One of the big things that stood out to me with this place is its efficient service (wait time is no longer than 10 – 15 minutes) as the barbers work on appointments only. Wade has cut my hair a number of times now and I must say he is probably one of the best barbers I’ve had. Every barber in the shop is meticulous with their craft to ensure a quality haircut.

So I was on the hunt a DMV barber. One who was versatile and had extreme skills not only with men’s cuts, but with the ladies as well. Anyone who’s been on the same hunt as I was on knows that this isn’t always an easy task!!! I decided to go to Instagram to look for my new barber and I came across Wade. I went to the website and was able to make an appointment for his newest location (in Hyattsville) in a matter of minutes. Parking was easy as there was ample street parking right in front of the shop (Meter parking that is, so make sure you’ve got cash that jingles!).
The shop, although small, was very trendy. I loved the exposed brick and décor. There looked to be about 4 stations for barber/​stylists, which I also loved because I hate being in overly crowded (overly loud) shops. It was a perfect fit. Wade was prompt and didn’t have a long line of people waiting to get in his chair. Once he finished the guy who he was currently in his chair, he was ready for me. This is EXTREMELY important for me, because as someone who truly values their time, I hate to have to wait long periods of time when I already have an appointment. And time is not something that all barbers/​stylists value of their customers.
Once I sat in Wade’s chair, I told him (kinda, sorta) the look I was going for. Even though I wasn’t 100% able to describe it, he nailed it. I was completely satisfied with my cut there. I’ll definitely be back again. If you’re looking for a DC area barber, you should definitely give Wade a call!
