I went there today to shop for shoes. I’m giving it four stars because they didn’t have my size on a pair of shoes I liked, which seems to happen often at this store for me. However, I did find a pair of shoes that I liked and bought. They were on sale. They often have good sales. The staff was nice and even offered me a better coupon than the one I had.

After driving some distance, fighting construction, and waiting in line, while only 3 cashiers, who spent time gossiping, the wait approx. 15 minutes then was told the coupon of $ 19, and had can be used on shoes, then when finally got to cashier, was told ‘can not be used on athletic shoes’. Exception:?
Telephoned Manger, was very understanding, but comes from main office.
HORRIBLE waste of time.

I like to come here to shop for clothes. Low prices and lot of selections. Have a lot of sales so when you come during the right time you get a great bargain.

I only give this penny’s 3 stars because they have a sephora, and it easy to get to vs castleton sq. Penny’s in general was doing much better with their clothing selection a couple years ago. Now, at least this Penny’s is full of polyester, neon, and Alfred dunner. So if you don’t want to look like you put on your Sunday best or are 70+ years old this is the place to shop. Granted I never shopped much at penny’s before, but this store has a great location. It would be nice to see it rival kohls. A nice place to go to fill out a wardrobe – foundations and whatnot. I remember coveting the penny’s catalog toy section as a child – it would be nice to carry this love into my adulthood. On another random note why does penny’s have a shoe section??? – the buyer should be shot. People will pay for what you provide if it is of good quality penny’s needs to decide who they want to be Kmart or a department store.

WARNING. We (my wife and I) made our 1st visit to this location tonight to purchase a Christmas gift for co-​worker. We purchased the item that was $ 150 on a 50% off rack. They charged us the 50% off. but when we got home we went to remove the price tag and found it was a $ 150 sticker they had placed over the Manufacturer $ 100.00 sticker. When I called the store the managers answer was the manufacturer priced the items wrong so the store had to issue the correct price. Merry Christmas scam!!! Mark it up so you can «fake» a discount.

Great selection really good prices. Bright store, clean and well setup. Customer service… very very very bad. Never anyone on sales floor. The dress code is too lax to know who is an employee. When we made our way to the front to pay… the cashier was carrying on a conversation with a guest about her daughter or niece or something… instead of taking care of other customers. Even a manager was just standing there doing nothing. Just sad.

It’s a department store, what could possibly go wrong?
The store was organized and I had a very friendly employee ask if there was anything she could help me find. Which is always appreciated if they’re sincere, which she was.
I was however dissapointed that for being two days after Halloween there wasn’t a single ounce of Halloween clearence to pick over. Better luck next year.
