This the beast place to get Thai food on Cape cod Massachusetts if you haven’t had good Thai food in a while then come down to the Thai house on Main Street Hyannis Cape cod Massachusetts.

Solid Thai food. A bit cheaper and less tasty than Bangkok Kitchen down the street, but still good. The staff are nice and attentive. As for the building itself it’s not much to look at.

Delicious! I always go here for well priced, and really good Thai food. Make sure to try the pad Thai because it’s really good and they give you an extra large serving. Always bring friends here. And order to go when I’m in a rush. Yum!

Our server was great! Very friendly and offered suggestions. Very accommodating. She was able to allow no spice, egg and fish sauce. She even got another dipping sauce together for my vegetable tempura. She created a soy with ginger sauce instead of the duck sauce with chili peppers. She gave me a sample of the ice coffee when only asked about it. It was sweet a delicious. We got the Thai hot tea, it came with unlimited refills. The food was hot crispy and delicious. We ordered dessert, the fried bananas. Its banana inside a rice wrap and they are fried and served with honey drizzled on top. OMG, where have you been all my life!

I was skeptical of this place. I came to being my parents to the Island Merchant next door, but it’s permanently closed now. As it turns out, I would believe the Island Merchant was passing the food from the Thai House through the wall and serving it to their customers. We had pad Thai, pineapple fried rice and Thai fried rice as well as coconut soup with chicken, fresh rolls and Thai wings. It was phenomenal. The only reason it’s missing the fifth star is that it’s a bit dingy inside and it has no music so we had to talk really quiet.

This is one of our favorite restaurants on the cape. We are local and have had many great meals here. The décor is outdated but the appetizers and many of the dishes are delicious. The cost is reasonable. Great for families that like Thai food. We have four kids and it is their absolute first choice when we go out. It is rarely crowded and the waitstaff is friendly and attentive. I recommend it highly!

Friendly and attentive staff but very outdated restaurant. Hungry after a long beach day my girlfriend and I decided to give this place a try since we love Thai food. We noticed a couple things that need some improvement like; Update Unilocal about the changes in the menu, we checked the menu in Unilocal so we went to this place because we wanted sum tum(papaya salad) we came to realize once seated that the menu is totally different from Unilocal also they didn’t have some ingredients for other dishes therefore they didn’t have the dishes we wanted to try. Overall my experience was mediocre. I would come back and give it another chance in the future. Thank you.

This is one of my local favorites. I always order Crazy Noodles with tofu. The wide rice noodles are just spicy enough and the veggies are varied. My friends have found dishes they like. The décor is improving. I would not go here for a romantic date unless budget was a major concern. The dishes are reasonably priced and they serve beer and wine. Usually I can park on the street. If not, there is a free lot off Main St a block away. Good place. !! Nice staff.

Surprisingly pretty impressed by this place :) We were under the impression that the Asian food here would just be okay but I actually liked their food more than some other Thai restaurants I’ve been to! We got the pad thai combo with dumpling and crab rangoon, basil fried rice, and fried chicken. My pad thai was slightly sweet in flavor and just oily enough for the noodles to not clump together. Chicken was a bit dry though. The fried chicken on the other hand was not dry at all and was actually pretty juicy and flavorful! Definitely recommend that dish. My appetizers that came with the combo though weren’t very great imo. Crab rangoon just wasn’t my thing and the dumplings were soggy and tasteless. My bf’s fried rice was good. Pretty flavorful and good amount of oil. The main reason this place didn’t get an almost perfect score for me was that they didn’t give us napkins or chopsticks to eat our to-go with. Had we not gotten plates and forks from a pizza place we got food from, we wouldn’t have been able to eat at all!

The place was dead when I arrived at 5:30. It’s slow season. But not to worry, the Lad Na was good. I liked that you could order the crispy chicken to give it texture.

Visting Hyannis with my family, so we Unilocaled a decent Thai restaurant with a good price point. Thai House was 3.5 stars and one dollar sign, so we decided to give it a try. I must admit, I can’t say I fully agree with the consensus of the reviewers. We were greeted from across the room by a server in jeans, a t-shirt, baseball hat, and untied high-tops. I am no prude, but I would expect a little better from a host/hostess, regardless of the restaurant. In fact, now that I think about it, the term«Greeting» would probably be a stretch, since he didn’t say more than 10 words during our visit. The only other restaurant guest at the time of our arrival was an elderly woman who was on her third glass of house red wine(no food), and talking to herself the whole time. Despite our slightly odd neighbor, we stayed because we just knew the food had to be good. The décor was definitely outdated but not dirty. However, I found it odd that the paper placemats with the asian drinks dispayed on them were a bit discolored, as if they were old and had been in the sun for weeks. Despite all of this, we were not scared away and still ordered our lunch. The food was good, but not great. I had the Chicken Crazy noodle. Advertised as «spicy», it was tasty but I have to admit I didn’t feel the slightest tingle of spice while eating it. My oldest daughter had the Basil Pad Thai. She enjoyed hers quite a bit. My youngest snacked on spring rolls and dumplings — said they were OK. She gave me her leftovers, and I agreed — both were OK, but not epic. On the plus side, the portion sizes were above average and the prices were indeed very reasonable. We left full and with two doggy bags. If I were a local, or if I visit Hyannis again, I would consider ordering takeout from this place again… but I’m not sure I would dine in a second time.

Food was very good. Prices are even better! If you need a break from all the expensive food around town, this is the place to come. I had the red curry one day and the cashew chicken the next. Both great!

The food is solid and the people who work there are nice. Got the Pad Thai and curry and a Thai Iced Tea and they were all delicious, especially the Thai Iced Tea! The atmosphere is sub-par but the location on Main Street, Hyannis sort of makes up for it?

Cheap and good take out place. Worth what you pay for it(which isn’t a lot) and not more. I don’t suppose there is much more to say about it…

Had the Pad Thai which was really good. Service seemed indifferent though, almost as if our presences was a hassle. We were all drinking water and when my wife asked for a refill, the waitress obliged, but didn’t bother to top off anyone else’s glass. Honestly, it was a little strange as I’ve never seen that happen anywhere else. My glass was less than a quarter full at the time. At the end of the meal when the bill came, she told me, «whenever you’re ready». I inserted my debit card into the holder immediately, but she never came back to pick it up. After about 10 mins, I looked over and saw 3 staff all on their phones texting, so I just decided to walk the bill up to the counter. We all enjoyed the food, but service brings the rating down. I’d rank 2.5 stars if I could.

Wow hard to belive how bed was it, I order a soup with sea food. I asked the waitress if there is any large soup, like in any Thai resturant. she told me they make big soups and they cost dubble than the regular soups. Me and my friend booth order dubble soups, one with shrimp and one with seafood The seafood soup came with 2 small shrimps and one pice of scallop… I asked the waitress if this is the big soup, cuz I got 1 scallop and it was very small. She took my soup and checked how many pieces are there with my spoon! Then she took it back to add seafood into it… The bill was 27 $ with 2WR that we were charge 1.5 for. . I think they charged us for the water … I would nor recommend this place and won’t come back!

Thai House was pretty good. I arrived for lunch and was the only one there. the place is pretty small so I can imagine during the peak busy time of the year here on the cape it could get explosive busy. The lunch special was Pad Thai with your choice of two sides for 8.95 which isn’t bad at all considering the portion of Pad Thai that I got. however the appetizers were very small. The dumplings were flavorful as were the«golden triangles» The Pad Thai itself was kind of bland but I fixed that… I went ahead and dumped the rest of the sweet and sour sauce over it to give it some extra flavor overall I’m giving it 3 stars for now until I can get back in there and try some more things.

Even among the overpriced tourist food traps that litter Main Street in Hyannis, the jewels are out there. Thai House was a terrific find — a nice, clean, casual restaurant with a very pleasant staff serving inexpensive and delicious food. They have an incredible combination plate(served all day long) that features an entrée and two appetizers for a very reasonable price of $ 8.95. The entrees you can choose from are Pad Thai Chicken, Tofu Ginger, Chicken basil, Chicken Red Curry, Chicken Prikh Khing, Chicken Lo Mein, Chicken Thai Fried Rice, Cashew Chicken, and Mixed Vegetable Tofu. You can pick two appetizers from a line-up of Crab Rangoon, Dumplings, a Thai Roll, a Golden Triangle, Fried Tofu, or Thai Wing. I had the Chicken with red Curry and chose a Thai Roll and dumplings for my sides. The dumplings were very good, moist, tender and very tasty. The curry was excellent — crisp veggies, excellent brown rice, delicious sauce, and well cooked chicken. We also ordered a Pad Thai Combo plate and a small appetizer sampler of Chicken Satay, fried tofu, thai roll, dumpling, golden triangle, crab rangoon, shumai, chicken wing and shrimp in blanket. This came with three dipping sauces, a sweet sauce, a peanut sauce, and a soy sauce. Everything was cooked to perfection. This was very good food at a very reasonable price.

I was in Hyannis for a conference and decided to get an early dinner both for the sake of my growling stomach and to let Boston rush-hour traffic die down. My handy Unilocal app told me that Thai House was nearby, open, and affordable so I decided to give it a whirl. I was the only customer in the restaurant, awkward! Granted 4:45 p.m. on a Monday is rarely a bustling time anywhere! The restaurant was small, clean, and very casual. I sat down at the table of my liking and poured over the menu. Mango chicken sounded good, as did tamarind tofu, and basil pad thai. I ended up going for the basil chicken combo, it was a deal at $ 9 for an entrée, rice, and two appetizers(I got brown rice, crab rangoon, and golden triangles). The food was yummy, the vegetables tasted fresh, there was an appropriate amount of heat, and the service was impeccable, like I had my own personalized kitchen and wait staff… Oh. I did!

We were visiting Hyannis and looked online for a Thai Restaurant. We weren’t very hopeful, but we did find Thai House. We were expecting maybe some decent noodles and some edible curry. We were pleasantly suprised! The Crazy Noodles were really good, they were well cooked with lots of veggies! The Red curry with tofu was also good, lots of flavors and good taste. The Fresh Rolls were yummy and completely fresh. Lost a star because we did order spicy and only got mild, so if you like it spicy be sure to say it loud! :) It also took a little while longer than expected for carryout, but these are only technicalities. It is located in a very non-descript area of town, but don’t be fooled the food is worth a try! Don’t let the locale dissuade you, take a look at the menu and give it a try! :)
