Bill is fantastic. My wife and I moved to Broad Ripple in October and it wasn’t until recently I started looking for a local barber. After a little research I decided to give Bill’s place a try. Aside from good reviews he’s close to my home and open late enough that I don’t feel rushed when I leave work. He did a wonderful job on my hair and the hot lather shave on the back of my neck was awesome. But it was something else that blew me away. In my research I didn’t notice that he is an appointment only barber. He was with another client when I walked in around six and asked if he had time for a walk in. He explained his policy to me but told me to take a seat and he’d take care of me next. Once I got in the chair he took his time and did a great job. He could’ve been curt with me and tried to get me out as quick as possible since I caused him to bend his policy. But he treated me like a regular and gave me a great cut. I’ll be a customer of his as long as I’m living here.

I’ve struggled finding a decent barber since moving to Indy in 2002. I tried SportsClips for a while, but it just wasn’t working out. I decided to give Bill’s a shot, fearing it was a girlie salon and hoping it was a barbershop. It’s actually something in between. However, Bill does give a terrific haircut. My hair’s not really difficult to cut, but I could tell he gave me one of the better cuts I’ve ever had. My hair seemed to have more texture, and it’s grown out well. He even wrote down how he cut my hair so he would know how to do it next time if I liked it. $ 15 before tip was about the same price as SportsClips, and the cut was much better. Highly recommended.
