Wendy’s

Independence location is a good operation in my experience — food is consistent — service is good. You get what you order, generally hot and seems freshly made. It’s Wendy’s so if your familiar you get what you expect.
I really like Wendy’s chili, its supposedly made out of the burger patti’s — I’ve heard rumors that it’s Wendy’s practice to use leftover or overcooked patti’s to make the chili — rumors you know but it still tastes good.
The spicy chicken sandwich is one of my favs too — Burger Kings version just put some spicy sauce on their sandwich that was a bit disgusting. Wendy’s actually has the flavor and heat in the breading and sandwich itself — it’s got a little kick and is quite good.
Had only 1 issue in a number of visits over the past few years where I didn’t get a burger I ordered from the drive thru — managed to catch it before leaving the parking lot. Went back in and the manager apologized and tossed in an extra cheeseburger for my trouble. I doubt that is standard practice but made a happy customer and shows service and the customer experience is important to them. I have not had really any other issues.

A good menu. The restaurant is kept clean and the service is friendly and prompt. The food is the standard Wendy’s. My favorite is their chili. The chili is good and at a good price
