Food was delicious. I had a breakfast omelet. I didn’t need to add any salt which is unusual for me. Coffee was bold and a touch stronger than I prefer but still enjoyable. Service was friendly and helpful. No complaints.

With the great food reviews, we were willing to sacrifice time with the wait. Unbeknownst to us, our wait would be extended by a hostess who did not put our names down until we approached her regarding the wait(the same thing a couple had to do when we first arrived.) Once we were seated, the wait staff was preoccupied with gossip instead of serving the guests. The food was adequate for a breakfast joint, but there are many other places that have great food and a great staff too without the high prices. Don’t waste your time.

The food was tasty, but the service was horrible! Our food came out one hour after we arrived. We were over charged, the waitress was not very knowledgeable about the menu, and blamed the mistakes on the computer buttons.

It was my first time here and a friend recommended it. The waitress said we had just missed the huge rush so we were seated right away. I ordered the steel cut oats and cinnamon roll and my friend ordered the cinnamon roll French toast. It was good, not spectacular. The cinnamon roll wasn’t super flavorful and I kinda wish I didn’t eat so much of it. The waitress was kind and attentive and I didn’t notice much of the surroundings or noise. It would be a good place to catch up with someone(which was what I was doing). Overall, it was a good experience but I wasn’t wowed.

LOVETHISPLACE! menu has so many amazing unique dishes. i got an omelette with cream cheese and crab meat. not too much cream cheese and a LOT of crab meat — PERFECT!!! soooo yummy. and i was amazed at the great prices! mine was $ 12 and it tasted like it came from a fancy schmancy brunch place. portions were on point too. most of my family finished theirs, some took home a little. service was AWESOME even on super-packed mother’s day. everyone that works there is super nice. and they even had coffee & muffins and games outside while you wait! we also got a beignets appetizer and my grandpa got shrimp & grits — both New Orleans dishes.(the restaurant originated there.) my grandparents are from New Orleans. and they approved! :) love this place so much, hope to make it back some time and try something new!

very disappointing. Breakfast is my favorite meal & have wanted to try out Another Broken Egg for quite a while. Not anywhere close to the top of many of the other local«Breakfast» restaurants.

Went here on a weekend, lots of parking(lot, free), and there was a little bit of a wait when we arrived — it got pretty crammed in the waiting area which is probably typical for most places during weekend brunch. While we were waiting they had mini muffins and hot coffee available which was nice. The staff was upbeat and friendly throughout the visit. They also had cornhole outside that you could play while you waited for a table — thought that was a neat touch. The menu itself is, for the most part, what you’d expect from a breakfast/brunch restaurant: omelettes, scramblers, benedicts, biscuits & gravy, and some other lunch-type options(salads, burgers, & sandwiches). They have a PDF of their current menu available on their website if you’re interested in looking at it prior to visiting. Our table ordered a variety of dishes. We started with sharing their ‘Biscuit Beignets’(which were light & tasty) and mimosas(very generous). For my meal I ordered the ‘Bacquezo’ omelette and really enjoyed it. My boyfriend ordered a different omelette, which I wasn’t quite as fond of as the one I had ordered(the Bacquezo was just so tasty). The side I ordered was the seasoned potatoes — they weren’t as tasty as I had hoped, the potatoes were warm but the feta was cold on top of them as though it was tossed into the bowl last minute as an afterthought(the potatoes weren’t hot enough to warm up or melt the cheese). The food overall didn’t absolutely blow me away, but I did enjoy my meal and it was a solid choice for breakfast on the northside of Indy. I will likely return in the future to try some other menu items as many of them looked like they were a fun/unique twist on what you’d normally expect. :)

It was my first time in Indy + I was determined to find a great place to treat our family hosting us to brunch. After reading multiple reviews and having a few people suggests other places I decided to go with Another broken egg. & I’m super glad I did! Upon arrival I noticed their was a lot of parking being its located in a plaza home to many other businesses. Walking through the doors we were greeted almost immediately.(Which plays a big role in my book). Our party of four was seated quickly & assigned a friendly waiter. The menu options were unique but classic at the same time. My partner order a large stack of buttermilk pancakes, which were fluffy yet decadent(Those treats kept him full all day long), a side of eggs and turkey sausage which were said to be ok. Brother ordered the shrimp + grits, they looked amazing & he said they were just that. Of coarse my complicated self customized a veggie omelet, + a side of avocado. The omelet was delicious but the side of Mediterranean potatoes were divine. Seasoned so greatly, mouth literally watering as I type. Lastly was the service. It really felt good to be in an unfamiliar city but get treated by genuine welcoming spirits from everyone we encountered. The manager stopped by to check on us + smile at our LO a few times. The server who brought our food had a great personality. & Our waiter was informative + attentive. Overall Great customer service. Thank you!

I have been trying to get to this place for some time! Finally got to schedule a morning business meeting here to try it out. I went straight for one of the house recommendations the«Hey Lucy» Chorizo and cheese are super rich and not the best health food but it’s balanced by healthy veggies which I could rationalize were good for me hahah :) The coffee was meh… but I am a self proclaimed coffee snob so don’t take off points for that comment. I would definitely be back again!

This is one of my favorite brunch spots that I have been to yet! Right when you walk in you feel welcome; between the yellow and orange paint and the overall cozy feel! The workers have always been magnificent in my book, very friendly and personable. The only downside of this restaurant, is the line tends to be very long. However, you can get in line before you even arrive with the Nowait app! My go-to order is the Bacquezo omelette with their seasoned country potatoes. I love absolutely everything about it. If you love chorizo, bacon, and cream cheese, you should give this omelette a try! Last time I was here, however, I tried the Classic Biscuits and Gravy meal, which also included two eggs any style, two slices of bacon or two sausage patties, and seasoned country potatoes. I’m always nervous to try a new recipe of biscuits and gravy, but it was scrumptious. I’m(almost) ashamed to admit I ate every bit of the food on my plate!

I LOVE breakfast food, anytime of day. Another Broken Yolk is your average brunch spot, but with a southern flair that sets it apart. On the menu, you’ll find all the breakfast classics like pancakes(regular and sweet potato), French toast, a variety of omelets, biscuits and gravy, and fresh fruit along with southern favorites like blackberry grits and seafood infused breakfast dishes like omelets with crab meat.(If you’re crazy) and don’t want breakfast, they also serve light lunch items like salads and sandwiches. If you’re feeling a little feisty, they also have(what look to be) delicious Bloody Mary’s with all the fixings. I had the Biscuits & Gravy meal, which included one biscuit, covered in mediocre gravy, two eggs cooked however you like them(I recommend topping with cheese), breakfast potatoes, and hand-formed sausage patties(none of that frozen stuff!) It was good, filing and delicious, but I’ve had better B&G. The waiter was attentive and friendly. In fact, the whole staff was. The chef even came by the table to ask how our meal was. It’s a very inviting, family friendly atmosphere and great for groups. Overall, I had a good experience and will likely be back!

I seem to be in the minority here, but I personally wasn’t impressed. The food was fine, some of it was even great, but for the price, I expected better. We ordered red velvet pancakes(came with meat and eggs), the Floridian omelette, and a large orange juice. The pancakes were decent, although the cream cheese topping seemed like something they bought from Gordon’s and heated up. The orange juice tasted exactly like McDonalds orange juice. The Floridian omelette was actually very good. The potatoes on the side came out of a bag from Gordon’s. Overall, not worth $ 30. Maybe if they made more of the food themselves they could lower the prices a bit.

A solid choice for a northside breakfast and brunch place. Nothing is too imaginative or original, but if you want a reliable and tasty omelette or some french toast, this is your spot. They offer some seasonal specials, and seem to have an affinity for southern/creole specials on their menu. I know they have a lunch menu, but I’ve never ordered anything from that side. When breakfast food is involved, I tend to block all other options out. They have a large menu with lots of choices– skillets, omelettes, french toast, etc. They also have a lot of healthy options, which I appreciate. I thought their breakfast potatoes were pretty salty, but maybe it was an off day when I visited. Overall, a friendly and happy atmosphere with solid(yet basic) brunch food and nice people.

A Great Place to Meet for a Business Brunch. Great WiFi. Nice auxiliary meeting room. Frequent-diners discount card. Another Broken Egg offers a wide variety of breakfast foods to please even the most finicky foodie. The selection of gluten-free and veggies options are tasty, if you go that route. For the general breakfastist, you’ll get all the«usuals» but there are also many dishes that offer a nice twist. My own favorite is the brie breakfast appetizer. Served with toast and a topping of raisins, cinnamon apples, and walnuts, this share-able appetizer never gets shared when I order it. *nom, nom, nom* I’m a regular, meeting clients at least once a month — and also occasionally for a family weekend brekky. This place is consistently a 4-star+ location. If service was slightly more attentive, it would reach my 5-star level.

Great spot! Delicious food with a great menu selection. Good healthy options too, so you don’t feel jipped for cutting calories. I enjoyed the«black bean eggs Benedict» which was delicious! Just the right amount of mild spice mixed into in the hollandaise. Also, it’s worth upgrading to the Mediterranean Potatoes — wedge potatoes pan fried with garlic and feta. Delish! Also, my favorite part is how they present tea. See photo! They bring a big velvet lined box of Mighty Leaf tea for you to choose from. Nice clean interior. Ample parking, too.

What I enjoyed: A ample portion of house made granola, blueberry quinoa, berries, coconut crusted bananas topped with coconut milk served in a beautiful ceramic bowl. I’m a hearty eater and I almost couldn’t finish this dish… almost…I simply could not put my spoon down. I did in fact wear my stretchy pants and this dish is listed on the«healthy side» of the menu so in my opinion, I stretched my pants for good health. There are also several other creative dishes that grabbed my attention like the biscuit beignets, sweet potato pancakes, lobster brie omelette, and crab cake benedict. What burned my biscuits: Service, service, service. My dining companion and I waited well over 40 minutes for our food and our server was nowhere to be found. Given we weren’t in a hurry no biggie however, we received no drink refills and no follow up from our server. Maybe it was an off day for service so I would give them a second shot especially for a healthy round two of granola, fruit, and quinoa.

This is a decent place to go for breakfast/brunch. Waffles, pancakes, eggs, the usual. Had some pretty interesting combinations. I had one of their signature omelette named«hey Lucy». It was pretty good although I feel as though it was lacking in some flavor as was most things. Potatoes were… potatoes, no seasoning or anything. Pancake was pretty good, nice and thick. The place was clean and the service was friendly. Got a hot chocolate and ice tea and both tasted a little off. To much chocolate and the tea seemed as though the bags were left in to long. Tried the Bloody Mary as well which was just average. I wouldn’t mind trying this place again due to the friendly service and«at home» atmosphere. Would also like to try something different in hopes of having a better feedback. Do think everything was a bit overpriced though.

You know what– I like this place. There’s something low-key and simple about it that reminds me of a small town diner with an elevated menu out of New Orleans. Think: crawfish, shrimp and grits on the menu. Oh, and how could I forget the biscuit beignets topped with powdered sugar and honey marmalade? A few of my favorites include the granola, fruit and quinoa convo with coconut milk w d fresh bananas. Pretty much anything you order will be tasty and at a reasonable price. Outdoor patio seating is available and the menu offers several options for those who are gluten free and veggie friendly.

Stopped in at Another Broken Egg for the first time today. My friend and I were up in the Carmel area and craving some morning drinks. We decided food might also be a good option and chose Another Broken Egg as neither of us had been there before. As is typical with brunch restaurants in the Indy area, there was a wait. We were told that it would be 15 – 20 for a table of two. 30 mins later, another 2 top came in and was told the same wait time but that the bar was open seating. We may have raced to the bar at that point. Our bartender was very nice and funny. We ordered a mimosa and a Bloody Mary. Later I found out about their special pomegranate mimosa– but I had already ordered a regular. The drinks were good. A very solid Bloody Mary and mimosa. The mimosa had fresh orange juice in it, which really helped with giving the drink a bit of tartness. The Bloody Mary was fairly standard– however they do use vodka that they infuse in house, so that made it stand out a bit. I do wish that they didn’t use a bottled mix. We ordered food and then waited. And waited. And waited. Our orders were basic– a pancake with bacon and scrambled eggs and the traditional which had 2 sunny side up eggs, an English muffin, and potatoes. It took well over 30 mins to get our food. Everything was alright. The pancake was a bit too sweet for my liking(too much vanilla extract). Everything else was good, but nothing really stood out. I do have to say that the service we received was excellent. The manager came to check on us, we were greeted quickly, and all the staff was very pleasant. Based on this, I would consider giving them another try and perhaps order one of the more specialty items on the menu. However, I will make sure that I don’t wait until I’m starving before going in.

I like beignets. The first time I had the beignets at Another Broken Egg, the were amazing and cooked to perfection. The second time I had them, they were extremely hot, too crunchy and tasted a little burnt. My wife and I tried a few bites and stopped eating them. The breakfast food was good. I’d eat it again. I had the«Hey Lucy» The restaurant is a place to go when you have time. I would not go for work lunch because I don’t think I could get in and out in under an hour. Overall I would go here again but it is not a place I am craving to get back to.
