Went here last night with my daughter. The service was horrible! 5 times I tried to get the attention of the waitress. I stopped try she came by 3 more times and none of the 8 times did she ask or respond to me. I finally went to the bar tender and complained and personally brought my drink and the dinner I ordered to me. On another thought I did notice she was very attentive to those people flashing there gold watches and such. I guess I should have worn one of my five last night. One good thing the band country nation was okay and allot of people were out there on the dance floor.

I’ve heard that this club is fun and has great music, but they missed the mark on Friday 5÷17÷13. The band was not very good, the clientle left a lot to be desired. The group I was with made it a lot of fun! The baretending staff was fine, the VIP area is pricey but our friend bought it so that we’d have someplace to sit. The floor plan is nice and open!

This is a newly renovated bar at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio. At ground(Casino) level, there is a stage where bands perform. There is also an upstairs lounge area, which looks down to the the stage and a dance floor. Generally, the ground floor bar is just open, unless there’s entertainment. My experience with the ground floor bar has been good. Friendly bartenders, fast service with a nice pour to mixed drinks. Check the calendar on the F.S. website to see which bands are playing on Friday and Saturday nights. On those nights, there’s a mellow local crowd mixed with casino/hotel guests. Here’s my only beef with this venue. When there are events, like the recent 2010 – 2011 New Year’s Eve party I attended there, they hold back entire roped-off seating areas reserved for either VIPS or casino«founders.» Often, these premium seats go unused while people fight over what is left. On NYE, I literally had people hanging over my back trying to watch the band perform while over 50 – 60 vacant seats(on both levels) sat unused and roped off as «reserved.» These seats were never used. This was a paid event. Many people were truly pissed and stood around or just left, when they could have easily hasd a seat and relaxed. Someone at the casino needs to fix this if they care about attracting repeat customers to this venue. ** UPDATE — REPEATWARNINGTOANYEVENTTHERE ** NYE2013 we experienced the same issue with Lit Lounge. Silly me, I knew better. This time, these fools literally roped-off about 85% of the seats. I kid you not. Then, if someone associated with the casino didn’t show up for seats, they sold them as groups. $ 50 for two seats plus a $ 100 drink minimum charge per table. Further, NONEOFTHISWASADVERTISEDANYWHERE. Consequently, people were showing up for the festivities and ended up walking away pissed off. When we jammed up the hostess taking cash for chairs, she basically said«tough luck.» And, to add a comical element, the junior casino wanna-be police were guarding the roped areas. I generally like stopping by this casino, however, just stay away from LIT if these is a bigger event, because they will screw you over for seating.

Love love LOVE this place. As a native of the desert, it’s not the often that you find a great new spot like this. I go on Thursday nights for the line dancing and it is FABOLOUS! Unlike Jackalobe ranch, it’s not overwhelmingly packed, there is ample seating(yet it’s still busy) the drink and food specials are wonderful and… the have a LIVEBAND! I would recommend this place to anyone who is mildly familiar with the dances(as there is no teach) or if your going with someone who knows how. But even if you wanted to sit back and just enjoy the music and drinks, you’re still in for a good time!
