I have eaten there on many occasions and never had a sub-standard meal and in today’s world that is pretty amazing. The prices are a little high, but given the quality of the atmosphere, food and service it is well worth it. I actually prefer it to Ruth’s Chris, the surroundings are a little more comfortable and the steaks have more flavor. The next time we are in Indy we will be stopping by.

Really really good steak and service tonight. Mashed potato and macaroni sides were okay, but their garden salad was probably my favorite and that says something when it’s stacked up against those sides. The shallot dressing made it– don’t by pass the salad here!

Why does one set a reservation at 745? To eat at 745. Still waiting. 830! Rectified by Hal and Corina. We’ll be back.

What a great night! My two friends and I attended the Woodford Reserve Bourbon dinner! It was a lot of fun! Started out with mint julep’s and appetizers and a salad, the main course was a 14 ounce New York strip with Parmesan au gratin potatoes, and dessert was a salted caramel brownie with bourbon ice cream! Everything was paired with a tasting of bourbon. For the price I may have anticipated a slightly larger taste of the bourbon, but nonetheless everything was great! The end of the evening with a drawing for two bottles of Woodford reserve made for the Kentucky derby… They only make 600 bottles — I was a winner! They also gave a gift bag which included to Woodford reserve glasses! Certainly looking forward to the next dinner!

Let me first start of by saying the ahi tuna was the best I had yet! The bourbon dinner wine and dine event was über sophisticated and fun! The boyfriend even won a limited edition Kentucky derby 2016 bottle of Woodford reserve bottle of bourbon in a raffle. The staff was bomb and I can’t wait to visit again!

Another very good meal & service experience. Tonight was the 4th time in as many months I have been here for dinner. I have been meaning to do a review each time but because I am in town for business I get busy and then forget. Each time the service & food has been great. I enjoy extra anchovies on a Caesar Salad and they always accommodate. The steaks have been very good and cooked perfectly each time. There has not been a side dish that I did not like — mushroom caps and creamed spinach are especially good. I did the fixed price menu the last time and it was a great deal!

Honestly, I feel like Indy has so many greattt steakhouses… I wasn’t that impressed by Sullivan’s. The service is definitely * * * * * but I was underwhelmed by the steak itself. However, I love their philly cheesesteak egg rolls! Definitely give them a try but remember that Keystone is a busy mall over the weekend so you will likely have to wait unless you make a reservation!

I had a reservation at 8pm. I left furious at 850 with my brother from out of town after a disrespectful run around when we were told we still had 9 tables ahead of us to be seated EVENWITH our 8pm RESERVATION!!! What’s the point of taking reservations if you don’t honor them??? I WILLNEVERCOMEBACK after a that! What a crappy spot to be put in by a disrespectful business. Turned out to be serendipitous because my party ended up having a fabulous meal and experience at my new favorite place for Premium Steak — Late Harvest Kitchen at Keystone at the Crossing. The Ribeye with Bone Marrow at Late Harvest was exceptional. Late Harvest has a tremendous advantage in the marketplace since Sullivan’s spends big $ to bring people in Sullivan’s door then Sullivan’s disrespects and offends those people. That turns out to actually liberate those offended and disrespected former Sullivan’s customers from Big Box steakhouses like Sullivan’s. That careless and disrespectful behavior by Sullivan’s frees those disrespected former Sullivan’s customers to discover fantastically unique yummy factories like Late Harvest. As Mr Wonderful from Shark Tank says, «You’re Dead to Me» Sullivan’s.

It’s been a few years, since I’ve dined here. We had a company lunch here recently for the holidays. Food and overall experience was ok. I had the 6 oz. filet mignon for lunch with mashed potatoes and haricot verts. If I had to describe the meal, it was lackluster. My steak was cooked incorrectly. A request for medium rare/rare plus(which was even confirmed by the server) turned out to be medium well. Blah. For a steakhouse to get it wrong is just a faux pas in my book. At least the company was great!

I would have given Sullivan’s 5 stars until our most recent visit now that we have a newborn resulted in discovering there is no changing table in the women’s restroom. So, now we won’t be frequenting nearly as much as many of our other favorite restaurants aren’t lacking that availability. Otherwise, the atmosphere, food, drinks, and service are always on point at Sullivan’s.

I’ve loved this place since Happy Hour days of steak medallions and garlic mash. Hadn’t been in 4 years and for the first time formally dinner for dinner. The restaurant ambiance is so relaxing and dimly lit. Great warm temp too. I ordered the knockout signature drink and filet mignon w/garlic mash. Also garlic meatballs as appetizer. The appetizer portion could be larger. The filet was expertly cooked! And the waiter was very attentive to our party of 7. We arrived at 7pm and didn’t leave till well after close at 10:30pm but were not rushed. The manager came out to great us as well. Sullivan’s never disappoints!

Seafood tower was fresh and tasty. Very enjoyable and worth the price. Wedge salads were delicious, albeit they do not have bacon, which is a nice salty crunchy standard in a wedge for me. The salad dressing is great. Steaks were cooked perfectly with a nice char and perfect centers. Oscar style filet was perfection. Dry aged ribeye was deemed to be overly salty. The shaved brussels sprouts side was also very salty. Mashed potatoes were delicious. Mushrooms were perfect. Great coffee was served with our shared cheesecake dessert. Here’s what we didn’t love, we had a 8:45 reservation and the restaurant has a published closing time of 11:00PM. We were not the only people in the place, but were definitely in the middle of a closing restaurant. I think we got the last drop of coffee because our server ran around looking for a pot and we weren’t offered a refill. Bartenders and servers were cashing out and hanging around chatting. We saw cleaning products and dishes going through the dining room. With tip, we spent $ 250 dollars and we were out of there by 10:30PM. I get that people want to go home, but if I want to enjoy my meal while the place is closing up around me, I’ll go home and eat at my mom’s.

Had the seared ahi tuna. Sauce surrounding plate was some sort of wasabi peanut sauce, it had a bite but was awesome. Kale salad was delicious. Banana bread pudding was delicious, don’t normally eat banana bread pudding but it’s consistency was agreeable and enjoyable. Wait staff was attentive and quick with the drink refills. Would definitely come back. Must visit if in Carmel.

Came to Sullivan’s after attempting to go to another place first. Glad that we were able to get a table on Mothers day at the last minute. Upon arrival we were seated promptly and the service was excellent. The food was very good although I thought the shared sides were a bit on the small side. My youngest daughter ordered the hamburger and it came out wrong. They added cheese when she said no cheese and they didn’t bring any fries either. They quickly fixed that and she was happy. The steaks for the rest of us were cooked perfectly. The only other thing was a minor mix up on the drink I ordered. I ordered a Tennessee Mule but they brought me a Russian Mule. It actually was a pretty good drink so the mess up wasn’t really a big deal. Overall, a great experience and will certainly come back.

Oh Sullivan’s. I love your Happy Hour. I love your Mad Man-esque vibe, but oh how you disappointed me during my most recent visit during Northside Nights. My friends and I, including fellow Unilocaler Lisa S. look forward to Northside Nights every year. This year we decided to check out Sullivan’s. $ 35 seemed like an incredible deal. We arrived on a Sunday evening. They were pretty busy. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait a few minutes, which was no big deal. The hostess was really nice. Once we arrived at our table, they were still in the process of cleaning it. Um, ok. I found a dirty napkin near seat. The staff took it and apologized. Again, no big deal. Our waitress eventually came over. She seemed nice, but slightly frazzled. She greeted us and asked for our drink order. We said we would take water for now and needed more time. She took our wine glasses and left. Not sure why she did that because we ordered wine. Go figure. We all ordered a glass of Riesling. The wine was just ok. Unfortunately, my friends glass was dirty. For my three courses, I ordered the wedge salad, dry aged Filet Mignon, and for dessert the bread pudding. The wedge salad was so simple, yet so delicious. My filet was cooked perfectly, but no traces of the Gorgonzola garlic butter I paid the $ 2 up charge for. The side of green beans was good. Unfortunately, my friend was charged an additional $ 5 for substituting her side of green beans for asparagus. She only received three spears. Wow! What a shame. She could have purchased three bunches of asparagus up the street at Fresh Thyme for that price. We were all excited about the dessert course. We saw everyone receive there beautiful plated slices of bread pudding topped with ice cream and caramel drizzle. Yay! Strike 1 — The waitress informed us that they were out of ice cream. Bummer! We said ok. The waitress said she would put extra whipped cream and caramel sauce. Strike 2 — The waitress came back to tell is that not only are they out of ice cream, but bread pudding as well. Whaatttt? Reluctantly, I ordered the cheesecake. The waitress surprised us by bringing out some random pieces of bread pudding she found. Strike 3 — Although I totally appreciate the waitresses efforts because it wasn’t fully her fault, but we received hard edge pieces. Why foodie gods, why?! Needless to say when I received my check for $ 58 I was not pleased. I have no issue paying for a quality meal, but this experience was just not worth it. We were also not informed that the brand of Riesling we received was $ 2 more than the listed price. Ugh! Such a disappointment. I guess I will just stick to Happy Hour.

The third star here is for the salmon… it was quite good. The service was slow and I was overcharged for a glass of wine that was served to me in a visibly dirty glass. We were told they ran out of the dessert we requested only to be given the hard corner of the dish it was prepared in. Prices too high for the service and 3 stalks of asparagus.

Sullivan’s is a must for a great steak! Everything is top notch — service, attentiveness, cleanliness, and ambience. My mom and I were there to celebrate a special occasion and they were really great. Took our picture and gave us a dessert to share for free. The server was great in explaining the menu items and gave us suggestions. The overall feel was wonderful, we really felt like we were treating ourselves. We got lucky on a Saturday night not needing a reservation, but we called ahead to be sure and we were there around 6 which is still a bit early. It’s usually packed in the evenings, so be aware. This is a great choice to have near the Fashion Mall and it’s worth every penny :)
