This is a rough location. The whole franchise is going to shit. I have been to these all over and with the exception of John’s creek ga all of them have forgotten how to cook good tasting food. It’s not just about having smoking hot waitresses with huge jugs and short skirts. Sometimes the cooks have to know how not to burn a burger or torch a shepherds pie. It was full of grease and had chunks of dried potato flakes in it. Bad stuff. Don’t waste your time.

I take groups of guys there during a convention. Bar service is good and the ladies are super helpful with the silly flirting all guys get when they first walk in there. Also, nobody that I know goes in there for the food, I’ve never tried it, to me it’s a bar on my Indy bar hopping tour.

Not much to write here, because we were never served. Sat for 40 min waiting, didnt even get served waters. So not much to review if we weren’t acknowledged during our visit. Went to the buffalo wild wings instead. Pros — we were warm for 40 minutes… so that was nice. Cons — I dunno, never got any food.

Service has been hit and miss on the few times I have been. I haven’t had any problems with the food between taste, appearance, time waiting for food. This place does have lots of seating but if you catch it with a big event going on downtown, you may have to wait.

Chili beer and shot was 38 bux! 30 dollar shot! One time customer for sure. One more for my DNR(do not return) list. Yes the young girls are«cute»…so?

Ordered a turkey burger. I got sick a couple hours later and had diarrhea for 2 days. Waitresses had tattoos of cliché quotes. Not worth the diarrhea.

I ask the waitress what kind of draft beers you have .she rudely expresses they have 30 so I order a local draft that she brings me in a plastic cup. When I ask about a glass she says not today but onlooking at many people drinking out of a glass.

The staff was not ready for a decent crowd on a Monday night. The TK is normally a great place, great services, but the waitress staff in Indy left at 10, leaving the entire bar to overwhelm the one bartender… very surprised, I thought Midwestern hospitality would be much better

Sat at the bar tonight to watch football and the bartender spent more time chatting with the other staff than helping clients. She then served 3 people, all of whom came in after me. After nearly 10 minutes of waiting I gave up. I wanted to mention something to the manager, but after waiting for a while at the hostess stand I had enough… The service at the Yard House around the corner is much better!

The food is generally good, but the service could be a lot better. The was much better when it opened but lately it is slacking. Longer wait times until a waitress comes to take orders and can be difficult at times to get a drink refill. The restaurant is generally clean as are the restrooms.

First, this is not a family restaurant. After trying to seat us in a dark corner of the place, to which I objected, we had a very inept waitress. The hamburger I ordered was good, the chicken pita my spouse ordered was fair at best. The appetizer of garlic parmesean fries was tasty but cold. Beer and scotch were good. This place is not a value if you are looking for good food and service. If you are looking for«Twin Peaks» or «Hooters» with a Scottish aire, this place comes close. I doubt we will return.

This is based off of a trip I took via Indy three years back, and this is totally irrelevant to the food. I had just driven from NJ to Indy, straight through, alone, and I was exhausted. Was staying at the Omni close by, and did no research prior to on where I might want to eat. So as I stumbled around and regained feeling to my butt from all the driving, I knew I needed sustenance. I walked into the Tilted Kilt, and while it took a while to get seated, staff was quite friendly once they saw me. My waitress was quite attentive, noticed I was alone, didn’t make a huge deal about it, but sat down with me to chat while I figured out what I wanted(this was nice, I needed some human contact at that point) Food was standard chain fare, edible, decent and inexpensive. Waitress figuring I had zero clue what to do for the next few hours before I retired for the evening gathered a few other girls around to help me figure out how to make the most of my stay. They read me like a book, sent me to the Slippery Noodle and I watched some of the best live blues I’ve ever seen. I’m sure these gals have moved on to greener pastures(work wise), but I’ll never forget their kindness, and while that’s not a testament to the establishment as it is to them personally, it’s my first and fondest memories of visiting Indy.

I stopped back in for lunch a few days ago. It was busy, but not insanely packed. My server(Christine) was on top of it, and super friendly. Got a Caesar salad that was pretty decent and a huge portion. No drinks since I had to go back to work though… This time, I was definitely more impressed with the service. The food is good, and the pricing was fair.

Went here on a Saturday night… not terrible. The short skirt/boobie shirt schtick is kind of distracting. They had a DJ while I was there, and he turned out to be pretty good. Lots of security staff. Wonder if they have security issues?

Courtney and Mel were both very attentive so I’d definitely say the service was awesome!!! When I sat down I was immediately waited on and they had my food and drink out in no time! They were both very friendly and even one of their managers Crystal took time out of her busy schedule to sit down and talk with me and make sure I was a satisfied customer! I would totally recommend the food, service and atmosphere! Ron

This was my second time coming into Tilted Kilt and both times we had a good experience. I wasn’t sure how busy the place would be considering we came strait from the Pacers game. We were greeted by two hosts and were promptly seated. Our waitress quickly came over for our drink order and was then ready to take our food order when she brought them to the table. I’d say our service experience was good. I ordered the boneless wings in the house sweet and spicy sauce. The wings here have to be my favorite in Indy. They are breaded perfectly and are always juicy with no fatty, gristle parts. The sauce had a good flavor, but not much kick. I’d probably try one of their spicier sauces next time. My husband had the California Turkey burger and loved it. Great taste piled high with delicious guacamole. For us, this was a good dining experience and we’ll most likely return. I’m never a fan of the scantily dresses girls working, but hey, it’s their thing.

Plastic cups and $ 5 for a beer?!? There was nobody at the door to seat us. We went and say on the bar. It took awhile to be served and the table that came in after us was served before us. We had to ask the table next to us if we could use their menus when they were finished. I went to the front looking for menus and there were no menus and no host to ask. It took at least 10 minutes for a server to acknowledge us. Then another 5 – 10 minutes to get our beers. The beers were not full and served in flimsy plastic cups. We ordered a chicken tender wrap… one half was still wrap the other half was not. The chicken was dry but luckily they put a half bottle of sauce on it. The chips were not burnt but they tasted like they were cooked in old oil. We went to this tilted kilt thinking it would be similar to the location in woodridge, il but that was not the case. We are always greeted with a friendly host and seated right away. The managers are always talking to guests and helping the servers. We never saw a manager helping out at the Indianapolis location… or saw a manager at all. The food is consistent and we know we will be happy with it… we could not even recognize the same wrap we ordered in Indianapolis. We are a regular at the Woodridge Tilted Kilt but we will not be too quick to visit the Indy location again.

My coworkers and I checked this place out while on our excursion of Downtown Indianapolis, and weren’t too impressed, nor really let down per se. Since we work in the automotive industry we were offered a discount. The happy hour specials are also not too bad. The service is spotty. The first night we visited this palce, we were treated fairly well, however, some nights after that, the service was lacking some. The choice in beverages is not too shabby. They have a stout, and a few IPA’S along with some other popular light beers. The food is fair, nothing too crazy. They do have some tv’s around, which is nice if you want to catch a game Overall; a nice place to stop by for awhile, and can be hit or miss with service. If I were in the area, I probably would come back: P

Meeeeeeehhhhhh. I can’t believe they are bringing one of these to Carmel. The downtown experience was slow and we even had to leave our cash on the table because the waitress never came back. Which was ridiculous because the place was not crowded whatsoever! Not interested in going back.

This place is what it is, which is a place where scantily clad attractive female waitresses cater to the predominantly male crowd, using flirting tactics and the occasional hand on the shoulder to solicit happy customers rather than top notch service. With that said, they do it well. This place is often packed, as the location right on Georgia St. is perfect for both game crowds and just people out downtown. If you are looking to catch a sports game, this is a place where you can come with very high confidence of being able to find it on one of their many TVs. They have a big bar with seating all around it, and lots of tables to accommodate even very large parties. It looks like they, if not already, are about to open a big outdoor seating area along Georgia St. that will be very nice and provide some more outdoor seating in that area. It can get loud in here, especially when big events are going on, but that’s pretty common for all the bars in this area. I have always felt the service was pretty good here, but it doesn’t surprise me that other people have complained in their reviews. Although, if you come here and expect fantastic service, you probably had your sights set a little high. This is basically another version of Hooters except with an Irish theme, although I think Tilted Kilt has a better talent coordinator for the wait staff. It’s not uncommon to see a waitress sitting down at another table of guys and chatting with them. I predominantly go sit at the bar, and have never had much to complain about service-wise. The menu doesn’t stray much from your typical sports bar type restaurant. They have a bunch of burgers, sandwiches, and appetizers. They do have some specialty items that take on the Celtic theme, and the food is surprisingly good for a place like this. I have always enjoyed my meals, and they have a fantastic late night menu with small plates of deep fried items for $ 2-$ 5 that will satisfy that hunger craving after a few too many beers without filling you up so much you can’t move. They have a good selection of beers on draft, and even more to choose from in bottles. They have drink specials on seemingly every night of the week, and they are actually pretty good prices that are on par with or cheaper than the surrounding competitors. All in all, a great place to get good food while watching the game in a laid back atmosphere and getting served by attractive ladies in revealing clothing. What more could you ask for?
