Wouldn’t glue my shoes to fix them saying they were beyond repair and wouldn’t sell me the glue to fix them myself. Weird.

When my favorite purse was literally hanging by a string, I took it to Ed’s Shoe Repair. He not only fixes shoes but he can repair purses especially if the zipper is broken. Took my favorite purse in and he fixed my broken purse strap. My purse looked brand new after the repair. His prices are affordable and he does a great job. He only accepts cash and he does speak both English and Spanish. I’ve been coming here for years to have everything from broken heels to zippers fixed and have been very satisfied with the service. It’s not a fancy place but he gets the job done.

I was a bit nervous at first when trying this place, but my shoe repair was simple enough for me to take the risk. Plus, they’re the closest repair shop to me at the moment annnd my mom has been here before and I’m finally realizing she’s right about a lot of things. Mama knows, child! Mama knows! I was very pleased with Ed’s services. I had 2 pairs of heels that needed new bottoms and they now look great for only $ 12. No tax. No gimmicks. Cash only. Ignore the angry reviewer. He does speak English, but it is not his first language. If you speak Spanish(I did) he will of course be appreciative. You can tell he’s the real deal who was around way before the other deals came along and will likely be here when the other deals are gone. I like supporting sole props/businesses like his. They close on 4pm on weekdays and noon on Saturdays, so if your work schedule is a anything like a 9 – 5, you’ll have to factor in being without whatever shoes or jewelry you bring in for at least a week. That’s my only gripe. The customer area/entrance is a tight squeeze and far from fancy, but I’m not there to sip lemonade so, no biggie.

Just need to correct my fellow Unilocaler — Ed does speak english, but spanish is his first language. I have had shoes repaired here over the past few years because of its close proximity to my house. His prices are pretty cheap but his work is not all that great. You get what you pay for. However, I still come to him to get my shoes done if its just a pair im trying to get a few more months out of AND I try to support local IB businesses. If attention to detail is what you need, stay clear of Eds shoe repair. If you want to throw a new bottom on your heel(who look’s at the bottom of your heel anyway) then he’s your guy. As you can see from the pic he left some glue on my choose. Lol
