Went to Pearings while at a conference in Indy. The food was as fantastic as the service. :D Raymond answered all my questions so kindly which lead me to a much needed refreshing, filling, nourishing shake. I would recommend Pearings to anyone looking to be WELL fed.

Pearings is a nice local treat that won’t break the bank. I can’t divulge on their Froyo(although I LOVE that they use Trader’s Point Creamery), but their juice and smoothie options hit the spot! I went out on a limb and tried the Beauty and The Beast; skeptical of how the carrots, cucumber, and cayenne would mesh, but it was refreshing! We also tried Gilligan and Skipper– a mango, pineapple, and coconut smoothie; this was sweeter and perfect for a summer day. I can’t wait to try their food options next!

Pearings is a go-to spot for me and my boyfriend for a little froyo. They have a great selection of flavors and toppings at prices that are reasonable with other froyo places. They have a new juice bar which I have not been able to try, but I hear from employees that it is doing well! An annoyance with pearings is they will close sooner than the published time if they aren’t busy or due to weather. I have also tried to go about 20 minutes before closing and they are no longer making smoothies because they are getting ready to close. So beware!

Really delicious froyo, but the service was not what we expected, at all. We had to request for someone to come offer us sample cups and it seemed to be a huge inconvenience for him. The toppings were incorrectly labeled, and I would have asked the cashier to help me figure out which was which but as she was clearly giving us the cold shoulder we just bypassed the toppings and left as quickly as we could.

Wow, what a surprise! This place has so much to offer. They have everything from a juice bar to an oatmeal bar, raw juices to coffee, and crepes to paninis. I tried: –Gilligan & Skipper Smoothie: mango, pineapple, and coconut –Lavender Honey, nitro-made cold brew coffee with foam that makes it look like a beer(sooo incredible and unique!) –savory crêpe with turkey, bacon, cheese, and egg– such a nice change to usual breakfast! The wifi is free, works well, and has no password. The staff welcome every single person into the store with a friendly«hello.» The decoration is super cool and there is a lot of room to work(including a massive twenty person work table). A lot of people came in during their lunch break to enjoy fro-yo with coworkers and lounge on the nice patio. I’ll definitely be back!

Treat yo-self to some fancy sweet treats! I always have a huge sweet tooth, so I was excited to try this place located right on the downtown strip. When I first walked in, I was expecting it to be just another chain-like yogurt place, but I was totally wrong! Pearings Café + Frozen Yogurt is a local frozen yogurt business that provides customers with a wide-array of options, including frozen yogurt(obviously), coffee made from Arabia coffee beans, customized crepes, and even wraps made with«farm fresh» veggies and meat! My favorite part about Pearings was the décor. My friends and I sat in the corner next to the wall filled with small pictures of local residents enjoying Indianapolis. It was awesome getting to enjoy my frozen yogurt while looking at all of the photos. With the weather getting warmer, definitely stop in to get cool down with some frozen yogurt!

Pearings earns two stars for having tasty fro-yo, but loses the remaining three stars for the following: –You have to request that the staff come to the fro-yo machines and give you samples. Not only are they not staffed for this, but it’s ridiculous not to just hand customers two sample cups and let them try on their own. –They were completely out of popular toppings on a Saturday evening. Almost all fresh fruit, peanut butter cups, cookie dough, etc. It was almost impossible to even ask the staff if they had any in the back, as they were often too busy helping other customers sample or check out. –Customer service was severely lacking. You could tell the whopping two staff members there were overworked and could hardly keep up with the customers, let alone put a smile on their face or speak in a pleasant tone.

This place is awesome to hang out… very nice ambiance. Check it out when you’re in downtown Indy! I was able to try samples in these cool shot glasses and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The coffee lacked in flavor for my taste but the barista was very nice to suggest something great!

Oh, Pearings, how you’ve stolen my heart with your variety of offerings, in addition to some of the best interior décor in Indy. Walk in, look around, and check out the photos, designs, and place before you purchase as it has a lot to see — it’s beautiful. Perfect for you Unilocal photographers! Why do I love Pearings? 1– it’s local. 2– they have an amazing variety of froyo and toppings.(Behind the wall by the froyo is more toppings FYI!) 3– they offer coffees and teas and drinks of all sorts. 4– the offer beer! 5– they have a nice patio to people watch along the Cultural trail 6– the staff is always friendly, and 7– the interior décor is an obsession. Never checked it out before? Bookmark and be sure to add it to your list for a variety of reasons — brews, froyo, pastries, coffees/teas, sandwiches, etc.

Nice place for studying with street view :). Also, the mint tea is my favorite but don’t leave it for long time, its taste will change.

Was craving a little late night snack and Pearings Café is conveniently next to monument circle — about 5 minute walk from my apartment on Pennsylvania. There was a good selection of unique flavors and the employees were really nice about giving us samples. I ended up ordering a Froyo Frappé with Caramel flavoring and loved it. It’s on the sweet side but that’s usually how I like it. I was there around 9pm and there was plenty of comfortable seating around. While sitting there, my fiancé and I noticed a group of rude, difficult customers in the store. The person working there handled the situation well and remained to be kind to them. Kudos to them for being able to deal with those people.

Very, very good frozen yogurt. At first glance, it may seem like Pearings is trying to do too much by selling fro yo, coffee, crepes and other breakfast and lunch items. But they seem to do it all well. I think the yogurt is a little pricier than some other places, but since this is now pretty much the only froyo place in the downtown area, I guess they can charge more. Their topping bar is impressive. The flavors are awesome — triple chocolate, peanut butter and carmel pretzel are some of the best. Definitely a great place to stop if you’re wandering downtown and want something sweet!

Froyo. Crepes. Craft Beer. Coffee. What more do you need??? My favorite place in Indy, really cool atmosphere, super friendly staff, great seating arrangements. I go to Butler and drive all the way downtown and even pay for parking just to hang out and study here. This is probably the only place where I will happily pay to park.

Although some may think Pearings if just another fro yo shop, it isn’t. Yes they do have fro yo with a good selection, toppings and a divider to put in your cup to have more than one flavor without them mixing, but they have so much more. A nice selection of local beers are on tap with a different one on special every day plus coffee, crepes, waffles and shakes. A little bit of everything. Great place, I would recommend trying it out!

I’d love to see pearings expand throughout Indianapolis. The reason? They have tart fro yo!!! Not just the cake batter, frosting, and typical overly sweet flavors. Even after I’m stuffed from a Indianapolis meal, I often find myself at pearings to satisfy my sweet tooth. Their toppings are pretty fresh. The staff is prompt and polite. They also sell and serve Intellegensia coffee which may be the only place in Indiana to do so! Atmosphere wise, it feels like a restoration hardware like. It’s a great place to hang out for a bit and Indy people watch.

I biked to Pearings for a Hack Night, laptop slung over my shoulder, and was psyched to find bike parking immediately in front of the shop, with large windows and easy visibility from inside. I can see why Girl Develop It picked this place. It was very easy to meet and mingle with the long central bar; the sound level and music were also perfect to hunker down and get some good work done. And open until 10? In the winter, that feels like midnight! To me, fro-yo spots don’t usually invite you to linger. Between the typical disposable dish and air conditioning after a frozen dessert, it seems they want to send you out the door. Not so at Pearings! I ordered a cider, a *pear* cider, and it was brought to me on a classy wooden tray with accompanying glass. I sipped at that frosty beverage for an hour without a shiver and felt thoroughly welcomed and unrushed. Also, this place is cute as hell!(I really enjoyed Instagram stalking them to see the early posts as they renovated the space and unboxed their machines.)

One of my favorite places downtown to get snacks! It’s a fro-yo place, sure, but it’s so much more. They make crepes(both desert and sandwich-like) and paninis. The meat and cheese often comes from the famous Indy butcher shop, Goose the Market. The paninis are some of my favorite and only around $ 5 or so, for some primo meat. It’s a bit on the small side, but a great snack. If you want something sweet, get a crêpe. Know that you can mix and match outside of the menu. For example, I always get a strawberry crêpe :) There’s plenty of drink options as well. New Day mead, craft beer, and coffee. Plus, smoothies!

I’ve been here many times, usually for Froyo. I think this is definitely the best Froyo downtown. The toppings and flavors are superior and the have the free dividers which are GENIUS. On top of that they have intelligentsia coffee, a good beer list and their paninis are tasty! It might seem like this place does too many things, but I think they do it all well, so no complaints here! To top it off, the spot it very comfortable and great fr meeting up with people or just hanging out and using the wifi. All in all a good spot downtown.

Ah, Froyo. I love frozen yoghurt and I love options. Sometimes, too much is a bad thing, but that’s why I love how you can put as much as you want! I’ve been to my fair share of froyo places, but they tend to have more Asian flavors like taro or black sesame. Here? They have imaginative AMERICAN flavors like Orange Dreamsicle and Blueberry Pecan Pie. Same concept of unlimited toppings, though, and they’re pretty similar as well, though they have other items like cereal and granola as well. I actually struggled a bit when I came in. The staff were busy taking care of orders so I stood by the menu and alternated between studying that and staring at the extensive toppings bar. Then I got distracted by something else. I finally realised that the actual yogurt was behind me. I knew the staff saw me, but I guess they thought I knew how it worked. Would have been nice if they asked me if it was my first time or needed help. I mean, someone can’t be so indecisive to stare at the menu and then toppings for 3 minutes, right? First, I wanted a smoothie, but I already had a smoothie that morning. I was curious about the Froyo Float and was amused by the Beer Float. I saw the crepes(very reasonably priced at around $ 4 each), but I wanted something cool… though I was tempted by those as well. I can’t say anything about the size, but if I came again, I’d probably try one with a smoothie. I ended up going for a custom froyo. Something new that they offer are these little dividers to prevent your yoghurt flavors from combining. I added one just for fun, even though they don’t really work for me. I love all sorts of flavors and I love trying new things, so I usually have around 4 flavors or so. I added two flavors in each of the two compartments and threw some toppings on top. Their froyo tastes like most of the froyo places I’ve been to. The flavors were unique to them and mostly distinct. It was good — can’t really complain. If I lived in the area, I’d definitely come by if I needed a froyo fix. Hubby got his iced coffee — cold brew. He’s curious about that. He thought it tasted fine… I think he still prefers his coffee hot and black. I tasted it as well since I prefer cold drinks. It tasted a little different. I’m not a coffee connoisseur by any means though I used to drink it a lot(Hubby drinks more than enough for the two of us now), I thought it tasted a little different. Smoother? Different undertone? Either way, it wasn’t a bad thing. It also seems like they use Intelligentsia coffee. I’m not familiar with this brand, but I heard of it a lot when I started research of coffee places to visit while visiting the Midwest. All in all, I love their choices. After you order, they bring it to you(unless you designed your own froyo treat). The place was pretty large and clean with a good amount of customers coming in and out. It would have been nice if they were less passive with their service, though. Despite that, they were pretty nice when they did help.

I go here at least twice a week. The espresso here is absolutely flawless, with beautiful aromas and rich flavors. Definitely above corporate chains like Starbucks where you’re paying out of the ass for dairy that takes up ¾ of your drink! Pfft, that doesn’t even count as coffee anyway. This is one of the only places I know of in Indianapolis that serves their espresso options properly, often accompanied by sparkling water under the appropriate circumstances and portions. Their snacks and crepes are as crisp and unprocessed as can be; so many healthy choices. Their frozen yogurt is on point, and the acoutrements range from granola, to boba, to fruit, to candy, ect. Anything you’d want. Food aside, the décor is pretty too and I’m a sucker for that. :P

Best FroYo ever! Complimentary dividers, all the frozen yogurt flavors you can think of, and toppings GALORE! All the candies, fruits, cereals, cookies, etc. that you can think of — they have it! I couldn’t think of one thing they didn’t have! Oreos, cheesecake bites, 3 different kinds of Reese’s, sprinkles, cinnamon toast crunch, fruity pebbles, strawberries, flavor balls — EVERYTHING! And on top of that great selection — the customer service is phenomenal and the store is in mint condition! Very clean, very modern, and very comfortable. Love the view to the street and the furniture layout! Absolutely recommend this place above all other FroYo places in Indy! Check it out! (Oh and they have coffee, cereal, oatmeal, pastries, and beer. Does it get any better?)

This was my second visit to Pearing’s and I just love this place. In a city over saturated with Fro Yo establishment very few stand out. Pearing’s definitely stands out. Some places the yogurt tastes artificial, but this Fro yo is so delicious. The price is comparable to other places. Additionally, they are a café so they offer an assortment of pastries, salads, and sandwiches. I enjoyed the laid back environment and modern décor. Not too mention, this spot had a live DJ not too long ago. This is definitely my kind of place! If you are every downtown, this place is definitely worth checking out!
