Too bad that the management staff cannot pay attention to its patrons. Was verbally assaulted by manager while trying to cash out after taking kids out for dinner. Server didn’t bring bill until after the 10 bar cutoff(it was 10:15 to be exact when our bill arrived at our table). Yet manager felt compelled to tell us to leave. «Hey, a hole, help us leave!!! That would be your real job!» I will never be at Drakes again under any circumstances! Used to be a big advocate as a nice place you could go out for fun and also take kids to eat. And no more. Never again.

Okay, sooo we go to Drakes almost every Monday with friends for trivia. This is 100% our trivia location because table taps are 50% off on Monday!!! You really just can’t beat that price! The location is a bit out of the way… but like I said…50% table taps! The seating is conducive to large groups, however can fill up quickly on trivia night. We have always had great service here the staff is attentive and quick. Nothing on the menu jumps out at me ever… and I typically don’t get food unless it’s a side of fries(I recommend the tots or the sweet potato fries-however the serving size is very inconsistent :/) My husband always, always gets the buffalo chicken minis with tater tots… even if I cook before we go!(So he either reallllllyyyy likes he them or really hates my cooking… lets go with the first option!) I have tried the sushi-shrimp tempera, because I was afraid to go with anything raw, and it was pretty good. Overall I wouldn’t ever go here simply to eat, it’s definitely a run of the mill menu, but with the deals, good service, and good company it’s easy to have a good time!

Overall: As much as I wish I could recommend Drake’s, the mediocre food and poor service ruined anything good coming from it. The good: There are a decent amount of beer options and the menu, while random, is solid. The outdoor games were also a plus. Haven’t had a beer tower in awhile which was nice. The bad: Service was absolutely terrible. Our waitress never got the John Daly cocktail right, even though we spelled it out for her. Food was terribly slow coming out, and the bill took equally as long. Had to basically yell to get the check, which I don’t usually do. Sweet potato fries were poor. Atmosphere: 8⁄10 Service: 1⁄10 Food: 4⁄10

Great beer selection! We went in there one evening and got the bourbon beer which was awesome. The service was quick and the apps were really good(have tried almost all the apps, so take your pick). One thing keeping this place was getting waiting on the food a couple of times. For some reason, there are times we go and get food quickly and other times we go and wait awhile on the same food. Very good overall!

Food was great, so was the beer! Our server was also the bartender and we had a great time with him.

I don’t know… might have been the sushi, might have been anti-biotics on the salad greens, might have been in the water for all I know, but the day after I ate here, … Let’s just say it wasn’t pleasant to be me. If it wasn’t their fault, I’m sorry. Lunch was a pleasant experience on a very nice early Spring day with a table by the open garage doors. The sushi choices overwhelm the menu — three times as many ways to say«rice» in Japan as there are ways to describe a dozen sandwiches. Cobb salad with salmon upgrade for me, was«just OK», as three stars describes it. Too much iceberg lettuce, not enough anything else. Nice bowl. Took a long time to arrive given we both ordered a cold lunch. My wife had sushi. She gave me some. She was fine the next day, so I assume the sushi is safe.

Great sushi. Great bar food. Beer Towers. Lots of choices. Favorite meal: Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla Fun place to watch a game on the many televisions or play trivia. Food available for all tastes. Corn hole in the summer, and they open the garage doors when its nice out. Love spending time here.

I have had food here before. However the food was a bit on the greasy side this time around. The sushi is mediocre if your looking for sushi. Not really sure what theme the restaurant is going for. However, the beer selections are good and the serving staff was on point, as they always are. I don’t know if I will ever eat there again but a place to have a couple cocktails before a night on the town… definitely.

Went in for a team dinner with work. One of my coworkers recommended it based on the menu. Tables are a little odd for a group, you are right up against the next table on benches. Lots of choose from on their menu. Burgers, sandwiches, and sushi. Sounds like an odd combination, but they do all pretty well. The beer selection was a bit too generic for my tastes. They have craft beers, but I like more local selection. I would like to go back without being in a work environment to try them out.

I had the crab rangoon roll and the spicy salmon roll. I must say I was impressed with the quality of sushi for a bar. A friend had the bbq burger(huge) and waffle fries. She said it was good too. Service was ok, nice laid back atmosphere.

This was my first trip to Drakes to meet up with some friends. We sat in the back and the vibe was laid back. The beer list was pretty good and you could buy a 120 oz tube which looked appetizing. For 10 beers the prices seemed right. While I was there I had to try to the sushi. I got a simple order of fresh water eel Nigiri which came with 3 pieces. Not great but not bad(although I’m not a sushi snob I do eat a lot of it). When comparing this to some of my favorites it lands somewhere in the middle. PS– if anyone gets the fried bologna sandwich please let me know how it is. I wanted one really really bad but held back.

Beer. Burgers. Sushi. Yes, you heard me right. Where else in Indy can you find all three at a sports bar? I first went to Drake’s for an after work drink with some friends. It was summer time then and we enjoyed the patio seating. There is cornhole and giant Jenga on the sidewalk outside, as well as shuffle board inside, if you want to enjoy a drink and some friendly competition. It was much quieter on my first visit as this was a Tuesday and around the Happy Hour. I tend to like bars when they’re less crowded like this so as to better hear the conversations of my company. My second visit was in the winter, so no patio seating and it was on a busy Saturday evening. The place was much louder and crowded(obviously). I’m not a huge fan of the«Seat Yourself» style they have because it invites parties of two to sit at a huge table unnecessarily. This was rather frustrating for my group on my second visit because there weren’t any large sections open for our party. They were all occupied by groups of 2 – 3 people. Rather irksome. I tried the sushi portion of their menu. Not bad, especially for a place that does both sushi AND burgers. It’s certainly not the best sushi, but it’s not the worst either. It is, however, a little overpriced. I do expect to pay more for sushi, but at places that are known for their sushi like Kona Jack’s or Sakura. This is just a sports bar with sushi on the menu. My Midori Roll(Soy paper, tuna, salmon, avocado; w/eel sauce & spicy sauce) WAS good, so don’t get me wrong. I just don’t think it was $ 9 good. I also tried their seaweed salad… standard…no complaints… and their miso soup… also decent. My colleagues decided on the non-fishy part of the menu and all had burgers. I tried a bite of their beefy entrees, and like the sushi, it wasn’t bad, but wasn’t anything amazing. They did have some pretty good wings, which were dry rub style with Sriracha… nice and juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside! Good beer list. Nothing too crazy on tap, but a good selection for beer lovers. They have some interesting cocktails too. But, if you tend to like your mixed drinks on the boozy side, their bartenders sadly aren’t heavy-handed with their pours, so the cocktails have more mixers to them. You can also get sake(served hot or cold). Only one option for this, but I was rather impressed by the sake nonetheless. Overall, Drake’s is an okay place. I wouldn’t go out of my way to dine here. But, if you’re looking for a place that offers a little bit of everything, it’s not a bad option.

I finally tried the sushi from Aqua and and it was great! Although I am realizing crab is not my favorite seafood, the crab rangoon roll was crispy, creamy, and fried. They offer 3 nigiri in one order which is a little unusual but a terrific surprise. I’ve have the fish tacos and buffalo chicken bite sliders in the past. Loved the sliders, the fish tacos were a little weird. They got cold really quickly and the tortillas weren’t the best. I love the atmosphere at Drakes. Nice big garage doors to open up the place to the outside elements. Cornhole and lawn jenga if you are waiting for a spot in the bar, or just like playing games while you drink(yes please!). Our waitress this last time, Sarah, was hilarious. Gotta love when you enjoy the whole experience.

I’ve been to this place before for just a drink and thought, «cool place» but was never wow’d. This time, I also came for the food and figured I’d review it since I’ve had a pretty complete experience. First thing, this place is cranked up when it comes to music. I was expecting a little more of a calm bar but it was hard to hear someone directly next to you. It was great music and they had the music videos for the songs playing which I always love, but a bit loud if you want to hold a conversation. I feel that the way this place is setup with tables like a restaurant/bar, it is a bit confused in this sense by playing music loud like a nightclub. They have a decent selection of beers and a full bar for mixed drinks. Prices are what you would expect for this area which is a little over normal but not too bad. Food is where I think this place goes from 4 stars to 3 stars for me. It just didn’t wow me. The menu is completely bar food, which fits their ambiance(minus volume) but is priced on the higher end. $ 11 – 14 for appetizers belongs down the road at Harry and Izzy’s, not a place like this in my opinion. I ordered a seasonal item for Oktoberfest(Shnitzel) and it was very boring. Perfectly fine, but served with a bed of shredded lettuce covered in honey mustard. I felt like I was at some side of the road diner where they felt shredded lettuce in sauce was a salad. My buddy ordered the wings, which actually weren’t bad at all. They were fried and seasoned versus dipped in sauce which I like, but were so heavy on the salt in that rub they became impossible to eat after 4 or so. In the end, if this place wants to consider itself«high-end» it needs to lower the volume and get better food. If this place wants to consider itself a neighborhood bar, it needs to lower the prices and tone down the volume.

Great place to come for drinks after work! They have indoor and outdoor seating, and a wide variety of table sizes to accommodate different sizes of groups! Beer selection is pretty decent. I was really excited to see that they will be getting Three Floyd’s Gumball Head sometime soon! Appetizers were pretty standard, but we’re a good size for sharing! Chips with salsa/Guacamole came with unlimited refills on the chips, so that made for some good snacks to have on the table while drinking after work!

Pretty tasty Frickkes with a nice dipping sauce at Drakes. We have been here once before but it must not had been a memorable event for Jeff. I think it’s a cozy place to eat after furniture shopping. I’ll give an update when our other items arrive. It’s a great place to get fat. We must get moved into our new place fast!

Drake’s is a really good place to go after work! It has a bar type atmosphere, but in a good way. The seats are a bit odd(large picnic table type benches), but still comfortable. The drinks are fantastic! They have something called backyard porch punch(or something like that) that is served in a mason jar. It’s very unique and refreshing! They also have a very wide selection of beers. Their menu has changed several times since I have been there, but everything I have had has been delicious. Their sandwiches are fantastic, especially the California club(I believe that’s what it is called.) Chicken, bacon, avocado… so good! The service has always been awesome too. They have some games in the back(some type of shuffle board game and I think darts too). Late at night I think they have dancing in the back(they turned up the music and started some strobe/club lights when I was there late one weekend night), which doesn’t really fit in with the atmosphere. Regardless, this place is great! They even have a rewards program. Too bad I never remember to bring my card when I go!

I give the ambiance more than 5 stars and the food 4, so that averages out to a nice rating! Open-air awesomeness, great interior, good seating. Odd menu, but awesome! I went for the sushi. Fried calamari roll and Midori roll. Both really fresh, with great flavors! I would get again. I also tried the sweet potato waffle fries and while good, they are thin so there’s more crisp than doughy fry. Delicious, but I do like more fry than… fried lol. And a tad too much pepper. Left my lips tingly with spice. I do wish the soy sauce had a label of original or low-sodium. They put it in a cute whiskey bottle instead to go with the theme of the place.

Drake’s at Keystone is a fun casual spot! Great bar atmosphere, completely open air with corn hole and jenga games on the front walk. Super selection of beers, local craft brews, and full bar. We were there for half priced table taps — Hello! Patio Punch is yummy too. Menu has a lot more options than you might expect. California Cob was a huge portion and very fresh. Mini Buffalo Chicken Sliders had great flavor served with cole slaw. Great service, fast and friendly. Good parking. Big clean bathrooms. Lots of TVs with sports and music videos. Trivia games too! Definitely a fun spot!
