Really affordable. Such beautiful merchandise, and the lady at the counter was really nice. I got a scarf there printed with elephants. I think it was $ 12. This place is also home to what is now my favoritest knit hat ever, and at $ 10, I might go back next fall and get it in other colors!

Tiny shop, filled with cheaply made imports… Not fair trade… So the items you are buying are very likely made for(LITERALLY) pennies by people living in poverty in Tibet… Additionally, the quality of these items is terrible and the prices are too high for what basically amounts to junk… If you want these types of items(but at higher quality… and perhaps slightly higher prices), I suggest checking out either location of Global Gifts… As for me, I won’t be back to this particular establishment, and I suggest anyone with any global awareness/conscience not go either. P. S. Cashier was incredibly rude when I questioned her about the fair trade status of the items in her store. She definitely seems a little… special. And I mean that in not a good way at all.

This place is a gem. They’re currently running a stellar deal on their wool Tibetan made winter hats & gloves. You know… the ones with the patterns, the ear flaps and the woven extra string that at the top of the hat… yeah, those. They’re $ 15 for the hat & $ 15 for the gloves /mittens. If you’re looking for alternative jewelry options… this place is a start. Along with coats, shirts & dresses, too. More people in Indy should dress this style that aren’t cloaked in pachouli & hemp. I met the owner once… he’s a guy who travels to Tibet frequently, and the goods sold here are made in Tibet.

I had no idea Shop Tibet was in Broad Ripple. What a great store! I purchased several items, almost all of which are now in my Broad Ripple office. The Nawang Khechog CD, however, is in my car. I’ll be back.

Zen lands in Broad Ripple, a new cute little shop, West catercorner of the Firehouse, it’s more than a jewelry store, it’s Buddhist paintings, teas, elephant charms, dharm items, books, bells, & even Clothing(with a dressing room, remember those are Far Eastern sizes)!!! Dolma is so nice, helpful, & taught me how to read & say those FABULOUS prayer cloths Free Tibet!
