Classy place with great food, excellent service, and wonderful food, and surprisingly moderate prices.

So I have never actually eaten in this restaurant. I have experienced the takeout only. Everyone that I have spoken to on the phone has been really nice and the orders don’t seem to take that long. Everything that I’ve had on the menu has been really good! The ribs really do fall off the bone!!! The chicken is always so tender and juicy. And don’t forget about the fried okra! I always order a side of that regardless of what I get. Their buttermilk ranch is homemade and it is the closest thing I’ve had to good olé’ California ranch! The one thing that I am nervous about is brown lettuce in my salad. I’ve only gotten a salad from there once, and it was really good. But for the price I paid, it didn’t seem like a large enough salad and a lot of the pieces were brown. Now, in their defense, it’s a lot going on in the BLT Salad so they probably didn’t notice it. Would I get it again? Yes, with a side of okra! LOL

It’s was amazing as always. They have the best rolls. My server was very attentive. Somehow she always knew when to refill my drinks.

This was our first time eating at Charleston’s, but most assuredly it won’t be our last. The atmosphere was very relaxing. We were seated very quickly, but we were there a little early for Saturday dinner. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. She was spot on when it came to her description of the BBQ ribs. Fall off the bone scrumptious! The garlic mashed potatoes were delicious, and the salad was good. They serve croissants, which is something different from the norm. They were light and slightly sweet — very good! Even though the Key Lime pie was calling my name, I passed on dessert. I will get it on a future visit! The portions were a nice size. The price fit the quality and portion.

Excellent Prime Rib, the chicken fingers are very good. Service is always good. The bread pudding is very good. Disappointed that they no longer with the chicken fried steak with chipolte gravy.

Sadly, I won’t continue visiting Charleston’s based on such a disappointing dinner tonight. I often order the same salad but have noticed its decline over last couple years. The lettuce was mostly iceberg; the strawberries were few and tasteless; the pineapple was blah; the turkey resembled poor quality deli meat; and, the dressing was flavorless. The service was good. The prices were reasonable, notwithstanding the poor quality of my dinner salad. My dinner companion’s meal was better than mine. Weighing both the good and the disappointing, I am forced to choose no return visits.

My husband, son and I had a wonderful dinner at Charleston. The waiter was very attentive to our beverages, and always kept them filled. My husband had the prime rib and he said it was good. My son had the chicken parm. and it was a generous portion. I had the beef tips and they were very tender and delicious. I added an order of glazed carrots, they were the best I have ever had. Great dinner, we will definitely be back.

This place has been here a while and I last visited years ago. It was very busy for lunch and we were served by a fantastic server, Alisha. I can’t say enough about her cheerful and friendly attitude. We were a table of six and wanted separate checks. No problem! I had the Kale Salad,($ 14) with the chicken to take home to my wife. It was huge and delicious. I want the dressing recipe. Others in my party seemed happy with their food and the large portions. Especially the french fries. As to the décor: It was dark, so it was difficult to see the details. Given that, it was pleasant and had what I think were real gas lamps on the walls. Restrooms were clean. Worth a visit.

I have been to this establishment twice now and both time I was happy with the food. I had the prime rib last night and the cut of beef was ok but it had a little fat that I had to leave on the plate. I had the mushrooms as a side and they were ok I am not sure what liquid they were soaked in when they came but it was flavorful. I also had caesar salad was very good.

I decided to sit at the bar because I wanted quicker service… huge disappointment.. the bartender wasn’t very attentive. Spent a lot of time talking to his relatives. My desert, keylime pie, took over 10 minutes to come out. The bartender was so not interested in providing me service that he probably put the order in 5 minutes after I placed it. Was looking for a quick break from Christmas shopping but this quick lunch turned into something much longer than I expected.

I give this hidden little gem 5 stars for the following reasons: Great menu. The shrimpcargot is amazing. The ribs were fantastic and meaty and sweet and tangy. My waitress was really nice and attentive.

My most recent visit will be my last. We made reservations by telephone earlier in the day. When we arrived, we advised the hostesses of our name and our reservation. After some fumbling, they were unable to locate our reservation in the computer. Enter whom I assume was a manager, given his attire. One of the hostesses explained the situation, and the manager immediately looked at us and snapped«You probably called the wrong location.» I noted I found his tone and accusatory statement very rude, to which the manager replied in a horribly unprofessional tone, «It happens all the time.» Then, we stood there for a moment while nothing happened. So, my husband looked through his phone’s call history and sure enough, he DID call the correct location. After we proved to the manager that my husband did actually call the correct location and even showed the length of the call, the manager mumbled something under his breath while he grabbed menus. He barked, «Follow me,» and we proceeded to our table. However, we couldn’t keep up with his near-jogging pace, so once he got to the table, he had to wait for us to catch up. Before we were even able to get into our seats, he plopped the menus on the table and ran off. No apologies for their error, no «so and so will be your server», no «enjoy your dinner»…nothing. Then, after finding out they no longer had a turkey burger(even though it was still on the menu and they had stopped serving it weeks ago), we completed our order. My son ordered a kid’s cheeseburger meal. It’s what he always orders, without fail. When we received our food, he was given a grilled cheese instead of a cheeseburger. We notified our waiter, but at this point we just wanted to eat and get the heck out of there, so we declined his offer to re-make our son’s food. The waiter blamed the kitchen and quickly left.(My husband worked at a Charleston’s while he was in college; he knows how the kitchen works. It simply could not have been the kitchen’s error.) So we are finished with these guys, unfortunately, and we will let our friends and family know of these issues, as well.

Atmosphere is nice and cozy, somewhat sporty, and conservative. Not quite a youthful hang, but the food here is really on point! Went here twice. Both times got the kale salad– very good and hearty size. My friends were al very happy with their meals. I tried some of the filet– medium rare, it was exactly how a filet should be cooked and seasoned. The croissants are maybe the best i ever had. Highly recommend for a great tasting meal and consistency of quality across the menu.

BESTSALADEVER Ok so I haven’t been posting because I have become a vegan and was terrified to eat out.((After a few horrid experiences of people not understanding I don’t want dairy or what dairy even is))My uncle is getting married so I’m completely out of my environment and terrified of eating dairy, eggs or meat. Now, this place was awesome. They were completely understanding in my order and not annoyed. I had the kale salad and instead of chicken a potato. And then instead of the honey vinaigrette I had the herbal vinaigrette. I cannot stress to you enough how amazing this salad was. I am sad to be leaving because I want this salad for every meal. It sounds ridiculous because, yes it’s a freaking salad but this is the best salad I’ve had in a longg time. Thank you for being accommodating to my vegan lifestyle!

Good restaurant, deserving of more business! Came here on a Saturday night and was surprised there was no wait. We were immediately seated and our orders were taken. The atmosphere is casual, but a little more«upscale» casual. The prices aren’t too bad either. The waitress was friendly and our order was taken in a timely manner. I had the fish, fries, and mashed potatoes. It was good, maybe not mind blowing good… but pretty darn good for a chain. Overall, great experience… I’ll be back!

I was in contest prep for a figure competition and was counting my macros to a T. I went to Charleston to celebrate my best friend landing a new job and was anxious to eat at a restaurant. My waiter was 1. Adorable and 2. Amazing. He checked all the ingredients for me and made sure that what I was eating was within parameters of my diet. Like. He went out of his way. I got blackened tilapia which sounds boring but was totally amazing. My friend ordered he prime rib which was flawlessly cooked and came with a heart attack/coma inducing load of food. My friend is very picky and pretentious about his food but he had nothing but complements. I was very pleased with the experience and will definitely be going back.
