Buyer beware! I would give them a zero if I could. Do NOT believe the hype. Sleep Number beds are just air mattresses that inflate/deflate for firmness/softness. You can do the same thing with a cheap air mattress from the camping section at Wal Mart, and air it up and release the air on your own. The only real difference in a sleep number mattress and a dollar store swimming pool floatie is the individual chambers. Its a total piece of junk, over hyped, over priced. But let me share my experience: We bought a basic Queen size sleep number bed. We tried it at the store and were so excited because we’ve always had used beds given to us for free. My wife was experiencing back pain regularly due to our bed so we decided to buy a new one. It was our first time to buy a bed and I was going to spend $ 1500 on a sleep number. We were told all about the 100 night money back guarantee so the risk seemed minimal. Plus we were confident we’d love it. First night was OK, but it didn’t feel right, nothing like what we laid on at the store. Second night was so bad my wife got out of the bed and slept in the floor. After the 3rd night we called and asked how to go about giving it back. They asked what the problem was and we explained the bed wasn’t like the one at the store. Well turns out the one at the store has a foam pad on it, which they could send to us for the«low» price of $ 200. When we really got upset and said forget it come pick up the bed then they shipped it for free to us. We were told we’d have it the next day. It didn’t come for a week. So by now were at about 10 nights of terrible sleep. Not the best sleep ever, the worst. Worse than our 20 year old hand me down beat up mattress sleep. Anyway we put the foam on. It helped but not a lot. So we decided to give it back and man that was a pain. Granted we tried to do this after 3 days now its about day 14. They agree to get the bed but don’t schedule the pick up for another week or so. We were in a hurry to get the bed out if our house so we could buy another(they conveniently take your old bed). Anyway when we scheduled the pick up we were told the bed would be refunded but not the $ 179.00 set up fee. I still had to pay that, PLUS it would be an additional $ 200 for the pick up. In addition to this I had been convinced to buy a bed cover and that was another $ 150, and I couldn’t get a refund on that. I bought the mattress on sale for $ 699, but with the base and everything else it was going to cost me $ 1500. But now just to sleep on it a few days and give it back was going to cost me nearly $ 600. I complained and called sleep number at least 3 times all they did was give me $ 100 credit on the pick up. I could go on but to say it was a nightmare would be an understatement. DEALWITHSLEEPNUMBERATYOUROWNRISK! BEWARE!

Buyer beware. 30 day in home trial is for the mattress only. Not the adjustable base. If you don’t like the bed they will return it but the $ 2500 adjustable base is yours to keep — for $ 2500. We bought almost $ 1000 worth of cool technology bedding that we could only exchange for other bedding. Highly over priced, cheap quality, and the cool technology is false. If you choose to not listen to me buy some walmart bedding so if you opt to return the bed like everyone else does you will not get stuck with over priced cheap quality bedding. Google«sleep number scam» before you buy. If a $ 3k air mattress and $ 2500 adjustable base is what you are seeking. You have found the right place.
