Such a lovely lady, great home cooked brunch and super clean. She mentioned doing Saturday night dinners, so if you are looking for an evening meal call ahead as that may be an option. The guest rooms were large, cool décor and also exceptionally clean. Close to the bike trail, a bowling alley in an old school(serves food plus a bar that serves food) all in a charming little town.

This B&B is open to the public for breakfast and lunch. On the day we stopped the lunch was chef’s choice. Everyone got the same thing. Do not know if this is normal. We had cheese broccoli soup, slaw salad and a chicken sandwich. Everything was very good. The soup was low salt, most soup have way too much salt. The slaw salad had cabbage, kale and Brussels sprouts with a light dressing. Chocolate cake was included but we were so full that we refused. With coffee the meal was six dollars.

My friend and I stopped by while cycling the Omaha Trail. We were in town for our Air National Guard duty and decided we would ride through the very tiny town of Hustler before completing the last few miles of our ride. Our experience was exactly what we were hoping for. The old, historic building is very well cared for. The atmosphere is immediately relaxing and Susanne, the B&B host, is very sweet. She cooked us breakfast and I felt like I was having a meal at my grandmother’s house, which is a good thing! Five stars all day long. We felt like we had experienced a part of the rural Wisconsin culture that we were hoping to find. Do yourself a favor and book your rooms with Susanne. You will be very glad you did. I hope to visit again very soon.
