Such an adorable store! I popped in on a Sunday with a friend in search of adult coloring books. The woman working, who I can only assume was the owner, was extremely friendly. She let us browse but also gave suggestions and was overall just a very pleasant person to chat with. Some of the offerings in the store were a bit too artsy for my taste — but there were a lot of cute gift options. Definitely going to be a spot where I come in search of unique Christmas and birthday gift options. The highlights: Adult coloring books(duh) Handmade soaps and wonderfully smelling lotions Unique jewelry Surprisingly cute, boutique-y clothing items Local Indianapolis photos crafted into wall hangs Definitely a must stop if you are wanting a unique shopping experience and in the Mass Ave area. Yes, the prices are a little high, but it can be budget friendly if you spend time and browse. I’ll be back.

Fabulous art/gift store. I found a necklace that I wanted to buy for my mom and my aunt(her twin sister) for their upcoming 85th Birthdays. However, they only had one in stock. So they contacted the jewelry designer and had another one shipped to the store. But their outstanding customer service doesn’t stop there. I live in Texas. They then shipped both of the necklaces to me. I really appreciated them going the extra mile for a customer that is not a local. Thank you.

Nice little shop on Mass Ave, very friendly owner. Lots of interesting things from local artists. I appreciate the small business that supports the locals, wish there were more out there! Decent range of price, if you need a place for a unique gift this is the place.

What a cute store! I’m not from Indy, but on a recent visit, I found myself strolling up and then back down Mass Ave(where Arts A Poppin is located). This store called my name, and I made my way inside. The woman working was extremely friendly. Given I was alone and had spent the majority of the day alone(waiting for some friends to join me in Indianapolis that evening), I was happy to chat with her. A variety of gift items filled the store at a variety of price points, and I knew I had to buy something. I ended up buying a glass(perhaps blown glass) ring holder, which is pretty and still funky. If I lived in Indy, this would be a frequent spot to buy gifts for others and myself. If I make it make to the area, I will likely stop back in again. Good service & good offerings.

I like the IDEA of this store, and I alway go in when I’m in the area, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem like their merchandise rotates very often… I wish there was more of a selection… just more to look at and discover. Unfortunately, they are also a little bit pricey… which I understand for quality made goods, but some items are clearly manufactured and marked up significantly. Arts A Poppin, while nice enough, just doesn’t seem to do it for me… Though I will agree with another poster in saying that the staff always does seem friendly.

Arts A Poppin’ is a tremendous store and a fabulous location. Mass Ave just makes me want to shop! The folks at Arts A Poppin’ feature all artist-driven product from local, regional and national artisans. It’s so nice to shop in a store in Indianapolis and find products handmade right here in my city. This is my go to store when I need the perfect gift. There are items for men and women. Jewelry, home décor, leather goods and so much more. There are also prices for everyone. Are you meeting your bestie for dinner and want to pick up a little something? Give her a unique $ 10 gift. Are you shopping for your wife for the PERFECT gift that will make her friends jealous? There’s that, too. Each time I have been in the store, there has been someone to come in to need shopping assistance and EVERYTIME the person working is able to help them meet their needs. They don’t have all 4 and 5 star reviews for no reason!

Arts A Poppin is a super cute shop, with an inventory full of handmade items from Indiana artisans, as well as a few from other places in the US. The shop has all kinds of stuff — pottery, jewelry, candles, glasswork, knit hats and scarves, prints, cards, soap, etc. I found a few really yummy smelling hand-poured candles, including some that were made of soy. Also noticed some beautiful pieces of handmade jewelry with beading or glasswork, the three sock«pairs» that Tommy O noted(what a genius idea!), as well as some crafty Christmas ornaments– some were actually assembled puzzles. I didn’t find anything that I particularly needed, nor something that seemed a perfect gift for anyone, so I left empty-handed this time. But, I’ll definitely be back… this shop has quite the selection of handmade items, and the prices aren’t too shabby for being from independent artists either!

A hodgepodge of local artists’ offerings. Clocks, paintings, homemade giftcards and jewelry. Blown glass jewelry was among the more interesting and colorful offerings; silver and semi-precious stone jewelry with inscriptions also dazzled. Small clocks also draw interest. I found a few with feathers, gears, even a CD.
