I haven been here in over a year and definitely seems to have lost some quality. I always get the lettuce wraps. It seems to make the food fresher. The wait time is ridiculous. My so recommends the fried rice. Really needs to work on cleanliness. The tur around time on vacant tables is poor.

I have been coming here since they opened a few years ago. It used to be you got a plate of food and a bowl of rice. Now you get a plate of rice with 1⁄3 of the protein on top. And that’s their ‘original’ plate size. The prices have gone up too. The pork eggs rolls were awful. Tasted like there was something wrong with the pork. Very disappointing, I used to love this place.

Pei Wei has had its share of ups and downs. When I first visited 2 years ago, they were on point. I remember being so excited to tell my husband about it. Then I visited again a few months later and the same excitement had gone down quite a bit. I’m not sure if they were hiring a new chef or something but everything didn’t taste good and was serving smaller portions then my first visit. My husband came and waited for quite a while once and then was given the wrong order. It was brought to the attention of management they took care of it immediately and apologized. They even mailed him to gift cards for two free entrées for his trouble. For the last year I have not really had any complaints. And since I started working down the street, I’ve had more opportunities to visit more frequently. And I have to say, I really enjoy coming in. The ladies at the front are always friendly when I come in. The food is great, always so fresh. My favorite is the fried rice with shrimp, tofu & extra veggies. When I want something a little different, I order the Kung Pao sushi rolls. They’re so delicious. Dip them in the Sriracha sauce. All in all, Pei Wei’s good food and it isn’t expensive. Two people could eat off of one entrée; I always have left overs. Word to the wise: join the rewards program; keep your receipt-take the survey for a free cookie

I never plan to go to Pei Wei; I just kind of seem to end up there with friends while we’re in the Glendale area. I don’t often eat Asian cuisine, but this is where I go if I’m craving it. My go-to is sweet and sour chicken or orange chicken; both are served with veggies on a bed of rice or lettuce. This place gets PACKED quickly, especially during dinner hours. My group snagged the last four top around 6pm. You order at the counter, get a number, and they bring the food to your table. I appreciate that they have menus on a screen as you wait in line and at the counter, so you’re prepared to order. My food came out pretty quickly, too, despite the busyness. It’s nothing to rave about but solid if you need a bite to eat. My cashier didn’t seem to know what she was doing which hindered traffic at the counter.

Stopped by this place last night after a long evening of searching for a tire for my truck. Me and my date were starved and he wanted to try Pei Wei so I figured it was worth a shot. My last experience with them was horrible and I swore I wouldn’t be back, but since my guy was interested and I was starving for something I hadn’t already eaten another version of(i.e. hamburgers), I thought to self ‘why not’ with a shrug and a smile. This review will be real short because there isn’t much different from the last one except the amount of seseme seeds on my chicken. I don’t trust them enough to try anything else on the menu, so I stuck w/what I knew. He ordered the Sirachi Chicken. We opted to dine in. I will post pictures of the amount of people in the building dining in. Maybe they had an abudance of people calling on the phone for orders that had yet to arrive to pick up. I’m not really sure what the problem was and at least our server apologized for it when she finally came to us with our food but we waited OVERTHIRTYMINUTES for our food. Is that not long? Am I tripping ?? If that’s acceptable to you, then chance it with them. But to me, especially for a fast food joint that I’ve been to before w/o waiting for the next episode of Modern Family to come on before I could eat, it was unacceptable. THe food was really good. I will give that to them. It was piping hot(as it should have been 30 minutes after we ordered), but there was a little too much sauce… again. It’s ok, it will all dry up and absorb w/the leftovers. But that wait… we were just so confused because there was not many people in there WITHOUT food. There weren’t many people waiting on takeout. No more than two people or so it seemed. I mean, I have waited in a RESTUARANT for 30 minutes, which is full of orders(dining in & carryout) and diners. Maybe others were shopping at Target and came back to pick their stuff up. Sounds like a better idea than waiting in the dining room for over a half hour while listening to your stomach tell you how much you suck at life. Oh well. That’s officially it for me. My date enjoyed the food but we both agreed that it was not worth the wait. For 30 minutes, I should be at PF Changs; not a hot plate version of it. I wish them well. *waves goodbye from PF Chang’s parking lot *

Been a fan for yrs, first ate at on west coast. But today… Wow… Egg rolls dripping in grease. Tasteless pad thai. Thinking of returning it. But will think twice before returning

Don’t eat here the food sucks so bad and it’s very expensive. I will never eat here again. There are way too many places to eat around Broad Ripple –how is this place in business.

I went here for the first time today. The service was great which is why I gave 2 stars instead of one. The person at the front was very helpful and friendly. The food was awful. I ordered Pad Thai to go. The noodles were black(burnt) and tasted charred. There was no flavor because the burnt flavor completely took over. Not impressed and I will not be back.

This is one of my new favorites to go to. Their Kung Pao is great. They have a small sushi menu. I’ve only tried one of the selections and it was good. They offer healthy alternatives and serve adult beverages. I’ve only ordered to go, but the service has always been delightful and it always seems to be busy. Prices are reasonable as well.

I am giving Pei Wei 3 stars simply because their Pad Thai was somewhat decent for a non-Thai restaurant. When I ordered Pei Wei, I got the pad Thai as well as the Thai style lettuce wraps. First and foremost, I could only take a couple bites of the lettuce wraps due to the fact that they were too salty. Besides that, there was nothing extraordinary or completely terrible about it.

oh my goodness I wish we had a PeiWei on the Southside. When my husband and I get into the Keystone area this is our stop. yes it is a chain but everything is made fresh to order and with fresh veggies. Hubby got the Kung Pao Tofu– perfect balance of veggies and sauce(because someplaces the sauce is weak and you don’t get to enjoy it on the rice). I tried the Thai Dynamite Tofu– covered in a sriracha soy sauce(who doesn’t love sriracha) and plenty of bell peppers. We both had a spring roll that is served with this amazing sweet chile sauce that you basically want to drink if you dont use it all :)

I visited Pei Wei for the first time on a Monday night at 5pm. I was the only customer in the restaurant. There were at least three employees. I ordered my food for takeout at the front door before I saw the condition of the restaurant. When I was there I used the restroom, which had not had any attention all day. Even though the restaurant looked new, it was filthy. There were at least 3 tables that had not been bussed in over a half an hour. The floor needed to be spot swept. The fixtures were dusty. The standards of health and cleanliness seem to be a low priority. My food was good, but the atmosphere was awful.

More like 2 ½ stars. I am not impressed by this place. I think it’s a little overpriced for fast food Chinese food it’s just like a cheaper version of PF Changs but not as good. I wish I could say nicer things but I’ve had their food three or four times now and it’s never been that good. I would highly recommend going to a local place right down the street from here called JS gardens, it’s way better

In terms of options around SoBro for Chinese, in my experience this has been one of the best. The staff is consistently quick in service, friendly and helpful. The food is consistently served quickly and tastes excellent. Overall, this is an excellent spot for lunch or dinner; bringing customers the quality to be expected from P.F. Changs.

Pro: Good place for fast food. Nice and clean, service is good, and staff are helpful. If you wanna something to eat fast, this would your place to go. Like how they have the menu layout. Smart! Con: Definitely not authentic Chinese food nor good Asian food. If you wanna real Asian or Chinese food, this place won’t work for you! Food is tooooooooooooooo salty that I couldn’t finish eating.

This was my 4th time to eat here and all 4 times it has been bad. Today I got the sweet and sour shrimp and everything on the plate including the brown rice tasted like char grilled hamburger. There was nothing sweet not sour about it just an over whelming smoke flavor. My husband got the teriyaki chicken and it was just fried chicken in teriyaki sauce. We told the manager and he said that that is how it is supposed to taste. In other words he did not care. While we were eating our not so good food the lady at the table next to us got up and got her own food because it had been sitting there for 15 minutes getting cold. I like to give restaurants atleast 3 to 4 chances because everyone can have a bad day we’ll this was it’s 4th bad day so I will not be back.

Will we be back??? It was an hour and change before closing when we arrive. A carry-out order was being gathered for waiting guest. We stepped up to a register to view the menu on the screen. The carry-out order guests paid for their food and left. We waited several more minutes before we were greeted and could place our order. It has been years since I have been to a Pei Wei… and after my husband’s bad experience at a family owned Chinese food restaurant I thought this corporate restaurant would be a safer. We placed our order and got our drinks and sat down. The food started coming out the open kitchen. My Hot & Sour Soup was a thick… way too thick. The Spring Roll and Egg Rolls were GREASY!!! They had already started to shut down for the night and people were still rolling in… their was no soy sauce on the tables. Before we could even bit into the rolls, the main entrées were on the table. These were better than what we had expected. But I don’t think we will be back, it wasn’t that good.

Pei Wei is fine. Not good, not bad. You can’t complain about authenticity at a place affiliated with P.F. Changs, ya know? It gets the job done. It’s definitely not a place you’re going to want to go to if you’re looking for legit Asian food or amazing sushi, for example. However, this place is very clean and the food is consistent for the most part. My only complaint with previous experiences, and it isn’t really a big deal, is that the veggies are hardly cooked most of the time. Don’t get me wrong, fresh green veggies are always appreciated over overcooked mush depleted of all nutritional value. Some people might prefer theirs less molto al dente, though. I usually get the Thai Dynamite with tofu and veggies with extra limes. The sauce is the best thing about this: very flavorful and tangy. Fried rice isn’t too bad either and I actually really like their iced Chai tea. Good place to go over food-court Asian, if that says anything.

Heard this is a test market spot for PF Changs, This is a bistro style place with great prices on PF Changs food! I had the chicken and lettuce wraps, as good as always. My guests had huge portions of food also and nothing was over $ 10.

This place is recommended to me by my sister. This place is «American-Asian», more towards the American side. Their menu is so simple to pick from. They even have gluten-free menu It does not take long for the food to be prepared. The food taste good, but from the two orders we ordered, the Pei Wei Shrimp and Kong Pao steak, they used a lot of sauce or starch in their sauce. The frien rice is super thick, they used a lot of oil. Overall, I like it but I wish if they cut down on the sauce they use or even thin it out.
