THE best ice cream and best service ever. The owner taught us about ice cream differences and what to look for. Olympic Mountain’s Ice Cream is so good, he drives a 6 hour round-​trip weekly to stock his store. This hidden gem is in Illwaco on the waterfront between Jesse’s and OleBob’s. He gave us a (much needed) damp washcloth for our son, as well as a free small cone because «a kid needs extra sugar.» We will definitely be back!

Yeah, well umm, I think this place needs to brush up on people skills as well as some restauranteering skills. The overall quality of the food is up, down, up, down…
They are open some days during the warmest and driest summer in 30+ years.
This snack bar is also connected in some way to an employment agency (asap). The lady who runs that is a total work of art. You can find her out in the parking lot defending her right to park in a non-​parking space and making it nearly impossible for those who use the disabled spots to back out. She also likes to walk her little yappy dog (off leash) then she gets all pissed off when it runs up and picks crap with the other dogs. When it shits on the lawn, she just picks up yapper and goes inside (guess it’s our job to clean it up for her).
Want ice cream? Go buy a ½ gallon of ice cream and have some while watching CSI wherever.

Last year I gave this business a five star review. Nate’s is a seasonal business and recently reopened for the 2015 season. Sadly, the quality has fallen off sharply. Menu options are greatly reduced, portion sizes are smaller. No surprise I was the only customer in the shop on a sunny Saturday afternoon.
