Edward Erotas, DDS

I am honestly appalled at the care and service I received from this dentist office. I was drawn to the office due to its location in my office building but it was definitely not worth the time and heartache. There are a multitude of downtown dental offices that would have suited me much better.
To start off, Dr. Erotas has a friendly demeanor, yes, but the work that was performed left my mouth in pain. Two and a half years later, I am still experiencing discomfort in my mouth due to a filling that caused misalignment in my jaw. My bite has been off and I am now in need of follow up care to correct the mistakes that Dr. Erotas and his staff made.
In addition, my billing was handled very poorly. I attempted to consolidate my debt and the office staff ignored correspondence from my consolidation company without notifying me of their decision. This created utter confusion with my account and it was almost sent to collections. Eventually, after humbly begging the office manager to work with me on my account, she finally «had mercy» on my soul and made a deal with me. I began to send in payments, monthly as promised, and she never sent a billing statement to me. I was ten days late on a payment (with only 3 months left in our agreement!) and she sent my account to collection without even contacting me.
The business practices of this office are neglectful, careless, and relentless. The staff person handling the billing is rigid and ignorant of customer service.
The dental work was just as careless — being a patient of Dr. Erotas has made my life much worse. That is a tall order — to actually MAKE my life WORSE. I recommend staying far away from this dentist. If you take more than 10 days to pay a bill you could end up in collections, or worse, you will walk away with a misaligned jaw and not a single competent staff person with whom to discuss your life-​altering concerns.
Note, also, that I have never given a Unilocal!review this horrendous. Dr. Erotas and his staff have really earned this one.

In all seriousness, I’ve always thought intelligence, capability, and friendliness were mutually exclusive attributes of dentists; Dr. E. proves otherwise.
Dr. Erotas leads a busy office, filled with super friendly staff. He offers intelligent direction via a calm demeanor. Somehow he’s even inspired me to floss daily!
The schedule is very accommodating, and the office conveniently located in the OneAmerica building downtown. Also, while you might think otherwise, I’ve yet to encounter serious parking issues.
Dr. E. came both highly recommended to me, and to the person who who referred me. Glad to see that «word of mouth» is alive and well!
