I go to Chipotle for higher quality meat and Qdoba when I’m lazy… but I save Moe’s for when I crave veggie nachos. Compared to its competitors, Moe’s has a wider range of fresh veggies for its Ruprict veggie nachos, including cucumber, fresh cilantro, and fresh jalapeño. You can almost trick yourself into thinking you’re eating a salad… almost. I also enjoy Moe’s salsa bar, which lets this salsa fanatic go even crazier with the verde and fresh Who-is-Kaiser salsa(much preferred to those miniscule salsa serving cups from other places). Moe’s was one of the first chains to offer the freestyle pop machines, the rare time I can enjoy a Diet Barqs w. vanilla added. I cringe when I hear the«Welcome to Moes» shouted out, but learned to suppress my cynicism for nacho rewards. Moe’s must know what it is doing, surpassing Chipotle as the top Mexican chain in national polls for the first time this year. Now if they could expand their Indianapolis locations beyond 10th St. and Carmel/Fishers…cough *Broad Ripple*.

This IUPUI location can be busy at the oddest times, and parking is a challenge. Nonetheless, their food is fresh, they have a nice variety of ingredients whatever your entrée choice might be, and the staff is pretty friendly. It’s a quick option when feeling a little Tex-Mex.

Had a first visit with friends and was impressed. It is basic Tex Mex but wonderfully fresh and the sauces are terrific. Generous portions and friendly pleasant service make me a fan. My wife took my left overs to work and became a fan at one removed.

I’ve been here several times over the last year and a half and have had nothing but good experiences. It can be busy on Mondays for lunch but that’s because it’s Moe Mondays so pretty much everything is $ 5! The people working are ALWAYS friendly and helpful. That is very important to me. Lots of options, multiple salsas, unlimited chips, good guac, etc. I ALWAYS leave full and satisfied!

Went here yesterday for lunch. Line was kind of long, but its weekday lunch time near campus and hospitals it was understandable. I don’t know why it took us so long to come here. I love Chipotle and I love Qdobo and this place has manage to combine both of what i love! The food portion was monstrous. My little 1 taco was more than enough for me. They will add whatever you want in that taco! Seriously it was looking pack like a mini burrito. My boyfriend ordered a quesdilla and it was yummy. It had so much cheese, and cheese makes life everything better. All the food comes with fresh warm chips! Also, we did the side of queso, not sure why its famous, it just tasted like regular nacho cheese. But if i had to choose between Qdobo or Moe’s, I am definitely going to Moe’s. Also, look for specials. They have specials for hospital employees on weekends, and jagtag specials on Thursday.

A lady named Jennifer served my boyfriend and I and she was absolutely fantastic! Friendly, efficient, and gave hearty portions! We’ve had some bad experiences at Moe’s, particularly with extremely small portions but she has restored our faith. We will be coming back soon. Thanks Jennifer!

Well, I used at Moes when we didn’t have a downtown chipotle. I feel their food is very average although the place isn’t bad.

The food is always very good, the staff is even better though. I ordered my meal online hoping to skip the line when I got there. My food was ready when I got there, unfortunately it was cold, before I even got it the guy who was working there told me it was cold and remade it with no charge.

There are only a small handful of restaurants in my out for lunch grab bag. Moe’s is one of them. It’s cheap, fast and very very fresh. I usually get a kid’s meal size burrito but every time I’m there on a Monday the friendly people behind the counter always remind me I could get any size for $ 5. I’m honored that they want to fatten me up but I usually stick to the smaller sized bundle of edible goodness. I make up for it by destroying the complimentary tortilla chips & salsa bar.

I want to like this place, I really do. Nice staff and all that. But the food… aww man, two words for you: BORING! Bad combinations of weak/muted flavors. Ho hum watery tomato purée passed off as «mild salsa». No real flavor or anything to get excited about food wise. To me this place is just another fast food chain, and not even a good one.

I appreciate the fact that they have tofu as an option and a variety of other things I haven’t seen at the OTHER quickie Mexi place. They offered to sautee up some fresh mushrooms since I’m a vegetarian – thought that was quite nice. I also love that there is a salsa bar, rather than feeling like you’re being rationed while adding plastic to the landfills.(shame on you, Q-you-know-who). And the people are friendly enough.

OHNOMOE! Why did you let me down?! I didn’t have the greatest experience ordering online, so I thought I would try it again. I requested extra napkins and specifically a fork. They didn’t have any last time, but I was at home, so not a big deal. Well I’m at work with no fork and staring at a burrito bowl with out a utensil. Luckily my coworker had one. I hate to drop you down a star Moe, but surely you could spare a fork or two?

It’s a chain, and the food is pretty standard among all locations so that is not the focus of my review.(Although, I have to say it was mighty tasty and I loved their junior burrito!) This location is cramped. As in, if you’re sitting a table and someone sits and the table behind you, you will be bumping chairs. Only skinny people should choose to sit at the tables in the center! We saw the lunch rush, and the line was really backed up. Any place that assembles your meal in front of you will require a wait, so just expect that. There is parking in the rear, but be quick because you only have 45 minutes before you have to pay! PLUS: They deliver for lunch!

Let me break this down for you in lame business presentation style: Pros: 1. Tasty Burritos 2. Tasty Chips 3. Coke Freestyle Machines(Vanilla COKE!) 4. Free chip sauces 5. $ 6 for burrito, chips, and drink. SAYWHAT 6. All dead people music Cons: 1. Inhabitants who would ever dare complain about this place. FORSHAME! Love Moe’s, just had it for the first time, certainly wont be the last. Much love

I love Moe’s, and I was thrilled to find out that one opened right by my house. This location is small and parking can be difficult because the few street spots are usually taken. There is also a garage directly behind the restaurant that does not charge for the first 45 minutes. This restaurant can get very crowded, which results in limited seating and long lines. I’ve also noticed that some of the staff members are unfamiliar with the menu and work very slowly. This is quite problematic when you’re in a hurry(and trying to avoid paying for your parking spot). These are the only faults that I find with this particular restaurant. The food is excellent – everything you’d expect from Moe’s. As an added bonus, they have one of those fancy soda fountains(where you can add flavors to your drink. In all, eating at this Moe’s location is a worthwhile experience.

WELCOMETOMOE’S! (they passionately scream their greeting… every time) I like Moe’s a lot! It’s just different enough from Qdoba and Chipotle for me to have a specific craving for it(I think the aforementioned two are too similar). A couple things I really enjoy about Moe’s: 1) You can get a small burrito, either flour or whole grain. Look up the nutrition… it saves you some serious calories. 2) Their rice is mexi-rice, and less oily than Qdoba/Chipotle 3) Their chicken is FAR superior 4) The queso is to die for! And if I keep eating it in these quantities, it really will be :( 5) They have some nice/interesting topping choices: cilantro, black olives, onions and peppers SEPARATE! And, they have raw & carmelized onions. 6) FREE chips & salsa with your meal A couple oddities: Their burrito menu items have actual names and shit. Ordering at Qdoba/Chipotle is much simpler. But, you can just say: «I want a small, chicken burrito» and they’ll get you hooked up. AND…drumroll… they have the Coke Freestyle machines. The absolute COOLEST soda fountain on the planet. You can mix/match any soda with any additive(vanilla, cherry, etc) to get over 100 possible combinations. And, apparently, these are supposed to calibrate the syrup to CO2 mixture almost perfectly. And, you do all this cool mixing via a touchscreen. They are super cool… except for when you need to reboot them… like my last visit. But totally worth it if you’ve not experienced the awesomeness. OK, back to Moe’s. Definitely give it a shot.

I bought the Homewrecker burrito with ground beef. With free chips and salsa thrown in, it’s a better deal than Qdoba. It even had a self-service salsa bar, which is awesome, though. Unfortunately, it didn’t have any Habanero salsa, which Qdoba does have. And that’s w/o the drink, which comes in one of those digital vending machines, which have tons of Coca-Cola products, that you wouldn’t normally get at any other fast food joint(yet). The place was very clean too. The staff was nice too. Another problem is that I’d have to go all the way downtown in order to eat there. All in all, I’m a fan.
