Did not have any gluten free bread as they advertise online. I was very disappointed and ended up having to eat a chunk of hamburger meet with ketchup and mustard. We were also not notified when they sat us. Our entire table got through apetizers before I was told they definitely did not have gluten free options. Very frustrating as I couldn’t make my entire table get up and leave

I came here based on Unilocal reviews while in town visiting and was SO disappointed. I love breakfast and usually not hard to impress with breakfast places, but this may have been the worst breakfast I have ever had. French Toast is my favorite food and this was just mediocre. Even the tiny cinnamon apples that came with it were sour and had the consistency of pudding. The coffee was absolutely disgusting, and I don’t really set a high bar for coffee anyway. I asked the server for a fresh pot and he kindly did, but the 2nd one was just as bad. It tasted like burnt dirt and had an AWFUL smell. The scrambled eggs were very wet and uncooked, but the bacon was great! So disappointed with this place. It’s a cute space, but even the very old chairs were wobbly when I sat down. The service was great, but beyond that, I would not recommend this place.

We eat breakfast here every other week as a group. Always a good meal. Friendly staff. No complaints at all! I love the Monte Blanc breakfast. Check it out and you will NOT regret it.

I would have give. this place 4 stars but it was not worth it ATALL. I received The Great American Breakfast and it looked/tasted like it came from a microwave. The egg has no marks of it being on a skillet, the turkey sausage was plain & wet for some reason almost rubbery. The potatoes were dry and my French toast was wet as well.

This is your typical breakfast place. The service was less than impressive but the prices are reasonable and the food was pretty good.

I’ve been coming here since I was little and it’s a classic, affordable breakfast/brunch place perfect for a family. There can be a bit of a wait at times but there are shops nearby to pass the time as well as benches outside. Absolute favorite is the king’s cakes — a flavorful, fluffy compromise between a pancake and a crêpe. Three cakes served with butter for 5.25, enough for two meals personally. The skillet meals are also good. When it gets busy the service can be a bit spotty but it’s still a perfect casual place to talk with your family and enjoy a classic breakfast.

Great, reliable breakfast, but use the call-ahead system. Like others, not much of a fan of the potatoes but everything else is wonderful!

The service was great. I ordered eggs, that came with bacon and potatoes. There were three in our group and everyone’s food was cold or Luke warm. Sorry we will not be going back.

Started out bad and continued in that direction… Stood at the front while call ahead seating was taken on the phone ahead of us for 10 minutes. When they finally acknowledged the people standing in front of them, they looked over my should to take the name of the couple that had just walked in behind me. When I mentioned that I hadn’t been helped, they snobbishly took my name as quickly as possible. I’m not sure why everyone else was greeted with a smile and I wasn’t, but it was a terrible way to start my morning. When we were finally seated, they put us in the sad two top table directly outside the kitchen. Not only did a couple servers almost spill food on me, but the rest of the staff awkwardly stood beside our table while waiting for their food. We ordered a sticky bun to start and it didn’t arrive for more than 30 minutes. After that, we continued to watch other tables that arrived long after ourselves enjoy their meals. When we finally got our meals an hour after being seated, the food was good but nothing spectacular. I could have made the same meal at home and saved time, money and rudeness. The only bright spot was our waiter, he gave us many updates and was very apologetic for the wait.

I love breakfast diners — so I was pretty excited that I found this restaurant super close to my hotel while I was visiting area. The food was just fine– I have had a better omelette and breakfast potatoes. The toppings on the omelette weren’t anything special. I don’t feel like there was much meat or cheese. Also the potatoes were dry. However, the flavor was great! They were seasoned. Would I go back? Sure! They had a HUGE menu and I would be willing to try a few more menu items. Their skillets sounded delicious!

I love Le Peep… you know why? They have the best FRENCHTOAST hands down! Loaded with almonds and granola. Good service, affordable prices and a friendly atmosphere. Get the french toast!

We tried the famous Skillets. Both of our meals were bad. Potatoes were extremely dry, I would have told the waitress if she ever came back to refill my coffee cup. There were plenty of others standing around talking, but no signs of our waitress. She did however pop back up, before we were done with our meal, and laid the bill on our table and told us to have a nice day. I guess that means were done here.

We had a great breakfast here last week, wife ordered a 3.50 cappuccino that was large and tasty. We shared an omelette plus French toast with vanilla and orange zest infused in the batter. Super friendly and fast service, and their food is always solid. We’ve eaten breakfast and lunch both at this le peep and we will be back for more. It’s almost across the street from the Sheraton at Keystone Crossing and in the midst of a lot of dining choices, so they have to bring a little extra to their game and they do. Prices are reasonable(both breakfast choices were under 8 bucks) and no issue to customize our potatoes that came with omelet! Solid choice if not super creative cuisine, at a reasonable price.

Le Peep is probably the first generation of «upscale» breakfast joints. As such it its menu is a bit dated. While this is certainly an update on the traditional diner(compare with say, Lou Mitchell’s in Chicago, which is the quintessence of a diner or some place like the Steer-in in Indy), it isn’t as creative as Patachou, let alone places you might find in Chicago. However, the food is fairly good. I like the granola pancakes and they serve pretty good ham. Why four stars? Because it is always clean, the service is always top notch, and you can almost always get in with no more than a 10 minute wait on a Sunday.

We visited for the first time on a Saturday around 11 a.m. We waited about 5 minutes or less and were sat. Servers were punctual, warm, and friendly without being overwhelming. I had the white lighting omelet while my husband went for one of the skillets. We split an order of the French toast. Overall, food was good and scrumptious. No complaints. I liked that they had more than just a few healthy options that weren’t boring. The French toast was good without being too sweet or too much. My omelet was spot on and the potatoes were good. Both of us know we will be back. Solid place.

A good, consistent breakfast/brunch choice for the price; nothing too fancy, gourmet or brulee’d, although you do find great, above-average ingredients such as avocado, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil… well, I find them in the Californian omelet that I order every single time I visit. I hate rating based upon one dish, but it felt appropriate in this case. I know I’m not going to find a tasty egg-white omelet with the Californian’s golden quin-fecta of ingredients for less than $ 10 anywhere else in Indy. I could create-my-own version of the Californian at Patachou for about $ 15 – 16, but most days, I’m feeling cost-prohibitive. The optional breakfast potatoes are a bit sad and may be formerly frozen, but I can usually doctor them up with a ton of hot sauce. Outside of the Californian omelet and delicious granola-blueberry pancakes, I haven’t experienced much else on the menu. I do not have anything negative to say about Le Peep in general. It has: good service, consistency, plenty of options for your more-picky diners, run-of-the-mill coffee, busy during prime weekend hours, and ample parking(at this location).

I went here for breakfast this past weekend. It seems as if it is very crowded on the weekends. I had to wait 20 minutes for a seat(it seemed as if everyone did though). Super crowded! It was a nice meal. I just wasn’t really WOWed. The food was good, but not something I will remember forever. It’s a decent place and not too expensive. I think that maybe next time I will try a different food item and I would be more excited…

This is a popular place for breakfast business meetings, and rightfully so, for the following reasons: 1) The food is pretty good, but not great. Let’s be honest — how great can eggs, omelettes, bacon, etc. be? 2) Service is almost instantaneous because they know many of their breakfast clients are there for business meetings. For example, water is on the table before customers get there. 3) Food orders are turned around very quickly — within a few minutes. You’re in and out quickly, the food is good, and the prices are reasonable.
