I started listening to their morning show once Opie and Anthony left Cleveland because I like listening to talk in the morning. I found Jimmy Malone to be a hoot. So charming. And the other dude, I think his name is Chip. Those two had a cute comedic rapport. However, I found that whenever Lannigan would come back from his retirement village down in Boca Raton, or wherever, I just couldn’t stomach listening to their show. Lannigan always seemed to be floating around in LaLa land. I heard he’s going to be retiring soon. Seriously, it’s time. The guy has been around since I was a kid and used to watch the Money Movie back in the olden days of 3 TV channels, dinosaurs and Neanderthals.

This used to be a decent oldies station. They played a lot of British invasion, soul, girl groups and doo wop. It used to get me through agonizing work days in retail hell around 1997. Since corporate behemoth took over, they became a bland soccer-mom soundtrack of James Taylor, lame disco and soul, and Blondie. They also used to have great djs like the Scottster. They are still home to John Lanigan (that’s not good either).
