Magnolias Hair & Nail Salon

I had my haiir done here for a wedding last weekend and they really did a good job. A friend referred me here because she said they were affordable. They were! I called over the phone and they told me that it would be a minimum cost of 45 dollars but it could go up from there. I looked online and didn’t see a lot of reviews but went ahead and made an appointment. The receptionist was nice enough. I gathered some ideas in advance and took them in with me to show the gal. It didn’t take very long to do it and she did do this cute twisty thing with my bangs and then some artsy thing in the back too. It was a little sleek to the scalp and didn’t photograph as well as I’d hoped but I thought looking at it, that it was really pretty. I did get a lot of compliments from the other girls in the wedding. I think that she definitely did her own thing because the photos I showed her look nothing like my hair but it was a nice style and fitting for my dress. I will recommend her to my friends for sure. The total bill only came to 50 dollars and that was nice because my friends told me they spent 80 plus for simple updos at other places. This place is small but has a lot of staff and got me in fairly short notice. The salon was cute, somewhat modern with a small town kind of feel. I will try them again in a few weeks before I go on vacation. This time I will have them do a standard cut and color. I will be sure to update my review afterwards. Overall I think this is a good place and easily affordable. I really appreciate that they were able to get me in without several weeks of botice. I think they also do nails maybe I’ll try that sometime. Oh and they are right off the highway on Imperial Main Street.

Amber has colored, cut, and has done Up dues for me for the past 3 years. She does such a great job and she super funny and always has awesome conversations with you while she at work.

Sharon is the best my mom had her now I go to her for haircuts I consider her a family friend!

I have been going to Magnolias for years. I see Donna for my hair. Totally satisfied. I love the place and everyone is super nice… I would recommend Donna or Christal.

I come here because Susie and Nancy are here. Both of them are amazing stylists whom I have known for several years (20+), and whom I have followed from salon to salon as they have moved. They both keep up on the latest techniques and trends.
The salon itself is average. Making appointments is easy enough, and the staff friendly. Hair products are available, and nail and waxing services are available but I have never used them.

Fantastic prices and great service. I can get the same haircut here for $ 25 that I used to pay $ 70 for in my old salon. Ashley is super nice and does a wonderful job.

Do not book with Jen Crostic. Well known for canceling at last minute

I have been seeing Shae Carroll at Magnolia’s for many years. Telling you how many would betray my age. Mind you, I’m not a complex case: haircut every 6 – 8 weeks. Highlights once in a blue moon. But Shae is THE BEST! She helped me find a style that works for my face and hair type, and we don’t deviate from it too much. Shae also does airbrush makeup for weddings and her photos are amazing! Try her out– you won’t regret it!
