Stopped by for lunch. Was impressed by the décor. Had Chicken Soup over mashed potatoes. Was good, but slightly too wet. Menu was limited.

we tried to eat here Monday July 13,2015. we were very disappointed they had closed early. we tried a week later Monday July 20, 2015 arriving even earlier than last week. we were met at the door by a woman telling us they were closing. when I pointed out it was before the advertised closing time she did not care. I old her I was disgusted as this was our second and LAST attempt to eat there. she lied about closing early! she wasn’t wearing a name tag so I have no idea who she was. we sat in the car and watched her turn all the lights off including the open sign. horrible treatment of us as customers. I would give a zero star review if allowed to do so.

Lori was a very hospitable host who was very proud of her Fresh cole slaw — true it’s still crunchy good to the last bite! The philly cheese steak was also very tasty with snippets of cured roast beef mixed with green peppers and onions ! Tasty indeed!
The restaurant is attached to a motel — but don’t let that scare you off. As they say, it’s what’s on the inside that counts and Lori and her chef are fixing up some great food at the Westside restaurant in Idaho Falls!

Friendly staff. Delicious food! Especially the home baked breads and cinnamon rolls that perfectly compliment their fresh homemade soups and desserts. There is also great variety in their daily specials so there are always tons of options! Love this place! It is a hidden gem!

Not enough bang for the buck.
The food was good but the menu was pretty sparse. $ 8 for a hamburger and nothing else. Chips, fries, or some kind of side item would have made this a more reasonable price.
Chocolate cream pie and coconut cream pie were good as well.
