularly be sure to pick one up.
Also there’s free WiFi.

I always have a good experience at Angel’s Island! My favorite hot beverage to drink year-​round is their white mocha. Today, I tried their veggie wrap on sun-​dried tomato with sriracha sauce for a kick, on recommendation by one of the staff. Fresh ingredients with a burst of flavor. And the delicious savory heat from the sriracha. Yup, I am really glad I decided on this as my supper! Thanks, Angel’s Island, you win again!
