I had to stop because it brings me back as a kid growing up in New York. Nothing surprising same flavor as I can remember from back in the 1970s and I have to tell you I enjoyed it. The restaurant was nice and clean the service was quick it is what it is and I was perfectly fine with it.

Being from the west coast we don’t have White Castles near us, so when we visited Indy we were super excited to give it a try. Well it was gross… nothing about it was appealing. Not only that but some of the workers who were on break we practically laying in the booths(feet kicked up, head on tables). I just found it rude especially when there wasn’t many places to sit at the time. The only thing that was left was a bar top that was dirty. Maybe I was hoping for more… but I won’t be wasting my time here again.

We stopped in last night and ordered 6 White Castles with extra pickles and 4 chicken sandwiches. Well they didn’t get that right. Instead of extra pickles we got 1pickles per burger. Also the meat was dry like it had been seating around all night. Hopefully this was just a one time problem.

Travel a lot and grab White Castle burgers every time I come through Indy. It brings back fond memories! However, this location(please tell me it’s only here) discriminates against diabetics. The don’t offer any diet soda with caffeine! I know, right. How can you only offer a soda without sugar and with caffeine.

I’ve been coming to this White Castle for 11 years and have always been treated well and they have always accepted the online specials if I call in first. But today I wasn’t worried about any specials we just wanted a quick dinner. My bill was $ 30,I asked for extra sauces and Justin got an attitude and said he can’t give extra sauce. He then preceded to tell me «exactly what sauces do you want with what?».it pissed me off but«I want ketchup and mustard for the 10 double cheese burgers, hot and bbq for the chicken rings and cocktail for the shrimp». Doesn’t seem that hard or unreasonable right? he threw a fit and said he’d get fired if he gave it to me. booo on you justin. worst so called manager in 11 years

What can one say? This is not a joint I frequent, being a self-proclaimed foodie this place is obviously below my usual standards… However, ever so often something comes over me and I need my White Castle fix. Well I had such a moment. Happy to report, the food is still nice and greasy and oh so good at the moment with intense digestive problems to follow… It is still all that it always was, hits the spot and later hits your gut…

Best breakfast sandwiches on the west side. Shirley always greets you with smile. Don’t expect order to be fast since they make each sandwich fresh with a real egg.

White Castle’s are good for the nostalgic value on their sliders. I’ve had their BBQ pork sandwich for a $ 1, and now their breakfast(bacon cheese egg) sandwich for $ 1.62. They were both tiny(should we ever expect any different?) and pretty poor values, thus the 2 star rating. I like having them around for the occasional slider craving, and I do hope they can all stay in business. This one is clean, and particularly convenient though for a coffee stop when headed into the Motor Speedway from south Lynhurst Drive.

Never having fresh sliders before, we went straight from the Airport to this White Castle, guided by my GPS. On our first visit it was just past midnight and after getting our order taken in drive through, we waited at the window for over 15 minutes. Did they forget about us? Luckily, this was our only drive through experience. We dined in a few times here during the day and service was much better. A tip for everyone: Sliders are not good 10 minutes after they are served. When they are cold, they lose their magic. I now believe my wife when she last flew back from there and did not bring sliders… It just isn’t edible if it is fresh.

Being a fast food fan(even though I recognize what it’s doing to my body), I had a Harold and Kumar moment when I saw the magical white sign while looking for a late dinner after a series of flight delays. Let’s just say… meh. I hate to say it, but honestly, I can make better sliders at home. Granted, I drove into the drive through knowing this, but some little part of me wanted to be proven wrong… but alas. Yeah, I want my $ 4.13 back but those sliders already vacated the back end so it’s not likely. *sigh*
