Can’t recommend this place enough in terms of food and staff friendliness. We sat outside for brunch with our dog and the staff loved on him so much that he didn’t want to leave! The owners were extremely personable and spoke with us like we were old friends. I had the aloha eggs Benedict(Hawaiian sausage, grilled pineapple, and eggs Benedict) and it was fantastic. A2Z blew away my expectations and I will definitely stop by next time I’m in metro Indy

It’s hard for me to locate a rather small scale /privately owned breakfast(also dinners) place in North of Indy, so I got excited when I found A to Z Café. I had dined there before the current owners took over and after, and I enjoyed both dining experiences. I know no other places in Indy where you can taste Hawaiian dishes either so love trying them. My 1st Loco Moco was good with a complimentary Leis around my neck!

Stopped in for breakfast while my car was being repaired. I ordered the steak and eggs and it was quite good. The steak is served on a skewer like a kebab, making it a little more manageable for breakfast. Eggs were done to a perfect over-medium, steak was very slightly above the ordered medium(which is fine) and the potatoes kicked butt. A cozy atmosphere with a friendly staff made my meal even better!

Absolutely amazing weekend menu, friendly and personable staff. I can’t recommend this place enough. A special menu is served during weekend brunch(including the tater tot scramble, my favorite). I’ve also tried their dinner menu one night and was also very pleased. The staff is just great. They are attentive and will remember your name if you’ve been in more than once.

We came here for breakfast, it’s very close to our apartment and we’d driven by multiple times. The menu and hours were a little odd at first but the staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing and the food came out fast and hot. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. While the dinning area is small there is an outdoor patio that I’m guessing is open when the weather is nice. I got an omelette while my boyfriend tried the tater tot scramble(both were delicious). They also offer a lunch menu during breakfast hours as well as a separate dinner menu later in the afternoon. All of the breakfast and lunch dishes that came out during the 15 minute wait for our food looked just as wonderful as our selections. We will definitely be returning!

I’m so glad I found this place! If you don’t know it’s there you wouldn’t necessarily see it but it’s well worth looking for. The food is delicious and the staff is super friendly, they even went out of their way to figure out the best thing for me to eat when I was getting over a cold. This is definitely my new favorite breakfast place!

I’m so glad my friends and I stumbled upon this little café for dinner! First off, the environment is so cute and cozy. Also, the service and employees were great! They were so friendly and welcoming. It seems this is a popular breakfast spot(and I can’t wait to come back for that), but I was there for dinner. The menu was pricier than I would have expected(~$ 15 for a lot of the entrees), but they include soup or salad plus a side. So not a bad deal! I was trying to be healthy so I ordered salmon. It was cooked very nicely. It was supposed to be ginger/soy flavored, and while it was still delicious I wish it had more flavor. I got a baked potato as my side and salad. The salad was a basic salad, but very good and a large size. The baked potato was very tasty. Some if the other sides included smashed potatos, veggie of the day, and many other choices. My friends had kabobs and crab cakes and also enjoyed both. Overall, this is a cute café with good food.

Food was a Perkins feel for us and unless u ask for a coffee refill you won’t be offered one. The fried biscuits and apple butter were really good. Friendly staff

This place makes you feel at home. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are great. I will be going back regularly and can’t wait to try more of what is on the menu. Everything I’ve had so far is delicious and tastes like a home-cooked meal your grandma would make you!

Great little place on 96th st! Wasn’t sure what to expect as I looked through Unilocal pics and saw such a strange assortment of foods. I assume that’s where the name comes from, they have everything from A to Z! I whole heartedly believed I’d go in to get breakfast food. That’s what I live for on Saturdays. But instead I got their lunch special of grilled fish tacos. The tortilla was great, I honestly believe they made them from scratch, it had that flavor to it. The fish was a little over salted but otherwise they were delicious! And it wasn’t a huge amount of food so that I was uncomfortable all day. It was what I called a «Kira sized portion». Meaning I could eat it and not feel like I’d explode at the waist! The staff was all so nice! I wasn’t exactly sure which server was ours as they both kind of waited on us, but I didn’t really care because they were both extremely friendly! I intend to go back very soon and try some breakfast!

Firstly… if I had the choice, I would have given this place a 3.5 out 5 star rating. It has nothing to do with the environment or service. A huge part of why I would give this place another go is related to their stellar service and fun environment… not to mention, it’s super close to where I live. A2Z is a quirky, fun, and quaint little spot to grab a nice Sunday brunch. The menu has your classic breakfast items(B&G, eggs, pancakes, etc.) as well as a special menu with weekend-only selections. Being my first visit, I was itching for some biscuits and gravy(B&G) and maybe a slice of bacon. I always love to see how different chefs put their own personal touch to B&G. They had a meal option that allowed me to have it all… haha… a half-order of B&G, a choice meat(bacon), two eggs, and breakfast potatoes. My boyfriend ordered off of the special weekend-only menu, selecting the«Aloha Eggs Benedict.» We ordered and within 10 – 15 minutes our food was brought out looking delicious! My boyfriend graciously let me sample his meal. It was a very unique and delicious twist on the traditional eggs benedict! My meal, on the other hand, was very… basic. I wasn’t overly intrigued by the B&G, the eggs(ordered over-easy) were just okay… the best part of my meal was the breakfast potatoes. Thus, why I felt like I could only give them 4 stars(or would have given 3.5) because my meal was just so «okay» and not something I would crave. In conclusion… and I apologize for the lengthiness here… I would say that if you decide to check this place out, then order something unique! Don’t go for the traditional breakfast/brunch menu items as they may not really«wow» you, but I think your tastebuds will be pleased if you select something more adventurous. PS: They serve sweet tea — it’s really good! :)

The food was tasty, the staff friendly, and the service was fast. I had the pancakes one day and the Eggs Benedict crab cake with french toast, and fried biscuits the next day. I left both days satisfied and full for several hours.

Tami & I stopped in for a late breakfast though we were tempted by the lunch menu. We both opted for the Greek scrambled eggs. Loaded with mushrooms, spinach and feta served with toast — we both opted for rye. Together, an ideal portion size and remarkably flavorful. Good coffee, great service — pleasant and efficient, and sooo many more menu choices to try. There’s no question about whether we’ll return — just when.

This is my favorite place to go for breakfast. The ingredients are fresh, and work well together. Staff is friendly. And the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, with art from local artists for sale on the walls. If you like something with a little kick, try the Border omelette. It’s delicious and HUGE.

Husband and I went for breakfast after a concert the night before. Before we hit the road to head back home, we found this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. Place is clean and really quaint. We were really impressed by the great service! Outside seating was small(only 3 tables) but we came on an off time so it was really quiet and relaxing. Food was really good… Nothing you wouldn’t be able to get at a chain restaurant but everything was homemade and delicious. The coffee was amazing! Our server even offered to give us coffee for the road. If we lived in the area, this would be one of our regular breakfast spots.

Fantastic food. French toast tastes like how my father made it. Many of the menu items are unique and cannot be found other places. Easily our favorite place for breakfast now, but hope to try for lunch as well sometime. Cook is a wizard as we were here during a power outage and she kept cooming by cell phone light and didn’t miss a beat. Service staff is friendly and knowledgable. Owner and manager both stopped by during our last visit to check on how we were doing. Cannot recommend enough!

I’ve been to A to Z twice now, and they recently got a new owner. The thing I didn’t like before was that the tables were too close to the door and got really cold. The new owner says she is going to fix that. Last time, we got a warm booth and great service. My friend got the cinnamon toast, and I got an omelet. Both were very good and reasonably prices. It was a great place to eat brunch and catch up with my friend. I’ve never been there for dinner– they now have dinner certain nights. I would try their dinner for sure.
