Everything was delicious for breakfast this morning! Beware the prices are really high. However, the food was SOGOOD. My egg sandwich had a perfectly cooked egg. The gluten-free bread was delicious. The grits were great. Delicious(but very teeny) fruit cup. The coffee bar is great! The service is top notch. Make sure you have time because things are actually cooked here! Next stop, the full restaurant downtown!

I realize this is in an airport so the expectation is not too high. Food is ok but the service was horrendous. I’m not one to write negative reviews but this deserves it. What’s with having to get your own coffee… really?

I already have a long-standing crush on downtown Café Patachou. I’ve had my share of omelette a and broken yolk sandwiches at that location so it’s no surprise that I’m a fan of the airport outpost! The IND food court of sorts hosts a variety of local and chain food stuffs and snacks, and Patachou has a sweet little corner and bar where you can order to-go or seat yourself for a more traditional dining experience. I ordered a custom omelette with avocado, tomatoes, spinach, and herbed cream cheese. Just 10 – 15 minutes later, my tasty omelette arrived with(a very tiny) cup of fresh fruit and a stack of cinnamon toast. The omelette was solid, not quite as hefty as I’ve had in the past but totally fine before boarding a flight. I will say that the use of cooking oil on the veggies was a tad heavy handed. The thick cut cinnamon toast was fabulous per usual. Service was quick and friendly ensuring that I had plenty of time to make my flight. While I didn’t get the full Patachou experience, this airport stop is leaps and bounds above the typical saran wrapped sandwich.

The service and food were very good. Although it took us a while to order because the menu is very confusing and had several miss spellings. Most places have breakfast on one side of the menu and lunch on the other this place it’s all over the place. Otherwise a little pricy for breakfast but a great spot for an airport.

We had a very nice lady taking care of us, she suggested the tomato Basel artichoke soup which was very delicious. Also the chicken Caesar wrap was excellent! One if the best airport places we have ever eaten in

I love Patachou’s other locations and have eaten here and been equally pleased. Tasty food, good service, tailored to the best-be-quick airport needs. This is my breakfast preference in Indy airport. Better than usual airport fare.

When my sister lived in Indianapolis, Patachou was one her favorite local places for breakfast and brunch. I went with her once or twice, and I haven’t had the opportunity to return since she moved to another city. I optimized on the airport location while I was traveling through Indy, and I’m so glad I did. For one, I love that this place doesn’t strip its menu to accommodate the airport crowd. It’s a full menu of breakfast dishes many of which include broken yolk sandwiches. I usually would order a breakfast sandwich, but I decided that’s a waste of a perfectly delicious brunch restaurant. I ordered the Croissant, French Toast and it was absolutely delicious. It was moist and packed with flavor. I barely used my syrup. My only gripe with this place is I think the kitchen moved kind of slow. My server whizzed between tables to bring them their checks quickly, but I would have liked to see more haste from the kitchen. Then again, for food so good it was worth the wait. Just don’t try to eat here with a tight departure time.

I don’t understand the outrage by some, this is not a fast take-out place. It’s a slow-food bistro for those who will spend 30 – 40 minutes to eat. No deep fried food sacks here folks. My order was great! Sandwich and spinach salad was composed of fresh ingredients that tasted like they were sourced from a farmers market rather than a traditional vendor. With one server I can see that one person can single handed Love you! Make or break the experience, but it’s worth the time if you have it.

Good is great but service at the airport location is terribly slow. Wish it could be improved.

As a frequent flying, I value great airport food. And this is a fine spot. It is uncrowded and relaxing. The staff is friendly and laid back. The food is always first rate. I am drawn to the Cuban breakfast special: beans and rice with an egg, cheese, and an avocado. It is tied together with a spicy pesto. It is a great meal. Fine coffee but lacking in beer selection. I build my travel schedule so I can dine here and avoid all the national chains downtown. It is one of the better airport dining spots that you will find. Please note: it is before the security checkpoint.

This is the airport location of a great breakfast spot. While this isn’t as wonderful as a regular Patachou location because of the issues inherent in it being an airport restaurant, it is really quite stellar for an airport restaurant! Now that I’ve discovered this little place I’ll be sure to frequent it more frequently when at the Indianapolis International Airport. I really enjoyed my broken yolk sandwich and would be sure to order it again if given the opportunity. I really love the many options on the menu the fruit and the fact that this restaurant calls itself a Student’s Union for adults. Located before security, it is a great spot to stop if you’re going to be at the airport for a while.

I’ve had consistently amazing experiences at two other Patachou restaurants, so I was surprised to have such atrocious service at this one. The place was filthy, with dirty floors and unwashed tables. The server with the trashy neck tattoo was unkempt and rude, and proceeded to get herself a drink and do sidework after I requested a new glass of water — the original one had little pieces of white plastic in it. Also, after forgetting my beer, she argued with me and told me I never ordered it. I didn’t wait for the food to come out. Pick a different Patachou.

I’ve eaten at this location a few times when traveling in and out of Indy. I had always noticed the apathy, but today I had to walk out after 5mins of not being acknowledged. Not enough servers, a lot of people waiting, no one hustlin’ to keep up. It’s «Please seat yourself», but of course people after I had sat down were getting menus.(I watched others leave as well.) While the food is tasty, I’m not so sure that will be my go-to anymore when in the airport. In the words that a wise woman once spoke, «Ain’t no body got time for that.»

Fresh delicious and very overpriced breakfast. If that’s what you’re looking for then this is the spot, I can think of a lot of other places that are better but you do kind of get what you pay for here. quality over quantity kinda I suppose

Since I am in love with all things Patachou, I purposely get to the airport early to eat breakfast here before morning flights out of Indy. While this isn’t my favorite location, I still cannot thank the Patachou franchise enough for having a restaurant in the airport so I can get my broken yolk sandwich fix before travelling. It’s the same great food and reliable Patachou menu, but I will say the service isn’t quite as friendly or fast as the other Indy locations. So, in other words, definitely only stop and eat here if you’re not on a time crunch. Despite that, I still recommend stopping here if you’re looking for a good and healthy place to eat in the Indianapolis Airport.

Went here on recommendation of my coworkers, and I have to say, that breakfast sandwich ranks super high on my all time list of most delicious breakfasts ever. Only holding back a star because the service wasn’t super fast/great, but it wasn’t terrible. Sandwich definitely made up for it — would come back again 100%!

Café Patachou is a healthy, refreshing change from the standard airport fare. This is my second visit and it was an easy decision to come back. The staff is so friendly, you’ll feel like you’re just out to eat, and not rushing to and from your plane. The menu has a nice variety with a lot of enticing breakfast items(served all day), although I’ve chosen lighter fare — the soup & sandwich combo — to offset the heavy meals that make up most of my business trips. It’s a filling lunch but probably the healthiest meal of the week. Their signature soup — the only one they make — is a creamy tomato & artichoke that’s delicious, served with shaved Parmesan & croutons. The turkey sandwich is real turkey, like from the thanksgiving bird, on homemade bread. Café Patachou is one of many good places I discovered on Unilocal

The best and most honest airport food. Thank you Patachou for having a location at the Indy airport! I had a delicious tomato purée soup and some yogurt with granola. I know, this doesn’t seem like a great pairing, but it was exactly what I needed before a long(ish) flight. They also serve their famous broken Yolk sandwiches here, so if you didn’t get a chance to try one yet… I’d highly recommend it all hours of the day! Otherwise, traditional lunch options with various sandwiches are also a part of the menu, but what makes Patachou stand out is the lovely ingredients they use. Real roasted turkey, for instance(I saw it on someone else’s plate). Either way, be sure to grab a soup on your way out. At $ 5, you really can’t beat it for airport food.

Come early to the IND airport to try the fresh fare here. Great for lunch that’s not fast food or greasy. It’s outside of the security gates so make enough time to go through the security line afterwards. I had the turkey sandwich with gluten free wheat. It was very light, but filling at the same time. The turkey breast pieces were thick, making it worth the price of the sandwich. I opted for the salad on the side and gluten free wheat so I don’t get that bloated feeling on my plane ride afterwards. There was only one waitress so be forewarned on a tad slightly slower service, just because most people ate here as opposed to the sports bar next door.

Best place to get breakfast at the Indy airport. I ordered the Cuban Breakfast Special for $ 9.95 which was«seasoned black beans and white rice, served hot with a fried egg and cheddar cheese, topped with avocado, sour cream and housemade spinach-jalapeño sauce.» It was delicious and definitely something I would order again. They also have a full coffee menu that I will have to check out next time. The dining area is seat yourself with table service. I ended up sitting at a table in the corner which was right next to a wall plug-in so I could charge my phone. Perfect. My waitress was friendly and brought me everything I needed. Café Patachou is located before security, so make sure you give yourself enough time to eat and not have to worry about the line through security. You can also order stuff to-go if you don’t think you will have enough time to sit down and eat at the restaurant. If your morning breakfast options are fast food on the way to the airport or eating breakfast here once you get here, definitely skip the McDonalds/Starbucks Drive-Thru and eat breakfast and get your morning coffee here instead.
