Best Buy Mobile

While I shy away from writing reviews for most of the larger chains, once in awhile a customer service experience comes along that simply deserves some extra attention. This is the case with Best Buy Mobile, a small Best Buy outlet inside Castleton Square Mall that should not be confused with the larger, free-​standing Best Buy located a couple blocks away.
This Best Buy is located next to Macy’s inside the mall and focuses exclusively on mobile phones, wireless plans, and related accessories.
I’ve dealt with this Best Buy on several occasions and I’ve never been disappointed with its prices, customer service, and ethical employees. Last night was the latest example. I recently acquired an IPhone4. Yes, it’s really a 4. What can I say? I’m behind the times. The phone has been working great, but a couple days ago it stopped taking a charge. Now then, I don’t exactly have a technical brain. However, after a few trial and error experiments I finally concluded that it was actually the charger and not the phone. While I could have headed over to the Apple Store, I didn’t want to have to take out a mortgage and I get more than a little nervous if I’m surrounded by more than a dozen nerds at one time. So, I decided to head back to Best Buy after other recent positive experiences there.
The young woman who greeted me within a minute of my arrival immediately jumped into action. When I described what the phone was doing and also happened to have the charger with me, she tested it immediately and concluded that it was not actually the charger but the cable. As someone who was ready to buy a new charger, I appreciated her willingness to figure out the real problem, while also being honest and saving me a few bucks in the process.
Within a few minutes, I had my phone back in action at a reasonable price and had yet again experienced great customer service. During previous visits, I’ve had this same location patiently help me set up when I was using Virgin Mobile and they’ve patiently answered phone related questions on more than one occasion. On one occasion, I also had a phone I’d purchased there go bad and, much to my surprise, they honored the warranty and got me taken care of without an ounce of negativity. Having dealt with the gaminess of HH Gregg, I was surprised and stunned and how much they backed up their products.
For wireless related purchases, I highly recommend Best Buy Mobile inside Castleton Square!
